Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?)

I am a Little Confused in The Activity and Posts calculation method. For Instance say that i Logged in an activity period that is a 2 week period and did a post will I Get 14 Activity Points Just to Do a Single Post?

Or I have to do more posts in that period to gain 14 activity points that is the max amount I can Get in a period. Because i was reading another thread

i will try to explain it to you :
so the next periode end on 27th of February to incresse your activity by 14 point you have to do at least 14 posts in tow weeks ( 03 February to 27 February ) . you cant get more then 14 activity in one period of time ( 2 weeks ) i hope my explanation is useful

You need only 1 post during 14 February to 27 February for 14 activity if you do this in every activity period then your activity will increase automatically

thanks for this list i found a couple other explanations but this one was the most clear.  Im sure there are tons of people such as myself looking for the path to move up on this site.

Correct.
But try to make useful posts in order to collect some merit so you can have access to the other ranks and don't get stuck as junior member forever.

No.  There is no other way to increase your rank.  You must spam the forum in order to increase your rank.  Good luck.

It used to be this but with the introduction of "merit requirements", it's going to be different time frames for each user (little update: forgot to mention with the exception of reaching a Jr. member rank).

Rank updates constantly. If you go back to the OP of this thread and read the first two lines you'll find out why you are going to remain a Member rank for some time to come.

Correct (that's a restriction for "Newbie" users only [Images in posts disabled for newbies] but you can lift that restriction by purchasing a "Copper Membership" [Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images]).
