Thanks for the update!

Different question:
The API rate limit, is this limited per API key or per account?
or per ip?

USD Deposits Temporarily Disabled

In order to lighten the burden on USD withdrawals and speed up the process, we're offering a 2% bonus for users willing to convert their USD balances to EUR balances. You may then trade EUR or withdraw EUR. EUR withdrawals are generally processed within 1 business day. If your bank only supports USD, withdrawing EUR to it will likely result in a < 1% conversion fee. Please contact us for details.

but how can I convert my USD Balances in EUR Balances? I see no options on Kraken for this operation

Did you miss the "Please contact us for details" at the end of the paragraph you quoted?

I did... how should I contact you to get details? I have already a one month old Service Request opened for this USD withdraw transfer.

Well, first of all, you shouldn't contact me, because I know as much as you do ^^

But my guess would be to just open a new support ticket.

Not a Dogeophile - but I'm happy with the asset being added to Kraken.

Have you guys seen the update on kraken? Doge can now officially be traded there.

I'm sure it will attract new customers and stuff but geez.. How can a serious exchange add such a terrible coin? Huh

Let us know that you want to convert to EUR by replying to your support ticket (or open one if you don't already have one). You can also PM me with your ticket number.

Announcement: currently the exchange rates for digital currency deposits and withdrawals are 10x what they should be. This means that currently users can only deposit or withdraw 10x less than they should be able to. We are working on the issue and will have it fixed as soon as possible. If you have a deposit held for going over limit due to this issue, it should correct itself once things are fixed, but if not, please create a ticket about it. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone.

@Dargo

has this already been fixed?
If not, can you explain how much I am able to deposit / withdraw in BTC
when you look at my current limits:

Does it mean I can max. deposit / withdraw 10% of btc24.09347 , which would be btc2.40934

Thanks for clarification

Kraken is the most liquid BTCEUR market! (30-day volume)
By market I mean one where you can deposit and withdraw both fiat and coins Tongue.

It's been fixed. The reduced limit would display, so as long as the limit that is displayed for you makes sense, there's nothing to worry about.

Turded.

So a "serious" exchange only offers "serious" coins? By what criteria does a coin count as serious? The answer to this question is bound to be controversial, but note that dogecoin has:

  • Massive userbase
  • 65k+ subscribers on reddit
  • Hashrate rivaling that of litecoin
  • Trade volume rivaling that of litecoin

Whatever may be said against dogecoin, the fact is that it has gained traction very rapidly and become a very serious coin for trading. Why wouldn't a serious exchange want to offer it? We are after all in the trading business.

GBP is coming, but please don't hold your breath for it. It's still going to be a while and we don't have an ETA at this time.

Dargo,

I have a suggestion hopefully to make your plateform even nicer:
Could you show a warning when a limit order is placed at a price inconsistent with the orderbook (above if buying, below if selling). For instance, instead of a green button to comfirm the order, the button would be red with a small warning in brackets.

Writting a wrong price happens sometimes Wink

A websocket tops my personal feature request list. Can't wait for that.  Cheesy

But unfortunately I don't have any update or ETA at this time. I will, however, raise this issue with the devs once again and see what I can do to advance the priority on it.
