My odds of not being a Walmart greeter when I'm 60 rallied by about 13% today.

I'm still looking at cat food, but it's gourmet cat food.

I believe the gourmet is fit for human consumption.....

In fact I have noticed it is way cheaper to give my cat "human" (regular) tuna and shrimps than those "gourmet" stuff. Fortunately, she also seems to prefer the "human" variety instead.

Maybe some day I will be rich enough to feed myself on gourmet cat food.

Yup. A pet food taster makes a living doing exactly what you think. But in this case it's a mistake to judge a book by its cover. Pet food tasting is a legitimate industry with an entry-level salary of around $40,000 per year. The top earners make around $120,000 per year.

In Europe all pet food is fit for human consumption.

In Europe, for example, the Animal Feed Regulations of 2010 mandate that pet food ingredients must be "fit for human consumption."

You have to really screw up in a bull market in order to be into catfood territory, no?  I mean, sure, we have had nearly a 4 month period of correction, but gosh, anyone who bought at least a year ago, or longer, should still be UP 3x, no?

Also, I saw some posters here talking about a bear market.  We are not yet in a bear market; however if BTC prices are lower than $7k at the end of 2018, I might be willing to consider such possible labels....

Also, I understand not wanting to sell BTC that you already accumulated, so perhaps that is the reason for the cat food discussion.. even though on paper, a lot of us are likely still rich, but we remain nervous about parting with any of our BTC when a large number of us perceive it to be an appreciating asset in the coming months to years, but we just don't know exactly when that price appreciation is going to take place....  So I can understand being afraid to sell BTC for fiat or using BTC for consumables, such as food.

Sometimes, I also feel a bit contemplatative regarding whether I am eating out 3 times a week, and perhaps I should cut back or maybe I should cut back on how much the meals cost?

To me, it feels like I deserve a treat, even if I could still accumulate more BTC with my profits, but it just still feels so good to be enjoying some luxuries, because these current prices sure feel so much better (and I feel able to do it) than the mid $200s prices of the 2015 period.. and it feels much less guilty to be spending BTC that are in the black, and I would have never thought about spending my BTC in 2015 - when my portfolio was in the red... .. so if I ever spent any BTC back in 2015 - I always replaced it right away, in those times.

Actually, I started going to the gym a bit more recently, and I started to think that if ever I was homeless, a gym membership would be a good thing to attempt to maintain.

Actually, I started going to the gym a bit more recently, and I started to think that if ever I was homeless, a gym membership would be a good thing to attempt to maintain.

Pro-Tip: If you can't afford a proper home, just buy a warehouse/storage container to have all your shit and sleep on it and a gym pass to shower and maintain your looks and fit. Way better than trying to sleep/live on a car (even if it were a Maybach).

Bitcoin

Support is building nicely at $7.8k with a defined secondary floor at $7.4k as told by the cloud cover below. I think a test of $8.5k is going to happen over this weekend with even higher levels possible if FOMO kicks in. Many institutional traders are still waiting on the side for a more defined move out of the bearish downtrend we have been experiencing.

Pro-Tip: If you can't afford a proper home, just buy a warehouse/storage container to have all your shit and sleep on it and a gym pass to shower and maintain your looks and fit. Way better than trying to sleep/live on a car (even if it were a Maybach).

For a long time I considered living in a stealth sleeper van. I was going to paint it up like a plumber's van or something that nobody would care about sitting on their street.

Doing my research a lot of people talked about how you should get a gym membership instead of installing a shower.

Also, Walmart is the most friendly to people parking over night.
