Accoring to the roadmap, the first categores of the platform will be fashion, furniture & appliances. Platform starts in June 2019 with this set of items in Philippines & Malaysia with access to e-commerse platform and mobile applications.

Their not targeting my continent first for focus but I really like the fact that they are getting things running out it’s categories that have really good volume and that they have researched should sell very well in both basic and wholesale

Everyone can participate in the daily quizzes. It starts at random time, but there are some quiz pros and it is not easy to get one of the paid places.

yes, I've already noticed, some are always very good at the quizzes. Unfortunately, I usually miss them, but I would not be fast enough to have a chance against the "pros" :-)

I think it is better than having a random airdrop; at least you will have participants that actually know about the project and urge others to do the same. It is a great strategy.

Yes, you have a point and people keep confusing some aspect of all this, vanig is a global platform, restriction barely affects such, i mean one can easily order what they want from the platform and it gets shipped to them to any part of the world, so i don't think is necessary to start bringing in countries into the picture when in fact this is bigger than that

Maybe fake reviews exist but there are measures by amazon to combat those like a review is only made by someone who made a purchase. I understand the centralized nature of Amazon might be a concern; but i don't think it is a major problem. However I am curious to see how Vanig will approach that?

That would be a nice strategy but considering the fact that one may copy some ones TXID unless there is a means of tracking the TXID to know that it is from that specific user before he/she is allowed to review a product.

That is right, the Telegram channel is always well frequented and the admins answer all questions directly. With the daily quiz or other campaigns, the team does a lot to keep it that way.

I am hoping that the list will be expanded soon because I would love to see them list some electronic  gadgets and mobile phones on the platform. That is the category I love surfing through in most ecommerce websites.

I think it's very hard to differentiate fake and real reviews, but one option Vanig can try is to keep buyers reviews separate.

Reviews will always be hard I think they should make it sort of self correcting with people able to say if they think a review is genuine or not. In addition thanks to the immutability they can enforce that only buyers can review

People always seem to have unrealistic demands for things like this, people need to balance their expectations with what’s realistic. People sit their talking about crushing amazon or alibaba but personally I’d be happy if the project just gets off the ground is successfully trading at volume and gets off the ground
