You are right. Could be whales selling, then when stop losses are triggered buy everything back including the cheap stoploss coins.

Just checked a little about rugby and it sounds pretty racist.

I wonder to what extent this chart that has been so widely shared is already priced in? I mean if everyone truly thinks 100k is a year or less away then they'd be buying right now hand over fist and the price would already be up, at least I would (and that's what I'm doing as I'm able). Or do you all think the big front loading wouldn't start yet?

The answer is in the prices, my friend.
Either the model is wrong, or people are not discounting the first halving.
The interesting point is the following.
Why should people discount only the first halving? They should discount all of them if they have faith in the model!

So, if the first halving effect get eventually fully discounted, I think we'll have a snowballing appreciating force in the discount of every following halving. In that case: fasten your seatbelts.

I'm sure alot of us are already over exposed after the last year and a half and have already taken advantage of the dips and have our positions already set. Now its just DCA with generated income as we are in a holding pattern. I doubt waiting for lower is a viable strategy that many here are playing for.

his ADT and it went no place. I'd guess BTC would go down by 15% on such shenanigans and if an outright ban, well at least in the short term

at best BTC would be back about $3,200 again. IMHO. It likely would bounce back some on this new reality...but it would mightly suck.

the guy has too much sway in the media and folk freak out about his irrational actions, that would be some of the results and thus my guesses on above.

I think here the game changer is institutional money. DCA from individuals is not going to drive the price up so massively, now that market cap has grown so big.
Wall street needs bitcoin, because is a volatile AND decorrelated asset that is much needed in a low volatility, negative interest world.
