One more BTC bull run and that's it. I'll be unemployed, living on passive income just like makrospex.

makrospex is living on passive income?  Bitcoin?  I did not know that.  Any opsec issue(s), here?

Yep he does. The man is living the dream. Skateboarding at 40's, no work, fuck all.

Check below:

Yes, i see BTC as the digital gold. Maybe all future e-currencies are valued against Bitcoin, why not?
Most people in my environment are dumb, they call BTC a hoax. My brother in law wanted to invest in Bitcoin when it was around $350, and his father talked him out of it, into some kind of fund-based asset (i don't know the english term for this). He called his father an idiot in 2017, of course, but the latter still thinks he was right. This is the second "nearly"-coiner i knew to date. The other one had Bitcoins, but only for Silkroad and the likes. He never held them longer than for some weeks.
When you even talk about Bitcoin here, you are suspect to criminal activity, money laundering or you are seen as a moron who wants to lose all his money. They think it's child play, regardless what the facts are, they always know better. This is normality where i live, i am the megageek. I'm skateboarding at age 40+, i'm living on passive income, so i got that "strange freak that does not go to work" image and most people are intimidated by my presence, excluding very few, close friends and family members.
My mother and my wife are the only persons that know that i got the corn. The average IQ in my neighborhood can't be much more than a weak 90 at max.
A guy like RealRoach would be a respected mayor candidate of the town i'm living in. Time went on, in other parts of my country, not so much where i made myself a home   Roll Eyes

FYI: I'm living "the dream" at a price. I'm pretty separated from the rest of the local population by interest, opinion and intellectual qualities. Still, i try to see people as equal, by the way. I was quite successful in the IT industry, even had a small number of employees, which where more like colleagues than working slaves for me, i worked my way up to there from zero, literally after quitting school at 17 and being thrown out of home by my mother because of it. By the age of 37 i got ill, by a four week lasting flu, followed by severe fatigue and brain fog. This was the end of my working life. We do have good social insurance here, but i had to fight for it, over the course of three trials at the court. The oldfashioned, retarded neurologists didn't know shit about Chronic Fatique Syndrome by then, and at the same time, the well known Burnout Syndrome was a fashionably, common diagnosis for IT workers, so they diagnosed me for that, but their therapy and medication just made it worse. Then i learned by myself how to cope with and threat CFS, and after some more years i am at a state of subjective 50% physical fitness, but still some part of my memory is not working right: the so called working memory. It's not easy to get around the day with that, but i tend to think positive, that's why you all had mostly read about the positive aspects of my private life, now you also know about my lifes "other side of the coin".
Writing and constantly editing a post of this length, so it makes some sense in the end, usually takes me around 20 minutes.

Living the dream?
Well, kind of, but not really.

If I ever get to get married one day, no way I am letting my kids to be slaves. Fuck that. If I am not going to get what I want, I'd rather die single and without kids.

Entering 8th year as a working man. I know how hard it is to make money by working legit. Fuck this shit.

Countryside of Austria, the motherland Arnold Schwarzenegger left because of the limiting stupidity i was writing about.

Things are changing in Austria too. A1 -  The biggest Austrian telecommunication provider now accepts Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for payments. They started to accept crypto this month. They accept it even in Graz - city, where Schwarzenegger was bodybuilding.

The population of Graz, where i was living in for several months, is about 300 times higher than in my current place. I'm almost living at the base of the alps, the half of the area is covered with farmland, and we even have an ATM terminal. I don't even get wired broadband out here, only 3G mobile internet (4G if i use a beam antenna).  Grin

The best thing is if you enjoy your work. But only a few procent of people are enjoying it. They are lucky. But so are you, who got early into bitcoin. At least you will be financially independent in the future. That's my strong belief. When you get that you can spend more time to improve your health and to spend more time for the things you like to do.

4 hour chart.

Middle band is Bollinger bad width, which is a measure of volatility.  Volatility is currently ultra-low.

Bottom band is volume.  Volume is currently ultra-low.

Bitcoin doesn’t like to sit around on its hands.

We are winding up for a big power move.  Probably up. I give us a maximum of 48 hours before she blows her top.

Don't get angry, you're harming yourself through anger. You need your energy to build your dreams and make them true. Anger has its use, as we're emotional lifeforms, but if you can't let it go within some minutes, it starts to weaken you. Like depression, but of an opposite quality.

I got married and i accumulate bitcoin for my kids. I want them to work, but i don't want them to limit their life to working. Working in itself is good, but every working human deserves respect and should be honored by the ones that rely on their commitment. This is a major bug in most human societies. I worked more than a decade as employee, started as a roadie after kicking school, then for a year as a painters assistant, after that i was an assistant to the housekeeper of a broadcast company, later advanced to computer user support, to sysadmin, then i got on to sysadmin/programmer in a software company, before i became self employed in the IT, where i had to deal with my stupid customers retarded expectations. All the way to there, i was hacking web servers in my free time at night, as a member of a formerly well known hacking group (in the 90s), which opened a door in the security/sysadmin business.

Enough of information about me, at this point it starts to feel a bit uncomfortably, but it was also a relieving experience.
All information can and will be used against me...

I also planned to die single, by then, but shit happens, as they say Grin

When is the best time to buy bitcoin? The time when you still have a choice.

https://twitter.com/rhythmtrader/status/1167964490941390848?s=21

Another retard post.  Anything with a blockchain has enormous overhead and does not scale.  Even if they weren't all designed to centralize with zero fundamentals, there would still be no option to use them without getting rid of the blockchain entirely.  And no, don't even bring up some nonsense like Lightning Network.  It's an ultra-centralized, permissioned ledger system built on top of another centralized system.  Digital shitcoins have absolutely zero hope whatsoever of defeating physical metals unless it's some type of government run tyranny attempting to force them on you with some eMunie-like system that doesn't even have a blockchain.

So, your entire premise is completely false.  There is no "choice" about whether to use digital shitcoins or not.  It's not even possible to use them because they don't scale, among millions of other problems.  They can function as a settlement system like Hal Finney claimed, but a settlement system just means the best store of value on the base of Exter's Pyramid, and imaginary, digital shitcoins have zero hope competing against physical metals there.  They suck at acting as a currency (scaling) and suck at acting as a settlement system (store of value).  The only thing 'inevitable' about digital shitcoins is them being inferior and losing horribly to physical metals which easily defeats them in both departments.

No, it was a brasilian based group with members from the US and also Europe.
But it was quite in the same timeframe of TESOs activity. I never got to know other hax0rs outside the group personally.

EDIT: Typo was out of reach. I was mainly responsible for testing networks and servers for the presence of intrusion detection systems. No need to be half a genius for that Smiley

Good evening WO!

Observing BTC@9,633.

Observing an article about Libra  on the flight magazine.
I took a pic of it with compulsory WO sign (didn’t want to vandalise the paper as I am a civilised person):

Not bad for a totally casual article: it even stated there’s nothing in common with bitcoin as it is a permissioned blockchain!
