Does it show your reward for the last block? I think maybe it just shows after the 120 confirmations have been done.

And I can't figure out where that stupid error is coming from...

This is very highly formalized guessing. It should work though. Basically if it gets the LP for the current block from deepbit first and no other blocks apis go down b/c they found a block it assumes it is from deepbit. Same thing for btcguild if you set that up. It will slice deepbit until another block is found by someone else.

ok to be clear.. it is either deepbit or btcguild and not both.. or will it assume the block is either deepbit or btcguild and mine them both?

Um actually you can do both. If it gets the LP from btcguild first it mines btcguild. If it gets the Lp from deepbit first it mines deepbit. It only will only mine one based on a guess.

not sure if i can test kiwi since their website only says

'CONTENT_LENGTH'

so magnet.,. your mine slush test.. I'm guessing when it is set to mine you also set penalty is 4 times?

Penalty isn't set, so it's 1.0 at the moment.

Today I'm hopping for exactly a week and I should have earned 11 Bitcoins, but I earned 12 and there are stil some not paid yet because the round hasn't finished (small pools).
It will take another week to be sure but I think it works Smiley

What MHash do you run at?

Wait, how does one mine BTCguild like mentioned above? I have it set to mine and am using --startLP but it says error in API info. for btcg...
I looked at the pools.cfg and it seems to want round_shares...then I go look at the actual api info from btcg and that stat is missing...

Also, what do I enter in the editable "payout" field for the web stats page?

Set btcguild role to mine_deepbit.

Oh and the payout is what money you have been paid at the pool. It is for doing efficiency calculations.

c00w, this software is really coming along.  I haven't even been using it 2 weeks, and I am shocked at how much it has evolved in this short of a time.  Good job

Does the amount of pools I have set up / specified in user.cfg affect the way --startLP and deepbit mining works?

Um not really. Its better to set pools to info instead of disable as long as their API works so that we don't mine on deepbit when those servers find a block.

@paraipanakos
I accidentally turned on some getwork debug statements. I'll move them over to debug.

So, for all the backup pools I should make accounts and set them to just info? Does the more "info" specified pools help deepbit mining?

Or at least make sure all the "bigger" pools have "info" on them? since they are more likely to find blocks then the tinier pools?

The suspense is killing me waiting for the first report on whether deepbit mining is working and the related efficiency rating.  This is something that might make me switch back to bithopper from Cherrypicker.  Deepbit vs bitclockers . . . . .

I drink it up!

Um, I just switched a bunch of pools to be info without setting up associated acounts & passwords. A bunch of them worked. So if you don't want to have to deal with it, don't.

you think you do better with cherry picker just with bitclocker?.. i still make decent over there. but i dont get to mine as much as i would like.
c00ws seems to have faster development and more pools and I havent quite figured out making my own cherry pickers pool configs too well.,

anyways you know if deepbit works.. cherry wont be far behind adding it.
