Gett rid of all of them except the supernode.

I would love to get your coins but I am not comfortable swapping files on the internet. Im sure we can help you out. Please check the cryptocointalk forum.

I have never heard of that message thats weird.

Try upgrade command from the console Im not sure if the MSI is up to date.

Im doing the best I can to help you but my knowledge is limited Smiley

Edit: I have posted to cryptocointalk for you

From cryptocointalk:

Usually the line addnode=supernode.gridcoin.us should be enough to get in sync

At the moment I'm connected to the following peers:
92.6.246.58
46.165.208.140
76.92.169.120
31.186.136.61
72.208.65.226
216.58.10.137
93.206.14.232
46.151.86.202
70.177.77.243
58.215.133.20
71.252.157.251
88.100.124.144
180.126.125.8
87.222.23.241
211.31.218.18
68.190.135.59
114.215.170.14
113.0.62.184
74.78.219.253
62.116.254.204

Make sure that he is using the latest version of gridcoin classic (2.1.5.6. version 171). To make sure there is no hickup in setup backup the config and wallet, uninstall and delete all files and folders related to gridcoin except wallet and conf in app data dir, remove all addnode statements from conf and only add supernode, re-install gridcoin classic, try to sync.

If that doesnt work backup conf and wallet delete really everything and re-install from scratch. Try to sync with a minimal conf (only supernode entry) and in case it synced overwrite new conf and wallet with the backuped files

Good luck!

I would wait until the new gridcoinresearch is released. Check out the cryptocointalk forum for more info.

I'm trying to get GridCoin GPU mining with CGMiner to work but no dice.

Boinc is running happily on Asteroids@home with 4320 work done so far. The Gridcoin client is the one downloaded as of yesterday from the Gridcoin website. It says CPU projects are exhausted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's some dumps:

Hi everyone,

The reason GRC is still frozen on Poloniex is that there is a shortage of GRC in the wallet. This is because someone deposited a bunch of GRC on the wrong fork, sold it, and withdrew. They took care to avoid detection, depositing in small amounts, selling in bursts over a period of time, and converting the profits to three different coins before withdrawing in small amounts.

I was hoping to get the developer's input on this, and possibly an offer of assistance, but he has been unresponsive for days, and this needs to be dealt with. I'm going to need to roll back some of the trades the person made. Not all, but a few. I have a special rainy day fund that will just about cover the cost of this. The whole thing should be resolved soon, and GRC will resume, fully solvent.

dev doesn't look this forum very much. It's better if you post here--->https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1331-new-coin-launch-announcement-grc-gridcoin/page-285

if you want i can post for you...

Hey Gridcoin, let's work together?

...  ethical coins unite ..., let's join forces for specific projects.

Do you have a specific project that relates to science and are looking for a support partner, if so call on Einsteinium we will do what we can to forward your project.

Support partners usually will pledge to retweet, provide comments, likes, small donations, and endorsements for specific events they choose to get involved with.

Einsteinium is a 'cause coin' we seek to provide funding for science endeavors, we are seeking project partners for small projects involving: educational science. science fairs, science instructors (teachers, professors, mentors, etc ...), or anything else that has a heavy science influence.

Sounds interesting, but the dev Rob doesn't really post much here because too many bad actors, he posts in cryptocointalk! Do you have any particular projects or ideas you want to do with Gridcoin??

Yes, I see that our respective coins have a definite overlap -- science fairs, let's co-sponsor some science fairs, and we can also provide EMC2 coin and Gridcoin grants to science fair winners.

With that project in the hat we could take on more ambitious projects.    For clarity, we don't always have to do joint venture, we could also simply be support partners in that we provide comments, endorsements, retweets, etc ... like an extension of your marketing team.

The more engaged we are as 'cause coin's the better it is for the target causes, the CC industry as a whole, and our respective coins.
