I am going to try the waters with converting 4 x-1 units into 3 technobit boards. Wish me luck!
Brother I am with ya. I am swapping 2 x3's as we speak. I had to get a loan for the $13k conversion to 200 chips. But then, I bought 4th/s and they made it 6th/s and now with the chips and additional money, its 25 th/s. This seems good to me.. am I wrong? 200 chips is 20 TH/s, not 25. I hope that doesn't douse your campfire. Actually around 22 - 24 TH/s depends on the luck. From Black Arrow, maybe, but these MartoMiners TM are doing a pretty steady 400 GH/s. I haven't seen one go higher. Can anyone refute this? They go up to 120 per chip but the power consumption is going up I like MartoMiners TM BTW Is there a recommended standoff to use for the boards? Plastic about 2.5 cm to get airflow under the boards.

400 Chips have arrived here as of this morning, looks like X1s are tomorrow.
May I ask how many X1's you are going to receive tomorrow?

been lurking the forums from time to time checking the status on things. didn't mind the delays so much cause i expected them (some delays at least), all the "next week" crap made me lol a bit and reminded me of bfl / josh witch made me think about jumping ship. but i stuck through it anyways. but seeing them send out orders to resellers that are about 1 - 2 months behind me in queue did it for me.
cancel`ing and getting s3`s instead...

many orders were placed and paid long before the resellers jumped on the train. somehow i hope they let all the x-3`s hashing 24/7 so we can get our money back. thats the saddest theatre i ve been sitting in :/

This is well fucked, all the resellers are getting their miners before people who ordered before the actual resellers were around.
My order was back in Sept! My order is mid 30's why the fuck has it not been shipped?
Why are BA ignoring their direct customers?
These shitty miners are going straight to eBay if I ever fucking get them.

It's just a shame those of us who ordered and paid before your customers can't say the same I recall they actually originally stated that orders were going to be fulfilled in the order they were paid. +1 - shipped in order of payment. irrc

It is interesting that they are still trying to control information by deleting posts. this thread, after a good scrubbing of many posts that tell another story, is just one big happy family, and BA treats it's customers just like this quote from this article http://bitcoinexaminer.org/alex-berk-black-arrow-as-soon-as-14nm-is-available-well-release-a-new-asic-that-will-outperform-any-other-14nm-designs/"We understand that the relation between a vendor and customers has to be win-win. We are trying to address this by guaranteeing our customers that we’ll do everything we can to protect their investment. We will do this through offering the best technology available, aggressive pricing, limiting the number of ASICs that we put on the market in order to give everybody a fair chance of recovering their investment and earn money." when you look at that ^^^ through the lens of the reality of the last few months I think it's nothing short of hysterical. or this little tidbit: "We don’t aim to make any profit from the first batch of ASICs and our sole target is to cover the manufacturing costs. We funded more than 70 percent of the project ourselves. We can obtain the remaining 30 percent from various investors, but their conditions increase the price of our products. We wish to give our customers the opportunity to benefit of low prices while helping us complete this project." so if all of this is investment money, where is people's money Black Arrow and why are you not issuing refunds and why are you dumping a ton of ASICS into the market in direct contrast to these comments? This will directly hurt your customers that take delivery of your now overpriced miners, which you obviously know, as you've already commented on not doing this in order to 'give everybody a fair chance'? my, oh my, once you start peeling the onion...... +1 sounds like history is going to repeat itself.. o now wait they don't have to desige a backplate anymore we funded all that

4. To cover time used to refund this order, for each transfer needed to be made, we will charge 50 USD and all 3rd party fees. In some cases, we might also need to charge a further 30 USD handling fee for each incorrect or incomplete transfer information provided by the customer.
taking 80 bucks to cancel an order? they cant be serious lol
