I have updated my model to account for increased hash rate, which is pushing the halvening date forward. I modestly predict $12,100 on the halvening date. No need to be modest, hairy bairy... If not, he has said he will return my bet stake ... with interest If not, we will make him go missing! I’m going to do a runner with the 0.012 BTC0.012 BTCBig time player y’all! .012/.28 = .04285714 Don't knock 4.285714% progress towards leet status. There may well be many peeps who are really struggling to achieve such progress towards leet status free and clear... let's say 10 years from now... and maybe not even that long from now... remember there was that statistic about 50% of peeps having difficulties coming up with $400 for an emergency, so to own .012BTC, which may represent several thousands of dollars of value, free and clear, will still likely be out of touch from many normies who plan to fail by failing to plan.

A 20-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, traveled 400 miles(675 km) north to Anyang where she infected five relatives, without ever showing signs of infection, Chinese scientists reported on Friday, offering new evidence that the virus can be spread asymptomatically.
[...]
All five of her relatives developed COVID-19 pneumonia, but as of Feb. 11, the young woman still had not developed any symptoms, her chest CT remained normal and she had no fever, stomach or respiratory symptoms, such as cough or sore throat.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-health-study/wuhan-woman-with-no-symptoms-infects-five-relatives-with-coronavirus-study-idUSKBN20G00JItaly has now two deaths. Apparently the first infected had no symptoms. And now is negative to every test. People here are panicking. This means people are over reacting to rational risks. Of course this has layered implication, even on the economic side of the story.

Forget the lockdown you saw in China, but yes, some villages are on “limited lockdown”. I think it is a more “strong moral suasion” to stay at home rather than a true ban (in Italy we have laws, contrary to China).

1/ During the last two #Bitcoin BTC bull cycles, price bottoms and tops fluctuated around halving dates in an almost equal ratio. If this relationship were to hold true, we still have more than 570 days of bull market ahead of us, with a cycle top coming in around Sep 2021. https://twitter.com/CryptoKea/status/1230925037026381826?s=202/ It is still the big question whether Bitcoin´s bull and bear markets take longer each cycle or oscillate around halving cycles. While there are enough good reasons to suggest that cycles are lengthening over time and https://twitter.com/CryptoKea/status/1230925039194791936?s=203/ likely converge with macro cycles at some point in the future, imo, gravitation around halvings could still be maintained for a while, especially in the early adoption phase of Bitcoin (see #s2f model). While a sample size of two bull markets is by far too small https://twitter.com/CryptoKea/status/1230925040830631936?s=204/ to make any prediction, this relationship might eventually not be pure coincidence either (e.g. Stock-to-Flow driven hodl behavior could be one out of many reasons). We all know history never repeats itself … BUT it often rhymes. https://twitter.com/CryptoKea/status/1230925042386657280?s=20

But limited to some of the villages. I don’t know if it happened also elsewhere, but situation is quickly escalating and I see (read) panick in the streets. Trains being blocked, Chinese people being attacked and beaten on the streets. Link in Italian: https://www.quotidiano.net/cronaca/coronavirus-psicosi-torino-1.5041421

Expecting another big dump soon. Sentiment is too bullish. Also, going stir-crazy over here. If Britons don't start dropping dead soon I will be mighty annoyed. Even the eyeties can do it ffs.

We are too squeezed-in for really big moves. On one hand, dump to 8xxx looks like almost 100% sure thing, but so what... Surely we'll recover by April. No biggie.
