I heard two guys in a carpark a couple of years ago talking to each other about bitcoin (they sounded dumb AF but talking about bitcoin any way).
One said something like, ‘have you seen that bitcoin, it was £200 each a couple of years ago, imagine if you were lucky enough to get in back then’.

I had a little chuckle to myself & though ‘haha, losers’.

I heard about bitcoin when it was around $50. When it was around $300 I wanted to buy but i couldn't buy anything on my name at that time. And my parents didn't want to hear anything about that. I also didn't know anyone who had bitcoin. I tried to convince them back then and i told them they would regret not buying bitcoin. After a few years i convinced my father to buy some btc in 2017 at 2k but that's his btc. I bought some in 2017 and here  i am watching jokes about the late comers  Cheesy It is what it is. I can't change this. But it's better than nothing.

You will be joking about the "late comers" in about 5 years too.  Grin

And you are not late, you are still WAAYYYY early adopter. In fact there are no "late comers" to the future of money. There are people who haven't even been born yet who will be adopting Bitcoin in the future. Let that sink in for a moment.

I see your point. I just need to wait enough time and it will be fine.
But i probably wouldn't make jokes about them cuz i know how they feel  Grin

There are always going to be some valid reasons that some people do not get into bitcoin, including if you are living with your parents and do not have much if any of a cashflow.. and also there are going to be some circumstances where people have either really fucked up their financial life or they are just in a situation where they are struggling to merely pay the basics of food and shelter.  So, it is very justifiable of a need to get your own (financial) house in order before you even have any discretionary value that you are able to put into bitcoin.

On the other hand, there are plenty of laughable cases of people who buy lottery tickets, but not bitcoin or they live way the fuck beyond their means on consumer items and don't buy bitcoin and they fail and refuse to get their financial house in order... So, those can be somewhat laughable means, generally, especially if they fail or refuse to even attempt to see the light or to act self-righteous about their own approach.  If they are actually attempting to fix their situation, then maybe it is NOT laughable as long as they are not falling back into the same gambling or irresponsible ways of handling their situation while still not investing in bitcoin.

By the way, I think that it might be better to get your shit in order, whether it is paying off your debts or figuring out ways to consume less or to earn more before investing in bitcoin, but at the same time, a person in such a messed up situation may not want to wait completely, so maybe start out with $5 per week into bitcoin while getting their shit in order and then as their financial organization and discretionary income seems to increase, then to also increase the amount that they are able to put into bitcoin.. .while also having a need to maintain an emergency fund which would be enough of a surplus of liquid capital that can be tapped into or even used to live for several months (perhaps 6 months or more).

Here is the real research from the japanese study about bananas

"According to Japanese Scientific Research, a fully ripe banana with dark patches on yellow skin produces a substance called TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor) which has the ability to combat abnormal cells. The more darker patches it has, the higher its immunity enhancement will be; Hence, the riper the banana the better the anti–cancer quality. Yellow skin bananas with dark spots are 8 times more effective in enhancing the property of white blood cells than green skin versions."

I just can't find the above quote in the document linked no matter how hard I search. Could you help me?

You realize that the advice that the writer gave in the abc news article you linked was exactly not to listen to such advice from facebook, youtube and other lobotomy encounter groups?

John Mcafee is in hospital.

He’s had a history of drug abuse over the years I believe so maybe it’s connected to that, heart attack or something. I know he’s a bit of a figure of fun here but I wish him the best. It’s not good karma to mock people who are ill etc.

Wait.  Poisoning of the well??

The very term "libtard" implies right in it "everyone who disagrees with me is mentally deficient"

pot -- kettle

I find all this off topic and rather boring, but that right there is hypocrisy of the highest order.

Is that a red meat there? Just asking, not trying to be rude.

I think i can clear up the mystery why red meat is carcinogenic, opposed to white and light meat.
There is a main difference in preparation: red meat needs to be hung up to 14 days after slaughtering, while white meat does not.
Hanging the meat makes the muscle cells less dense by rotting in a controlled way BUT this also introduces oxidation of fat and protein as side effect, which is proven to be carcinogenic.

However, what i know for sure is that deficiency of folic acid actually slows down cell division and thus reduces tumor growth. There are some downsides to this, but it works well in slowing down tumor growth. On the other hand, this weakens mucous membranes, which you can compensate for with zinc (zinc-picolinate as the most efficient form).
I consider this well worth a try. Read the details up on pubmed.

EDIT: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/mnfr.200600191
Info on the findings. Short version: Folate deficiency enhances the risk of developing cancer, but once you have cancer, it slows down tumor growth.

Please keep hands off "magic" substances like MMS (miracle mineral supplement - natrium chlorite) and the likes, it's just some kind of poisoning that activates (and later exhausts) the immune system.

Yes, i already answered you before about my mistake, sorry. You can find it here
https://afcr.org/en/tumour-necrosis-factor-tnf-in-bananas-help-prevent-cancer/

I am not trying to call you out on your mistake, even so you repeated it by quoting something from a linked document that isn't there. I have a suspicion you don't really read the content of the links you post.

The above linked article is quite contradictory or at least much exaggerating to the original research you linked.

While we're at it, you certainly have made sure that the patient to whom you recommend to eat bananas doesn't have any kidney disease or otherwise impacted kidney functions, otherwise the accumulated potassium could seriously hurt or even kill the patient (oh it also radiates nicely, as all Geiger Counter freaks know too good, but these are not problematic levels):

https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-34225517

For understanding what TNF is, I found these two links from the US National Center for Biotechnology Information:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19137269

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2631033/

From the above link:
Quote
In regard to cancer, TNF is a double-dealer. On one hand, TNF could be an endogenous tumor promoter, because TNF stimulates cancer cells’ growth, proliferation, invasion and metastasis, and tumor angiogenesis. On the other hand, TNF could be a cancer killer.

And from another link, that at least looks somewhat scientific since it lists sources for its claims:
Quote
Tumor Necrosis Factor and Bananas

Ripe bananas have no anticancer properties (that we know of). They do not contain Tumor Necrosis Factor. And, if they did, it would not matter. Because ingesting TNF would probably not increase your levels of TNF. TNF is a protein which, if ingested, would be broken down before it was absorbed. The likelihood of any intact protein being absorbed is so remote it is completely negligible. 1

So, where does this hopeful, yet absurd social media meme come from? The Japanese research mentioned in the message was a strange study done on rodents and published in a very obscure journal. These Japanese researches, for some reason, injected banana extract into the peritoneal cavity of rodents. If you’re wondering where this is located, just translate it as “they injected it into the abdominal lining.”

To everybody else: I apologize for derailing this thread so much, I'll STFU now.
I just couldn't let this 'Banana cures cancer' thing and poor source quoting let go uncommented. People with cancer should get all our support and our love, but we should really spare them from the occasional well meant ill-advice of how to cure it as long as we are not really really qualified to do so. We could give them false hopes or even bring them in additional danger out of thin air which I sincerely feel is not fair to them!
