Let me explain it like this:
When I was really panicking in 2014,
I was trading on btc-e and I had like 2 btc on the exchange and I was playing the trading game. (buy high, sell low)
For example:
When it was Around $800. I sold some, but guess what? It went up instead of going down! Wtf, What to do now? Of course I bought back as soon as it went down to $825 from 850. Then it went down even further to $600.
That's how I used to panic. Stupid old days.
Then for a year or 2, I never touched BTC. Then started stacking in late 2016 with the new rules. I am still following those rules. So far so good.
LOL, well if you would not changed the pattern you would most likely not be here anymore. I doubt there is anyone that did not at least tried to daytrade. Some learn faster then others, that that they would better do if they would just wist a casino. About the price. We all must not forget we are still in 2015. Yes it looked we are not anymore, but that was just an illusion. I would say that we are in early 2016... (which would mean the time period until May). Alternatively, I would say that we are in mid to late 2016 (not sure if the blackswan event of the bitfinex "hack" of August has happened yet or not), but hey, there is only so much that can be done with fractal comparisons because none of the comparisons are going to be very precise when attempting to predict the future short-term BTC price direction, until taking a retrospective overlay..

OMG.... Toxic has been taken over by an alien (AKA bearshill doom and gloom pumper). What you shooting for? Sub $8,500 or some other "reasonable" bearish price that may or may not happen?
And here I thought my disguise was working...fml. Actually looking at $7.25k Jay tbh... You should know by now jjg that I just read the tea leaves..I dont make em. My personal guess is that the honey badger is going to come along and spank all these wanna be bears once word gets out how shaky fiat systems actually are at the moment. Times be a changing my friend. This dosent mean I wouldnt mind a nice diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppp and to scoop up some more cheap coin. *shrug* Here have a +1 WOsMerit just because. Carry on.

This dump looks exactly like 27.07 - 10200 to 9500 at once and after that to 9200. Both dumps are so identical that I think they are made by the same person. He didn't want to sell at 10200 but to bring the price down as much as possible. Otherwise he could have sold for hours/days if necessary. This may be related to some whale in bitmex who put earlier enourmous bids. I hope I am not right and it is just the usual stop loss/longs closing thing. Otherwise it would be sad that we can't break the 12K resistance because of one manipulator. Needless to say, Bitcoin will overcome again the curse of Bitmex. (And I think all hodlers curse these manipulators, so they have to live with a lot of bad energy around them! ) But all is OK. I've just sent 640 euro to CB. 10% discount is a nice bonus, if this is the will of the whales, so it be! The sum is too small, so I don't really care. This month I am happy to buy 0.11 BTC. So, if we stay for 10 years between 9K and 12K, I will be able to buy 10 BTC. And when we finally move to 20K (this is the worst worst absolutely impossible scenario of course), I will again achieve my goals in terms of USD. But I see 50K coming in 3 years of course! And after that, what I bought around 10K I will keep for 100K and so on! Living on the 10x principle! God, I wish I knew I had to buy when I first heard about Bitcoin - it was $280 that day! It took me 1-2 years to get into it. Well, no matter how late I entered, I just need an year at least half as good as 2017! 50k in 3 years, ffs what kind of FUD is this 100k or we form a global Bitcoin militia and take action. Two Bulls accusing each other for spreading FUD Nice Hodl on Hodl tight Hodl strong Hodl wise Hodl Hodl brave Hodl freedom Hodl world changing stuff Hodl among brother ........ Add some more if you like

One of the first times I don’t mind the price going down Unless you plan on buying a kilo or three of molly and flipping it... buying falling knives is super sketchy in Altcurrency Land. At least you didn't have to work hard for that money that Mommy gave you. Bitcoin under $5000 by Christmas. Shitcoins due for a bloodbath too in a huge way. (My guesses) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTf5j9LDObk (kinda old, but still great 2 years later) Bitcoin headed to $5,000! (staying on topic)

If bitcoin falls to 5k that would be the first time in bitcoin's history to make a 8 month bull trap and go bearish again.
in 2013 we saw BTC go from $100+ down to $50 weeee

in 2013 we saw it go from $100+ down to $50 weeee We're talking about the trend. It also went from 6k to 3.1k but the trend was the same - bearish trend. If it goes to 5k now, the longterm trend changes from bullish to bearish. Which would be the first time of that kind of change. (the first 8 month bull trap)

We droped only to 9300 usd and all of the sudden i see many bearish predictions. Imagine bitcoin falls to 8000 what a drama would that be. No coiners calling for 3k and 1,4k again

I think y'all maybe missed the point of the link I posted today, this isn't old news from 6 days ago. The link explains that purchases with crypto are VAT free. This follows from a clarification by the Portuguese gov't a couple days ago. Note the quote below isn't talking about investment gains. According to a report published on Aug. 26 by Portuguese business newspaper Jornal de Negócios, the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority have confirmed that crypto transactions or payments are exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT). Not your quote, but this quote is talking about it, as far as I understand : Portugal’s Tax Authority has clarified that both cryptocurrency trading and payments in crypto will not be taxed in the country, Cointelegraph en Español reported on Aug. 27. -snip The agency reportedly provided the clarification to a local crypto mining company, publishing an official ruling document. In the document, the authority states that the exchange of crypto for fiat money is free of VAT, adding that crypto users do not have to pay any income tax.
