Can this be removed from the Abstract of the Whitepaper: http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Whitepaper:Nxt

Quote
"While many are not comfortable with the specific initial distribution of the genesis block, when asked: "How would you solve problem with scam accusations according to "unfair" distribution NXT to 73 big stakeholders?", BCNext answered: "This problem can not be solved. Even if we had a million stakeholders the rest seven billion people would call this unfair. A world with the money can not be perfect".[1]
The fundamental improvement of NXT is Transparent Forging. This is the key innovation of NXT that allows it to process thousands of transactions per second."

Yes the initial distribution is an issue but can it not be included in the abstract - Abstract should provide a brief synopsis of NXT and its features, not a brief synopsis on Nxts most controversial issue.

Remove it yourself. It's a wiki page Smiley

Max Keiser is launching his own pump&dump shit coin...

Too many coins... I fear a very bad ending... hopefully not for cryptocurrencies in general.   Undecided

This is why I say scarcity is a myth in the crypto space. When Adam Beck says (in the LTB podcast) "please don't create alt coins" because they dilute bitcoin.... game over.

As long as a coin can be created, there's no such thing as limited supply.

The NETWORK/PLATFORM is another matter, though. Focus on the value of that.

Personally, I don't think the textures work well at all at any type of display smaller than, say, 512x512.

What size did you want the hexagon? (maybe that's why you mentioned seamless tiling x6, I didn't understand that earlier).

I still think flat colors works better but it's not my logo Cheesy

Edit: I get it now. You also want the NXT chain as the border.

Logo should lay within the rectangle set by 2 top and 2 bottom points of the hexagon.

Aye. It requires too much time.

If DGEX doesn't update to 0.5.10 then it will stick to a fork eventually.

Makes no difference if on a fork with 0.5.9 or non-functional with 0.5.10. We need 0.5.11 with a fix. Don't want to push, just make sure devs understand that this is important.

@CfB: Did you see Jean-Luc asking for help with the code? He was waiting for you and I am waiting for a bug fix release... :-)

He asked questions, dunno if it's related to ur issue.

Something about the implementation of getAccountBalance which seems to be connected to getState taking ages since block 51.000. (As far as I understand this might also be the reason why DGEX didn't update to 0.5.10.)

Aye. It requires too much time.

FYI: I am on 0.5.10 and have just received a dgex withdrawal in my account without any problems.

Once a block forged by an account with very different effective balances (due to 51k changes) appears the blockchain will be forked.

It's too similar to Qubic logo in this perspective. Look at my avatar.

I like the hexagons standing on a point like this better than lying on a side.

I think like the colors in the original sample textures better. It looks richer.

Also, it would be good to see a circle version as well for comparison, using all of CfB's ideas except the hexagon.

I recently see a problem with that. It's like all the common social networks:
http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/diagrams/social/simondseconoart.png

These Platforms are closed. That's a real issue. I hope, we can find a way some day to open each coin platform (aka block chain) up and have a common protocol for intercommunication.

Agree +1, I found it weird when I saw that...

To the people who use my exchange as a free anonymizer:

I don't mind, but it's a terrible anonymizer, especially if you withdraw the exact same amount you've just deposited!
