Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I was browsing some bitcoin forum yesterday and I found a guide which shows a way of changing the timezone on localbitcoins.com when making a deposit which will cause your transaction getting stuck in "Pending transactions" on the site BUT the money will get added to your balance anyway. And then if you contact support telling them that your transaction is stuck, they will add it AGAIN to your balance without checking if the transaction was successful - which will basically get your money doubled.

Link to the guide is here:
https://cutt.ly/localbitcoins

Abusing site bugs is unethical but if you really need some easy money, then this is a way to get it.

@toknormal - That chart has been posted loads of times before. It has us at $3,000 in October 2019.
So you have us hitting the halving at what, $4,000?

Come on, man!

Just wait & see.

The cycle's not played itself out yet.

I disagree with your chart. I think $100,000 per coin by late 2021.
Either way though, I’m 33, I can wait until 2023-24 for unworldly life changing money, no problem.

Just look at the run on the dollar at the moment. For that kind of BTC price in such a short time, the dollar has to WEAKEN, not strengthen. In fact all currencies do. In fact the reverse is happening and the fiat system is coping fine despite all the mayhem and work debt bubble. There's no sign of that trend changing anytime soon.

Meantime, bitcoin now has more of a reputation for losing people money than anything else. I realise it isn't like that for old timers but for the thousands that arrived during the last 2 years it has.

2024-5 for the next. ATH. 3k by the end of November 2019.

Something special happened in the first year or so after Satoshi gave us Bitcoin, something no one expected and many thought was impossible.

Try to imagine Bitcoin back then...before anyone really knew what, if anything, would happen with it...

Now 52 BTC.
What a joke. Interest in Bitcoin isn't that high, i guess?

It resets each day.

So it is about 61 as I type.

https://www.theice.com/products/72035464/Bakkt-Bitcoin-USD-Monthly-Futures-Contract/data?marketId=6137541

The first day was about 72
The second day was 216
And so far the third day (still early in the day) is 61

Thanks, also fillippone cleared that up for me.
You know any further bakkt statistics resources, btw?

I agree that some of the statistics are a bit unclear, and to the extent that any of this matters, hopefully, we will be able to see some performance statistics in the near future.  So far, I have not come across any website keeping track and that really clarifies some of these matters.

Seriously though, I bought the dip for the third time this year and accumulated more. I expect more dipping w 9k rekkt and I will continue to accumulate all the way down in the event we make it to 7k, 6k, and even 5k if that somehow happens.

This is Bitcoin so we know its all possible. Whatever happens in the next 90 days will Im sure be the last great chance for cheap coins for several years so wipe your tears, refrain from attacking people that were or are short term bearish and instead focus your efforts on backing up the truck and filling those bags boyz.

(depressed Fatty cunt tard alter ego eating away the Big Blocker Blues pic)

Just make sure there's any dip to dip in or you'll run out of chicken when the real dip comes.

Ahhh Fatty lecturing on the discipline of dip buying but cant help but making a food eating metaphor I see Wink

Thanks for the concern. I bought with everything I owned the real dip in 2014 and 15 and still hold the vast majority of those coins, buying dips now is a petty sideshow to kill time at this point, Im over 95 percent net worth in King Bitcoin. Big blockers never tricked me out of my riches and into shitcoins Cheesy

Why are you calling me fatty, asswipe?

I haven't talked to you before. Nor have I been talking about alts lately.

The only one bitching about big blocks anymore is JJG and he's on ignore.

Are you retarded(I mean beyond the typical big block shitcoin delusions)? You talked to me right here in this quote above. Thought you had thicker skin fatty.

Ill call a dim-witted cunt like you whatever I want whenever I want as often as I want so you can eat a few twinkies to feel better if need be Cheesy You still bitch about big blocks, no sense in lying about it. JJG has never been a big blocker.

wut? of course I talked to you above...do you understand the concept of "before"?

No, JJG is not a big blocker, but he brings up the subject all the time. How can this be so hard for you to understand?

Fuck it
