I think we still have to see the results of the CPI, if indeed the numbers are above the predictions it is very likely that bitcoin will go back down but if it is indeed below the predictions the possibility of $19k is possible I think.

CPI is posted a few post back.

We did a pivot and the first drop in 1 month since 2020.

So we wait on the fed for rate adjustment. I am thinking + 0.25 may be the next adjustment.

That should be a positive for BTC.

https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/fed-seen-delivering-quarter-point-hike-next-month-inflation-slows-2023-01-12/

so the prediction is now 0.25% hike

on Feb 1

looks like sideways with a slight rise from now to Feb 14

We then will speculate on the Cpi for late Feb.

if it is -0.1 like it was for Jan 12

we could see a zero or .25

All in all we may rally sooner rather than later.

Or not.

Oh tomorrow will be my 12th DCA buy.

So weird that considering the USA vs Russia proxy war taking place in Ukraine, NASA and the Russian space agency still work together.

Too bad this working together didn't become an instrument for peace on all fronts, permanently.  Cry

Regardless, hopefully the guys all get home safe.

$18.2k

I don't know... is it really a bull?

A bear in a bull disguise is the perfect meme for what is going on.

I reckon we are going to dump again to around 17.5K later today and probably further down throughout the year.

That's what she said.

Regardless if I am right, I think the stock market optimism we are seeing waiting on the CPI data from the USA is misplaced.
The fundamentals still suck:

That's true.

Job losses (banking sector only just starting), Europe mammoth energy price increases (in fact here in the UK much of the government support is going to disappear in the next several months making inflation worse again) - much of the wholesale costs have somewhat stabilised but parasitic energy companies will still take their increased cut - it will never be cheap again, Ukraine carry on still ongoing with no end in sight, China Covid spreading which will coincide with their new year celebrations (just like 3 years ago! Remember Nancy Pelosi encouraging people to come down to Chinatown?!), corrupt criminals in charge everywhere, unpayable government debts with rising interest rates making the interest nearly unpayable also, governments not facing reality and still announcing trillion dollar spending bills.

If people cannot access cheap debt and are having to tighten their belts, so should the governments. But this is not a popular move and with elections coming up in the next few years in the USA and UK I cannot see anyone changing course in the short term.

Fair enough.  but what about lillie fiend?  aka my lil precious?  aka king daddy?  aka dee honey badger?

What about that one?

In a normal world people would indeed escape to Bitcoin and dump their shitty going to zero fiat currencies.

Oh shucks.  You did remember lillie fiend.

But we are seeing the opposite happen when the shit hits the fan. And why?
Because we live in a:
🤡🌏
 Roll Eyes

Sure.. that's part of the answer.  What the fuck you expect?  All of a sudden we go from 1% lazer eyes to 80% lazer eyes?

Dee worlds no doesn't work like that.

The fact of the matter is that it takes a long time for consciousness to be changed and a lots of normies to actually realize the soundest of monies that the world has ever met.

Have you heard of dee cornz? You know what it is?  You know that information assymetry causes the price of dee cornz to be discounted for those peeps who actually realize where the long term and sustainable value actually is... You don't even need to know what the fuck is Gresham's law in order to end up following it... just like everyone will do, but they have to have some lazer eyes in order to actually keep their wee widdo eyes on the prize... it could take years and years and years...

In udder wurds.. we still early.  Hopefully you got's yourself some cornz, but in case you do not, you will still be ok to jump on the train later down the road. it will just cost you a bit more.. and surely the earlier ones are likely way better off than the later ones.. even the ones who started getting involved in the cornz at $69k in November 2021 are likely going to be way the fuck more advantaged (especially the ones who had a plan and continued to invest throughout the last year without getting shook from their cornz) than those who are just getting involved now or who have not even realized to get involved yet..

...because it tends to take a long time to even realize what dee cornz is, and experience both teaches resolve and also verifies resolve.. including figuring out that this is a long game that takes some patience for those who are ongoingly investing into the cornz and maybe even several years before getting to richie status.. or at least relatively more richie than if you had not gotten involved and seemingly way more likely to get to fuck you status too.... even if it is not guaranteed.. but imagine.. some newbie normie hardly knows nuttin about dee cornz who got into dee cornz in November 2021, did not get reckt, continued to study and learn and consistently stayed in BTC  with some kind of modest and reasonable plan (and perhaps even somewhat aggressive from time to time) until 2028 or later.. as compared with someone who did not.. or maybe as compared with someone who might have just gotten into dee cornz 3-6 years later or even later than that.. I would be willing to wager that the newbie normie who got into dee cornz earlier rather than later is very much likely to be much MOAR better off than the whimpy ones, the deniers, the fence sitters, the naysayers, the shitcoiners, and yeah those other compatriots will likely be able to get in later.. but I doubt that they are going to catch up to the one who got in earlier, even if the one who got in earlier had gotten in at the top and had been studying dee cornz the whole time and improving upon his/her knowledge and conviction and actually practicing such plans rather than sitting on his/her hands and failing/refusing to take action while lulled to sleep by 9% yield on IBonds or some other fiat fantasy nonsense..

Proudhon predicted on Jan 9 we would fall back under 17k by Jan 14 and never have a 5 day stretch over 17k this year.

so the next few days are critical

Fuck proudhon... that donkey-breathed nincumpoop.

Oh tomorrow will be my 12th DCA buy.

Your DCA buy average going UPpity..

How does that make you feuwls?

Even if you are a seemingly late bloomer to DCAs, should have been more serious about these DCA buys in 2018, right?

Right?

Right?

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Another thing.. maybe this is pick on philip day?.. but decisions are made regarding cashflow.. and yeah.. you have a business to run.. so decisions are made in terms of the use of those kinds of cashflows, too.

right?

right?

right?

Just keep selling and doubling down each time..

Sooner or later you are bound to be korrect.  That's how Martingale betting strategy wurks.. ... doesn't uie-pooie not know nuttin?

Well the economists got that wrong as usual.

I'm not so sure inflation is going to keep going down at the rate it has done in the last few months.

The governments' policies just don't line up with what central banks are trying to do, in fact they are doing the opposite in most cases: spend, spend, spend.
We will see.
