i am merge miner

Where is DevTome content now?  Need config infos listed there about block sigs

Do you include GRouPcoin and CoiLedCoin in your merge? How about UNObtanium?

Do you find GeistGeld's six-second block-target too fast to the point it messes with the efficiency of other coins if you merge it?

What software are you using for your merge?

Dear Devcoin miners,

I'm pleased to announce that all the file custodians are finally in sync and ready to hit round 100!

It is very important that you make sure that your node has the latest receiver_99.csv and receiver_100.csv files into the receiver/ folder, in advance to block 400000, otherwise the fallback reduction algorithm will keep halving the miners reward down to 2500 per block. If you can't find the files in your local copy of the blockchain, please manually download them from here:

http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/receiver_99.csv
http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/receiver_100.csv

You don't need to stop your node or perform any other action apart from downloading those files into the right place. Also, I recommend this because during round 98 many file custodians, for different reasons, had their mirrors offline temporarily or definitively. Your node needs the up-to-date list of file custodian mirrors in order to work correctly, and that can't happen automatically if the majority of mirrors are offline for too long.

Last but not least, there is a new pre-release of Devcoin awaiting for you in the official repository: https://github.com/devcoin/core/. It was a very long time since the last release, so you have another reason to give your merged miner setup some maintenance.

Thanks for your precious time and contributions to the Devcoin project!

Go go Devcoin!

@realdantreccia, @kickback, we have a brand new Telegram group where we can exchange feedback a bit faster, you are welcome to join if you wish:

Thank you, joined. Will come if anything is needed to contact you directly as opposed to PM here.

Dan, I’m new here, but I read most of your stuff and I’m wondering if you’re currently on any antipsychotic drugs to manage your delusional psychosis?   Grin

Here’s hoping you’re the right kind of crazy cause I bought some DVC cause of you.  Wink

Welcome to round 100!

The fallback reduction is finally away starting from block 400000, so we are back on track!!

It means that the new file custodians were accepted by the majority of miners. Also, according to our block explorer 25% of the network is running the latest Devcoin pre-release (v0.8.6). Let's see what happens with an official release!

Now I want to acknowledge not only the file custodians, but everybody running the Devcoin blockchain. Everybody might have different interest, but you all have an inspiring loyalty for what you do! Kudos to you for that  Smiley

Exceptionally new.  Haha, I like this guy.

We’d love to have you.  What about throwing in ixc in the merge mine mix then?  How much hash do you expect to put on it.  Thanks.

Absolutely interested. If I even have a say. Seems kinda like fate to get on an up and coming exchange for a population that probably is dying for a way to do business with the outside world. I forget who it was, but there was an Iranian user on steemit who ended up posting here about trying to run a devcoin wallet in the past year. So there's some interest from within the country already.

Go for it guys. I posted more on the admin board about possibilities. Thanks for the offer parsicoin, I think it seems like a good place for DVC.

Probably if someone successfully executes a trade there should write a short "how-to" guide (about how they found relevant pair, executed an order, and "withdrew" the "real" assets) and post it here.

Somebody wrote the following guide:
https://steemit.com/devcoin/@satoshi0x/how-to-buy-sell-dvc-using-stellar

I invite everyone who goes through steps 1-9, and optional step 13, to provide feedback here.

Btw, apparently there is an app as well:

https://interstellar.exchange/#download

Contacted markm already about following through on 13 to complete the process. I'll write a finished tutorial for that exchange. Where would you like me to post that on Steemit? New topic or in comments? Edit original? (would probably be seen by less eyes if I just edited, if we're trying for exposure)...

Not sure what you will be writing about exactly (and which you haven't mentioned already in that blog post). I guess if it's generally about trading there (app or web client or both) on that exchange (even if you were using DVC tokens as an example of one side of the trades), then I think you could make a Steemit post, open a new thread on this forum and in that new thread link to the Steemit post and perhaps explain what the post is about and link to it, then in this thread link to that new thread.

If you are going to add minor details to the web client trading, then I guess just edit the existing steemit post and notify us here about changes, and wherever else it was posted (perhaps even in comment section of that blog post).

Note there is a character limit on Steemit posts (not sure how much).

IOcoin is not I0Coin.

Whacha know about BURST? I hear that's pretty popular in the Eastern Hemisphere.

Maybe tell that to yourself in the mirror since you made the same error in your blogs.

Just a short post on how to trade with mark for DVC in exchange for the DVC tokens I bought on Interstellar Exchange. So It would be short. It's not very hard to explain. Just need to get the details from mark, send him back DVC tokens to whichever Stellar address he asks for them to be sent to and then give him one of my Devcoin - Wallet addresses.  You said you wanted someone to write about 13, and I will probably buy more DVC using STELLAR platform so I might as well finish the tutorial for those who want to know how that works (getting real DVC for DVC on STELLAR).
