Yes. I am looking at it now. It looks like it is using hashrates at the moment, going to set that to 0 until I can fix a few other math things.
Everybody's hashrates are dropping, and the amount per round is calculating based on this rate...

Having some issues with more than I though in the pool: http://feathercoin.is-a-geek.com

I have turned off the pool for now, and once all shares are confirmed tomorrow (after I get some sleep) I will manually pay out the correct amount after calculating it.

Please make sure to have a payout address in the system or pm my your username on the site and payout address.

I will payout per share, as opposed to PPLNS method simply because the back-end accounting is not working.

Payouts made. Still missing a few Wallet ID's, but all the rest have bee sent. See txid: ad957d09b9102f84bac70f1cf89c236496dffa84a826487c48fbfd572fcb42fc

Received them, thanks p33t! Let us know if you get the pool running again. I tried paul21's pool earlier but I'm only getting half or less of my hashing power due to all the stales Sad

It is back up now. I have fixed everything except accurate khash/sec (I think). It is correct proportionality, but I cannot seem to nail down how to keep it within 1/5-2x the actual rate...

Only thing I was unable to test was account payouts. Hopefully they work this time. If not, I will manually be paying out again.

PLEASE NOTE: In doing this rewrite, I had to wipe the database. Signup should be working, as well as the password recovery feature.

Thanks allot for that, i was mining all day yesterday, couldn't log in at all and never received a payment and as well, I send you a message and never got a response back.

I'm calling scam (not just useless coin) on this entire 'operation'. Pools don't pay out, obvious 'pre mining' for a small group of early adopters and NO early adoption of coin except for forum sales.

Have you tried the FC Simple Pool?  I have been using it for 30 hours and have received multiple payouts.  Point your cgminer here:  http://fpool1.zapto.org:28339

I don't think it's a scam. There is no premine, and pools used to pay regular yesterday. Altpool is still working and accepting my shares, though website is under maintance now.

Depends heavily on what you call premine. First 5 miners threw something like 5MH @ mining and scraped together millions of coins in hours at ultra low difficulty. Launching an altcoin with 200 block reward and early miners finding 1000s of blocks an hour qualifies as premine to me.

There's less than 4 million coins... so you're saying 5 people have all coins? lol if you want to call something a premine look at Mincoin that has 2mnc/block but gave people 500/block the first days worth of blocks, 100/block the 2nd day and 50/block the 3rd

Did I ever say 5 people have 'all coin' or are you just mentally challenged?

Well if 5 people mined "millions" of coins within the first few hours, then yes I would be assuming that by 4 days later, with only 3.5 million coins, that that you would be suggesting that.

After reading through all 38 pages of posts, I am unable to find why I have such a high reject rate.

My stale rate mining litecoin with a pool is ~1% with the same cgminer gpu config.
I added  --expiry 1 --queue 0, as suggested to another member.
I fowarded port 9336, and have 11 active connections currently.
I currently am solo mining, and have 1 accepts and 5 rejects in a time frame of ~3 hours.

Any ideas at what else I might could try.

Generally at that thread concurrency, anything anything above -I 13 in cgminer will cause it to do that. Try putting it to 13 and see how it works.

I find it highly likely that a small group of people sit on maybe 2 million coins when they started hashing with several MH when difficulty was 0.0000X , don't forget that difficulty at that level goes up exponentially with fast hardware and only hours after the first several thousand blocks have been mined diff would be 100s of times higher.

If you think that they will become rich now, go and take 20'000 $ out of your pocket, buy mining hardware and get a hashrate of 30 mHash and you will have your million coin too very soon.

Maybe a little under 1.5 million is believable. I started mining it 6 hours in and we were only on like block 6000 or so. But I see where you're coming from. Either way, the release is still better than some other coins around Smiley

Just put up 1mh/s here as well. It's having the same issues as the other new pools though, 0 blocks being found. Theres a block being generated right now every 30 seconds on average, why are none of the pools solving these blocks?

Also wondering where these blocks are 'going' to be honest..

Past 41 of 120 have gone to http://fc.dontmine.me ~130 MH/s
Past 19 of 120 have gone to http://fpool1.zapto.org:19327 ~35 MH/s

This is a p2pool block: http://cryptocoinexplorer.com:5750/block/ca2ae3c71d20dab9c2fb2e08d2a5e083440472b7a22dd5f2f046976269f08c39

"networkhashps" : 270156152 270MH/s

So basically useless to try to mine with over 250 MH/S online after 3 days vs. scrypt based altcurrency. Gotcha!

Added a new P2Pool server for FeatherCoin

[ANN][P2Pool][FeatherCoin] pool.feathercoin.cc - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=180983

Fire the cannons!
Just put up 1mh/s here as well. It's having the same issues as the other new pools though, 0 blocks being found. Theres a block being generated right now every 30 seconds on average, why are none of the pools solving these blocks?

Are your reward calculations correct? I'm showing just over 1000/fc a day with 1 mh/s?

Most likely not, but let's figure this out.

1 MH/s is 1/250~ of the network.

50 blocks/hour approx are found currently

so roughly 1200 a day for 240000 coins

240000/250 = 960 coins/day

RIP my old pools... sometimes BTC isn't life ;(

OK, Newb question...

On the feathercoin.is-a.geek.com site, there's a section that says  Estimated Per Payout

What does that mean? Is that the total FC I've collected so far? Or is it a multiplier for the shares that I have gathered??

Understood, why am i then over an hour into mining there and my reward showing only 0.5 FC? is it because of the 100k pplns? because, at this rate, im looking at 12 fc/day, which is nowhere near correct.
