If you have been using block eruptors and GPUs then you haven't actually been in the mining business for a while. No not that long, I started in October last year. It was profitable enough that I decided to go all-in and get some real hashing power in November. It's now June and I'm up Shit Creek without a paddle. Maybe should have sold those block erupters and gpus in recent months and got some Antminers.

We've got an industry here where customers of the companies involved are the competition and are being dealt with accordingly.
agreed, this seems to be how a portion of the industry is acting, but you shouldn't brand the entire industry with the same brush. There are companies out there who will bend over backwards to make sure their customers needs and requirements are fulfilled. To me, BA still looks like a long scam.

Ordered the Viper from Alpha Tech and now BA is slow in delivering my X3. Life is all about choices and I've made some bad ones earlier.

I think at the moment there are some realistic concerns that Black Arrow should address for its customers.
The first is the mystery surrounding compensation and the extra PSU's and shipping charges. If they are that close to shipping as they say, this needs to be addressed. People need to know what they need to know. David and anyone else that monitors this forum should start to ask about this, because while shipping is important, people want to be sure they have ordered the necessary hardware and paid the shipping if that is what is needed. Or if Black Arrow intends to compensate people further by including those things in the release, they need to let people know who have already purchased the PSU's and are now wondering if that was a mistake.
This needs answering. It's important.
The obvious requests for further compensation above and beyond what was already promised is warranted based upon Black Arrow's own promise to match the value of what they ship vs the competitor's shipping. This was not just mentioned way back in 2013, but also recently. Black Arrow intends to live up to that promise, so if they make their shipping dates as expected, it's time to state what it is they intend to do. People want to know, not just out of interest, but also because as miners we make strategic purchases to keep our hash-rate up. If we're going to get more or less hash from Black Arrow, we need to know so we can plan our next moves.
So it's time now for Black Arrow to discuss their compensation plan to live up to this promise, or just admit that they cannot afford to do more than they have, and live with the consequences. The issue isn't going to go away, but it could bring about better customer morale if we hear about what the plan is going forward.
There are other questions on the table, but these two are the most important in my mind. A lot of us have been very patient (A few of us have not been) and it's time for Black Arrow to provide the needed information. Nobody wants to get a box in the mail with missing parts due to lack of information.

I finally can end this nightmare for the experience with BA... I got my refunds by BTC the amount I paid for my order last year. yes,in my heart it's not fair,but some better than none...
I will never do preorder anymore,mining is the lessness and meaningless work in the world... (I have to say,it's shame that I still ming...I think I will end mining when my miner can't mine any more because of the high diff..even that I can never got my money back and make any profit with the miner.) good luck everyone! hope all you can got want you want.. for the customers here,I want to say,we all are victims...we are cheated by this bitcoin game..wake up !!! go for your work , go for your friends and family ...forget about bitcoin if you can got out of this stuff like me now...

Reading this, im guessing they are mining full steam ahead with OUR products.. !!!!!!!! who knows...I can't have even one reason to trust BA anymore.. .there are not trust , no honor, no reputations no any good quality as a human beings. in the bitcoin world.....all here are kills ,greedy,lazy,steal....bitcoin even can make a good person to bad... sorry to say that every bitcoiners..that is my real feel after all this from last year... maybe I will back to bitcoin when it back to 2009...the real it is...

It's Tuesday evening in China so if MS is to receive it by Friday it should be out the door by now. Somehow I feel we aren't going to get any confirmation on this though. They'll tell us in the Thur... Friday update.
