The Bitcoin halvening is happening in 2020. Currently 1,800 new coins are mined everyday. That will be cut to 900 with an 1.8% inflation rate. Bitcoin then becomes less inflationary than Fed annual rate target of 2%. https://twitter.com/danheld/status/1119224596975312896

Apparently he made it to Vietnam so out of immediate danger
It's Ironic that he had to run to Vietnam where BTC is illegal as a means of payment. Live to fight another day.... Essential rule of survival I fully support Elwar and his ambitions but just find it Ironic that so very few countries have made BTC illegal for payments yet that is where he had to go. Reality if a fucked up place to live. You're talking about my mind come, brother, we are enjoy

It's another discussion that if one supports his actions-ideology or not. Yes, Time-situation does play its tricks sometimes and we all feel helpless when we are against time and it's sad too that we can't do much about his situation. Ironic situation, yes it is.. if we look into it with "btc illegal" scenario but in the end human life is more important. Let's just hope that he finds safe passage to home along with Nadia asap.

I wasn't going to do it if I needed to change my avatar seeing as the animated avatars are grandfathered now. The OG's remember how well faucets and campaigns worked out long term. Free BTC you say? Lets see how this ages. And its 20 posts maximum per day. Anyhow, I'm getting a bit disgruntled lately trying to find new entries with a fresh stack of fiat . Been chasing the price up since 4900 and it just wont dip to my orders. Perhaps a new strategy, cancel orders, watch chart, catch knife 20 a day is actually kind of spammy if its all in this thread! But JJG could do it from one post if he broke it up. Do those campaigns pay any posts here? I mean, no sigs displayed...

Apparently he made it to Vietnam so out of immediate danger
It's Ironic that he had to run to Vietnam where BTC is illegal as a means of payment. The whole thing is completely ironic if we also take into account that being an US citizen/national could significantly help him in this crazy issue. I mean.. Do you think anyone in power would care if some son of a bitch went and bazooked the seastead just for the "fun" of it if they had renounced any country citizenship? Probably not. Total "freedom"/independence (from ANY country) is risky business. A good balance there would be the best choice. Or at least the safest one. In fact I will feel he is 100% safe when he arrives US or any other stable western country.

No. Definitely an inspired move that contribute to saving this thread from the dog food factory. Fully agreed... even if I am ok with people wearing ads/sigs (at least as long as they don't spam just to increase the post count).

Looks like this guy rolled over, If anyone has done business with him you better lose that info. FinCEN notes that this is its first enforcement action against a peer-to-peer virtual currency exchanger and the first instance in which it has penalized an exchanger of virtual currency for failure to file CTRs. FinCEN also notes that since his infractions, Mr. Powers has cooperated with FinCEN efforts. In addition to paying a $35,000 fine, Mr. Powers has agreed to an industry bar that would prohibit him from providing money transmission services or engaging in any other activity that would make him a “money services business” for purposes of FinCEN regulations. That is a real slap on the wrist.

Yes I've put the JJG bot into read-only mode for the past few days. Spring is here and he starts to feel a stirring in his algos, a yearning for fellow bots of the female variety. It's a dangerous time for him as well as frankly for us; we do not want these things to proliferate. Look what happened last year; I let the experiment run a bit and we were left with the cryotourist bot, the slammielayer bot, the kingnocoiner bot; all hideous aberrations with their views and dodgy deals and fake interests in shitcoins and counterarguments and whatnot.

They already raped their pound of flesh with CME. Don't fool yourself, they miss nothing. Dont fool yourself that I fooled myself Perhaps it would have been more clear if I specified what I mean by missing the boat and who "they" are. I am referring to the regulatory agencies and the fees that they missed out on, the prestige that they missed out on, all the twitter followers they missed out on(Crypto mom and dad have tons, all other clowns have almost nothing), the feels of doing the right thing they missed out on, and much more I could list. https://www.motif.com/faq/what-are-regulatory-transaction-feesA legit Bitcoin ETF would have already netted them lots of fee revenue. Govy boyz like nothing more than revenue. They got peanuts from CME. Fuck these cunts. Boat missed over and over.

Entirely coincidentally, still have itchy feet, and will be away for much of the summer. Might look in to taunt you a second time. Perhaps you will have been funny by the end of it. Like a black swan event or a miracle.
