Just this thread? Don't you mean the forum? Here watch this for creep factor.

Any slips here for your lawsuits?

Q:  "What have you learned from BFL labs?"
A:  "...a lot..."

Are the boards and cases sourced already for the chips to be assembled into?
Yes.
To be more verbose...
Similar to what we did with Uniquify, we have been working extremely closely with both the board manufacturer / assembly house, and with the company that will be assembling the finished Baby Jets and Sierras.

We are in daily, often hourly contact with them.

I'll request pix.

in restrospective, how could this contacting have acted out?

"Wassup dude!"
"Not much, dude. You?"
"Same. Call back in a hour."

Maybe too much of such contacts annihilated all their resources and nobody had time to do real work.

Sorry but there a shit load to read and I'm cheating by asking.

First batch didn't got shipped. The deadline for the second batch is getting closer by the second and at this point they could miss it. At least partially.

They are issuing USD refunds of the eq amount when you ordered, but only if you purchased with BTC. you have to sign a treat with the devil if you want an USD refund and you paid with USD, basically giving up every right you had.

Meanwhile IceDrill has received several/4 working units.

Just got in, here in dive into my favorite thread in the whole wide world. Can't wait to read what's the latest. Meanwhile, a phone number to offer up: 415-577-5523. It was gleaned from http://pdf.secdatabase.com/1272/0001584096-13-000002.pdf. Care to guess whom it belongs to? Go ahead! Take a guess. Here's a clue: http://lists.sillylittlecars.com/pipermail/silly_little_cars-sillylittlecars.com/2011-May/003685.html Oddly, nobody has mentioned it before, at least according to Google.

Can some US forum member call and check if 415-577-5523 is still Simon Barber's private number, he gave it in May 2011, so it can be outdated. If it is, maybe we can get some info what is he thinking about all this.

PS: Bonus points awarded if you can identify what's wrong with the following sentence: "Having spent 9 yrs of my own higher educational life in the Bay Area, a new Silicon Valley/Palo Alto based mining development team peaked my interest."

In addition to using the wrong "peaked", the sentence uses the phrase "Having spent ...[time in]..the Bay Area," to describe a development team instead of describing the author of the sentence.

"Having lived in the Bay Area for nine years, I found myself drawn to a Palo Alto development team" is the correct structure.

If there are any bonus points left, please have them sent to me as Crashfast common stock.

Gotta love this quote at ~4:45: "We plan on being in this game for many years to come." Read: "We fucked people in the past, and HashFast ISN'T our second iteration in that field. Wait till you see how we fuck people in the future now that we're flush. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've gotten myself pretty excited with all this talk about fucking people."

Nice catch! Any lawyer worth his salt would love this info. BTW, according to http://www.bitcoinsingapore2013.com, the conference was held on Nov. 15, 2013, when the interview was taken. The 25th is only when the video was uploaded to YouTube.

I would say Skropenis was laying outta his ass if he didn't have it plugged with LDJ.

Would you consider taking PlayPenCash?

If not, what about Kink Coins?:

Someone needs to go to CES and stand in front of their booth with these pictures and information to hand out to anyone who stops by their booth. Doubt anyone is going to give money (for bitcoin devices at least) to a prostitute.

Anyone in vegas? I'll pay.

Of course, if a potential customer is into getting raped via role play with a prostitute, then all bets are off, and the customer wins regardless if s/he receives a HashFast product or not.

That's some expensive role play

Maybe they'll accept Kink Coins.

To be clear, I've shown two instances of BT forum member 526c3f277cb1 being closely aligned with the marketing team of HashFast prior to HF becoming formally formed: Once by two days, and once by over a year (Nov. 1, 2012).

Wasn't it surprising to see who the only poster was that replied to that particular thread?

It's uncanny that cypherdoc posted in that thread. I don't feel quite so bad now for trusting my gut that something was "off" with Hashfast when he started shilling so hard for them at the onset.

You should be feeling good, your gut saved you from further aggravation. To be honest, the whole show was off-putting for me. When looking at KNC it sounded like a genuine effort and you could tell the team was composed of people that knew what they were doing, not so much here where it was more marketing than anything else.

People forget that while you can have another company build the chip for you, you have to build/take care of everything else mostly by yourself and that takes considerable effort and expertise. If you don't have that expertise in house you will end up subcontracting just about everything and you will run into issues. Then, when you run into issues and you have multiple parties involved you end up like this.

Having reviewed a lot of the web crumbs left in many places by Kottmeier (and I do believe that his real name is Abram Kottmeier***), my impression is that he's a serial liar who probably has generally led a very pathetic and modest life. All that marketing crap that he was involved in is just another scam, and the way to get "ahead" doing it seems to be encouraging others with lies about income from it.  Don't believe crap like "making $45k a month" for a second.  I don't personally know any people that apparently work(ed) as hourly male prostitutes, but I have a hard time believing that one would continue to turn tricks with random people, risking arrest and disease, if you actually had an income of over US $500,000 a year from legitimate and safe sources. As to whether or not he really has a wife and daughter, I'm not sure, although I tend to think not.

But this guy is just some two bit hustler who has spent his life moving from one shady business to another, and who might of spent some time in jail. He frankly doesn't seem to be worth of much respect.  He's spent too much time lying, too much time trying to personally gain at the expense of others. He's a lowlife.
