Did you at least pm barntech as well. I figured thats the best way they'll notice. Barntech did say they'd be out for 36 hours. A lot can be buried in that time.

True, techman05.

I sent funds to cover my heatsinks yesterday too, and PMed BT.  Not that I require any confirmation or anything for it. But, hopefully people benefiting from it are generally putting in their bit for the good deal on offer! Smiley

No I just want to not tempt fate and find out posting our confirmations is whats got the spammers on the other page up and fighting. I don't know bit coin in the way you might. Posting a confirmation is like posting your email address publicly and both friend and foe can take advantage of that information.

Transaction ID's and even wallet Addresses can't really be used for any bad purposes... Unless you give away your Private Key.  That's a big no-no.

Even spamming the FBI's holding wallet for the seized Silkroad funds with transactions+snarky messages (which has been happening since the arrest of DPR) is just essentially like wrapping a gold nugget with a nasty message and tossing it at them.   Hell, if anyone wants to insult me like that, my donation addresses are in my Sig Wink

Am hoping a few more jumps like this and the big boyz will call time. We can stay solvent longer then they can.

I think its time to stop further purchases of mining gear thou.
Hard for BT unless he can really slash costs.
At least most of the 8 chip boards are sold.
The thumbs should still sell once there in stock as they are entry level devices.

As I originally didn't want to pay extra for the heatsink (since I am a cheap bastard lol)
I made a bet yesterday for some free money that I sent over to ya.

Now think of what would happen if everyone did this.... Basically everyone would get free heatsinks and Barntech would get his payment anyway.
Only problem is not everyone is as good at betting as I am.  Cool

Seems to be a lack of progress reports on that board.

Hello.

I'm back. Thank you everyone for the heatsink payments. Nice to see that happening. Much appreciated.

Progress report on the 8 board is this: All the chips are working at nice speeds individually. Still ironing out the code to get them all running at full speed together. It's happening, our guys are on it. The 12v proto board is built and we will be testing tomorrow morning. Once we have verified that it is working, we will be all set to send the 8 boards to manufacture, almost definitely the 12v version, unless there is something wrong with it, which is very unlikely. We should be getting the boards back ready to send out by the end of the week.

The thumbs will also be going out this week.  Smiley

Hey,

So if we go for the 12v, the connectors on the boards will remain 4 pin molex, but the connectors on the miniplanes and doubles scrolls will change to 6 pin molex. On the miniplane, probably only one will be required, but we may put 2 on just to make sure you'll get enough power. The double scroll will have 2 for sure. This means for all you ex GPU mine heads, your giant PSU will potentially be able to run four double scrolls.

Here's a picture of the 6 pin molex connector.

And just for the sake of it, here is a picture of my old GPU rig. R.I.P .... Soon to rise again Drillbit styley!  Cool

Thanks Barntech  Cool

So,no 5 volt needed at all,if you go with 12 volt,so I can make 4 pin molex's with or without 5 volt leads.More confusion,I know  Cheesy
