{..snip..} This time we do it right.  Cool

This time we sell a % at the top (or as close to the top as we can) instead of sitting there like a douchebag & watch life changing money lose 80-90% of its fiat value & sell nothing.

I値l be much better prepared this time. That痴 the plan any way.

Are you still planning to sell 1 million USD worth at, I think you said before, $6,000?

EDIT: Bullish. Voted $6,800-$7,000 in the poll.

I'll probably never be able to reach my double-digit target unless I go full FOMO from now on. Just like JJG said, It'd be gambling if I buy big pieces at this point while we are making higher highs constanly. I Had like $1500-1600 to spend on btc this month. Spent half of it, kept the rest.

Even if it goes to zero tomorrow, the excitement I had over the years was worth every penny I spent on btc.

Wait mindrust, we are only 3 days into May, and you already spent half of your BTC allocation.

I recognize that I probably don't need to remind you that you appear to already be engaging in too much FOMO buying, but hey what do I know?

Personally, I would suggest that the most of your BTC buying budget that you should have spent by now, is 25% based on a kind of weekly allocation... of course, if you borrow from your 2nd week of May allocation, then you could arrive at having had spent 50% by now, and from time to time that could be a prudent approach - though it would seem better to engage in such advancing of future funds to the present when the BTC price is going down, rather than when the BTC price is going up... ..

Anyhow, much of this will likely work itself out, even if the shorter term leads you into some pickle-like mistakes.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I usually buy $200 worth of coins in every 4-5 days but this time I said fuck it. Actually I was just about to buy all with $1600 but something didn't let that happen.  Grin My buy price was 5350 so I can't really say I am sorry. (since we are around $5.7k  now Grin)

Anyway I know that I won't be dumping anything before we see $50k so in the long run, even $5k-5.5k is still the bottom price. Of course it makes lots of difference when you buy from $4k instead of $5k but you know this shit, it doesn't always happen as you want it to be.

After we reach $50k...

I'll be watching the charts very carefully. My ultimate dump signal, If I still happen to be hodling, will be, of fucking course, wait for it...

the death cross. This time we do it right.  Cool

I am here since 2013 but I didn't even have 1/10 of my current TA knowledge between  2013-2018. I still don't know much but hopefully I'll be able to know the top this time.
Great way to do it, I would love to be able to toss that much in weekly. I'm more along the lines of mining and day trading right now.

I started buying on the way down from the Gox catastrophe, think my first whole bitcoin purchase was 」400 (GBP). Most of my coins were bought in the $150 - $700 range, I was at a loss based on what I invested in total for a long time. The drop from $19,xxx to $3,200 was a lot worse for me though personally to witness because that was watching ACTUAL serious life changing money slip through my fingers.

I hope I知 battle hardened, more experienced & more prepared this time round.

Interesting. I didn't feel that way at all. The bubble was so fucking silly that I was deeply unshocked that the collapse happened. I knew it needed to shake the ICO shit off and it certainly did that with gusto.

I really, really, really did not expect the extent of 2014/15. That was the one that sucked bum for me, but I didn't go anywhere all the same.

When I made my much-lauded entrance into this space in 2013 my target year was always 2020. Then I realised it was the year after that might be arousing so it's 2021 now. Anything before then I was fully prepared for whatever fluffing or ravaging was coming my way.

I think we値l see the peak of this cycle in mid to late 2021. I知 thinking something near $100,000 per coin is possible.

Disclaimer - I知 a fucking moron who got lucky with bitcoin. Don稚 listen to my predictions, I知 a total charlatan.

My only hope is that if it does reach that level it's not off the back of something so stupid again. Good, honest interest in BTC will be more than sufficient for me.

Even then I'd rather there wasn't this explosive cycle, but that's the only way it's going to roll until it's considerably more entrenched.

I know what you mean, I壇 prefer a gradual, more healthy increase in price aligned with getting closer to mainstream adoption.

I think bitcoin is still in its infancy though & we池e going to get these volatile & somewhat erratic price swings until total mainstream adoption which could be a decade away.

Everything is in place for institutional money to enter on this cycle though & I think they will, big time.
Wall Street etc saw what happened last time from $1,000 to $19,000 & they池e going to want a piece of it.

It痴 going to be like a viagra pill with a face (movie quote) this time. I expect a violent upturn approx 6 months after the next halving.

If another explosion is to happen it absolutely sure as shit will not stop anywhere as low as that. There would still be a lot of headroom at that price.

All the same I'd rather sell what I wanted to sell in a timely manner for less on the way down rather than slamming the sell button on a dying exchange at the peak.

Other day my wife was saying if the price hits 20k again then she wants me to sell some and invest in property. I said if I were to sell at that price then I would sell some when the price was 19k+.

I am not gonna sell until the price hits 30k+. I hope the days are coming soon.

I wonder how those people who didnt buy at $3200 because they wanted $2500 feel right now? Could have been up 80%-90% already....now they must pray Bitcoin falls to maybe $4000.......

I know I will regret if the price never drops 😛

I have a price level to hit. If it reaches it I will sell half without blinking no matter what the market is looking like and it'll be permanently removed and put into sound alternatives like ostrich farms and leasing hotel rooms in dying post-industrial cities.

If I had any doubts it would clearly not be the correct price level. Annoyingly it got not too far off that during the last bubble, which I never expected, but not quite enough and I didn't trust any of the services to sell it by that point. Once that's out the way it's all pure gravy from then on.
