We would have to see some GH/watt numbers, BUT the competition has 'about to ship' complete* systems that are 28nm.  They claim 400GH@850watts - also the kicker ~ under $5k USD  

IMO 55nm is dead before it ships.

We're still pretty far from watts/GH/s being a deciding factor. I'm more interested in how much faster Avalon's gen 2 actually is. If it's on par with other designs, I'd expect around 1GH/s per chip. That's about triple the current generation, and actually makes ROI possible.

Anyway, I requested a refund for my order (>4000 chips). If everyone does the same, it gives Steamboat some bargaining power. 10,000*6 is a lot of chips...

For now, I am still in.  Best case scenario is if Avalon ran out of 110 nm chips and replaces these orders with the 55nm chips.  How happy would that make everyone here?  I know I would be pleased. I could forgive Yifu then.

I'd like to see my refund now? i mean, he can ask for whatever compensation he wants. but he should at least start posting the refunds to bitsyncom and send those back to the ones who asked for it.
Should he / we get more compensation after, fine and dandy. I just dont want to sit and wait for a refund based on steamboat asking for compensation? (ask for much , get little, or worst case, we get the chips delivered that should have gotten refunded).

No reason to wait. Refund orders to yifu, process our refunds asap. (chip orders).
0902 we got word on refund. Forms were sent out and people have surely posted their details by now.

I think SB has earned our patience. Bitsyncom not so much. I'm about as convinced by their gen 2s as I am about a monarch. That may be generous though.

Terrahash has company and costomers visited them. So I am wondering if somebody can do the same (I did not meant to go at his house perents,lol)? Why to hide, he has do nothing wrong but he own a business where we purchased services. Also he speak in very official manner in third person. Somebody here, hero member can make an appointmant and make a visit. There is nothing wrong in that and I think a lot of people would be less fustrated.
He logs each and every day and does not post. Why? He does not care about any of our concerns, our questions regarding klondike specs, refund option and future? I just dont see why that is so hard? Even yifu talk to and answer "some" questions. If we are screwed then we should start to know, and time is to know!

He could still say exactly that... "still nothing guys, waiting for Yifu to respond, blah blah blah"... just level with us for F%@! sakes, talk to us like human beings and not customers. It is irritating that he was posting so much, answering questions, etc. when collecting money. We were still customers then, and still customers now. Now that things are getting rough we are getting the cold shoulder. Its getting a little aggravating.
