Hi,
I am a batch 2 sierra customer still waiting for my order (2434) to come in, but i haven't received anything since the address confirmation e-mail.
Batch 2 babyjets have been dispatched but i haven't seen anyone receive a sierra yet.
i have been e-mailing around to see if anyone else has had their orders yet, and the latest order no. was Batch 2 - 2314 - confirmation e-mail sent out on 02-02 received the BJ on 07-02 in Italy without the upgrade chip.
It seems there are Sierras, maybe just not for you.

Yes, we're mining, though we've only recently (last 24h) been able to stabilize at a measurable, relevant rate of around 50Th/s (after the latest f/w:20140205-0 aka 0.3 and cgminer 3.12.3 updates). DT will post details on where (addresses) those proceeds are going, I shared it with him earlier.

ok, i haven't seen any batch 2 customers receive their sierra's yet.

Did anyone actually successfully set up arbitration with them?
Setting up an arbitration with them is a really simple process, that can be done online as well in the case of AAA. That's not the problem. The problem is that they will continue to ignore you as well, even if you enter in a binding arbitration with them.

By the time that the arbitrator gets you your award, they will probably have closed shop or something.

This is why i love how Morici's lawsuit calls them in as individually responsable, and not only for the LLC companies.

Haven't really been keeping up with bitcointalk, what's been going on with these guys? IceDrill was supposed to be at 1Ph and now they're at 50Th/s? What % of hardware have these guys shipped, would you estimate?

5% of IceDrills order, somewhere around 50 to 90% of Batch 1 BabyJets (don't know how many took the refund), few Batch 2 BabyJets, 0% MPP.
How much is that? Roll Eyes

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

Did you see the posts where a Hashfast employee was giving out fake names in sales calls to prospective customers and using the same phone number to make HashFast sales calls as they did to book appointments for their prostitution side business?  That tells you about everything you need to know.

Too bad you can't prove it.

If Bitstamp goes to 250$ and they refund instantaneously the USD value it would be a 40%-something loss... Almost acceptable...

The last thing I heard about the upgrades was the info from hf-engineer, I think you know this already.

Guys, I asked about the upgrade kits and MPP and was told there were no MPP or upgrade kits ever offered in batch one.  So apparently just because your BJ system was batch one, doesn't mean additional boards would be in the same batch.

That's all I could find out, but it made sense to me even if it's not good news.  Batch 2 orders are now being fulfilled, so if your upgrade kit is in B2, you should be able to expect it soon.

And, probably another HF management excellence achievement:

Logistics is not my area, but I think that the delay might be the cooling system.  Apparently the supplier sent cooling systems with hoses that are too short to fit the BJ chassis second radiator location, so there's no way to cool a second board until new ones arrive.  That's probably why there is a delay, but again, not my department.

I know production is working smoothly now, so it shouldn't be long.

I suppose CoolIt sent what HF ordered, but hey, its again only some more customer ROI going through the chimney, so WTF.

So the delay on why upgrade chips are not shipped is that they got a tube that is too short to fit? And they couldn't ship the board alone, asking the clients to buy a cooling system or wait for theirs to arrive, right? Cheesy

I mean, if HF_ENG believes the bullshit the company tells him, maybe he is not actually an engineer.

This guy seems legit to me, and he is doing a great job over at the HF users thread.

Its probably simple: they ordered an amount of cooling units and nobody thought about ordering different tubeing for the upgrade modules. So they go on with the normal order queue and build the upgrades as soon as the right cooling systems come in.

3rd person: "But shouldn't there be a compensation for the delay caused by your mistake and all the lost hashes? These upgrade modules value is maybe the half now with this delay."

HF: laughs "Hahaha, no! Batch 1 and 2 customers are so f*cked up already, that this little cherry missing on the topping doesn't make any difference for them."

It still doesn't make sense in any way you try to read it. You don't delay a money printing machine because you miss a fancy control panel. A cooling system isn't anything that can't be bought on a well furnished local shop.

I guess that they will have to find better excuses in front of an arbitrator.

They don't delay them, they simply use them for the normal BJ orders.

HF started shipping in mass 25 days ago. As far as we know they shipped Batch 1 (600 boards) + pre-retail + something of batch 2 (looks like that icedrill received "nothing", right?). Around 50 boards per day. It's quite a low number, they are no where near where they should be with the scalable supply chain that they promised us.

So i really wouldn't say that they are simply using the boards to satisfy other customers, rather, they are doing whatever pleases them the most, because they can.

The deadline for the legal route of batch 2 was two days ago. I guess that no one went on, right?

So why should they care about shipping on time?
