Someday people will understand that bitcoin is overpriced and ethereum is much more better as currency and as an asset. But the main problem ethereum have no enough trust...

I don't think so, Ethereum will not overtake Bitcoin, because bitcoin will still be the leading and the first and original bitcoin of all, if in the case eth is now good place and promising and has potential to be great but still it can never replace bitcoin, it already been proven over a years that despite it high and low position bitcoin still has it powerful influence and effect in the crpto currency world and as of now no one can beat it.

I think the this will happen in anytime in the future! The real bitcoin as speak is always going to have more trust as compare to other coins and ETH specially. This trust will always keep building more and more investors and crypto enthusiast in the favour of bitcoin leading to ultimate investment into bitcoin. So you see here, the weightage for the bitcoin will be always higher as compared to the ETH. Im completely in favour with the ETH as good investment but it always comes after the BTC.

We cannot say that for now because we all know bitcoin is the main coin in this crypto world. Ethereum have long way to over the bitcoin. Maybe in the future it will happen that but there's a lot of circumstances before that happen. |

We have heard this one before, not sure how long this notion will keep going and as far as I know if the devs keep improving how bitcoin works bitcoin could remain on the top for a very long time and with what we keep hearing about lightning network this overtake might to come.

This is unlikely to happen, at least in 2018. There is too much price difference between bitcoin and ethereum. Yes, ethereum as a very promising coin this year should go into good growth. Ethereum can overtake bitcoin but it will not overtake bitcoin this year. It will take a long time for it to overtake Bitcoin.

I can't imagine ethereum overtaking Bitcoin, Firstly Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currency, the growth of Bitcoin partially determine the growth of other alternate currency.

You are right about Ethereum unique smart contract platform, but I don’t.t think this would be enough. I am sure, that Ethereum will not overtake Bitcoin, because demand for Bitcoin is raising and so is its price. Ethereum has some competition on the horizon and this can have negative effect. |

I do think one day we will see this, but I imagine it will be quite far in the future. Bitcoin still is the name for cryptocurrencies to the general public. I think it will take years for ETH to change this.

I think Etherum cant overtake the bitcoin because bitcoin is the primary digital currency. Bitcoin has perspective more than the ETC. The price of bitcoin is far away from the amount of the ethereum. Ethereum needs more around USD 8k to overtake the price of the bitcoin. We know that ETC is smart contract token. I guess that Bitcoin Cash can exceed the ETH. But At the end still the bitcoin the most powerful among all the altcoins

I don't agree with you. Bitcoin is on the top of everything and I don't think this is going to change soon. And Ethereum already have some competition, mostly NEO, but others as well. |
