PAYPAL is now open for Batch 2. You can find it here: http://www.minersource.net/bitfury-drillbit-system/4579443198Bobsag and metal_jacke1 will be handling the paypal orders. The way it works is you will be paying them via paypal and they will be sending me the BTC and filling in a form on our orders page ( http://drillbitsystem.com/order.html) with your details in it. The order will only count as being placed once i receive the BTC and the completed form. Please be aware that you are paying to a third party and trusting them to handle your order. You can however trust them. I do. Bobsag is John K. verfied. They are both running professional operations and will not scam you. In the event of a payment issue, please contact both myself, bobsag and metal_jacke1 and we will sort it out. If you do desire a refund for whatever reason, please contact us rather than paypal. While i'm here, i'd also like to mention that is you are interested in hosting for your miners, bobsag is offering an excellent deal for hosting in his facility. You can find details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=288012Regarding Batch 2, if you are considering buying into it and holding back until it gets closer to completion, i urge you to place your order. If everyone holds back, the order will not be completed. Lets get this thing moving. Barntech

Hey there Barntech, Bobsag
Just calculated my shipping for 8 thumbs and my boards which comes to a shade over 1kg. giving an express delivery cost of $85. Is there an option on bobsag's site to pay just postage?
Thanks

Hey Vulgar. Haven't got a shipping via paypal option through the Miner Source site just yet. Will have a look at getting that happening. Generally trying to keep batch one and batch two separate though. At this stage our preferred payment method for batch one postage is BTC, but if you are only able to pay via paypal, that can be arranged. We are still able to accept paypal payments directly but would very much rather not.

Wow the paypal option is MUCH higher than the BTC option. In the last buy, I paid $10 more per a board via paypal. This time its $35 per a board.
I'm afraid I'll have to just buy the btc and use that for this transaction. I guess that's one way to encourage buying BTC direct instead of paypal. I hope this doesn't drive off people interested in paypal. I know it would for me.

Well the increase is to cover: Chargebacks, paypal fees + paypal >BTC conversion. Its really very fair if you think about how much work has to go and how much risk there is going from money > paypal > btc But upon looking at it, looks like its still a tad high. He might have just typo'ed. We arent trying to pull a cyptx here

I certainly understand charging more for paypal and I feel you would be doing a disservice to yourself if you did not. The fees and risk are higher. $35 per a board was just a bit too high .

I have to wait for metal_jacke1 to get back on... the 3 dam days he needs to not be buisy are ofc the days he cant be on the entire day. EDIT: Those are the correct prices that barn, josh and I came to last night. Sorry if it seems high, but charge backs can cripple our ability to refund anyone.

The increase in the Fiat price on our site is due to the fee Paypal charges us (2.9%) plus conversion fees to btc, and the liabilities we take on by accepting fiat. Further, we are providing a service by accepting fiat as payment for goods that are normally accepted via btc.

Hi Barntech, Will delivery payments be available in both BTC and PaPal also? (I have some BTC coming in the next few days from the Avalon debacle and wondered if we have to pay with the same method as we did for the boards.) Also, we don't have any order #'s (Queue numbers) yet. That might make it easier to tie shipping payments to our orders and also let us know where we stand in the queue. Thanks for your hard work and availability through this. Really makes a difference. It's about sharing

BTC = Black Swan. BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.
