Hi Hazek, apologies for asking this again Smiley but are we ok to make the socketio pusher.com feeds available from our own websites? I can completely understand if this is not something you would like us to do, since you are paying for that service.

You can do it if you want but we can't promise it will be available.

Hi Hazek, many thanks for that, it is very much appreciated. No problem if there are no guarantees about it's availability.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

This one current api method is not acceptable for production use.
How long do you think we will wait before moving our assets to other place?

Just an observation with regards to the pusher feed, it looks like it has changed since I last looked at it a few weeks ago, it appears the depth info has been modified.

Before we had:
data.amount_sum
data.amount

For each order update. I assume that amount_sum showed the total amount of volume at that depth, and the amount was what the last change was. Now the data.amount_sum part of each message has gone and we only have the amount.

It also appears the bitstamp home page is no longer updating the live orders. I'd be interested if anyone else has any idea what the data.amount currently stands for, it is the change at that price, or the new sum at that price? Smiley

As I can see it now after some questions and answers bitstamp managment and developers do not put the public orderbook and trades api on the top of the list of their priorities.

From my own experience with bitcoin-analytics.com project I can only confirm that in such quite complex projects with limited resources there are always everyday maintance, more urgent hardware stability and software stability issues which naturally take the highest priority before any other problems which are not essential for the main service.

In general it is understood but in the same time those issues need to be addressed early or later.

Hello,

could you please either drop, encrypt or send the notifications of cash deposited or bitcoins withdrawn per bitmessage and not per plain email. Especially since it includes the physical address. I worry of drawing the attention of criminals.

Thank you,
Philipp

To the guy complaining about international transfers. My international transfers always take 7-10 work days, and I think it is due to my bank. On the other hand, SEPA is 2-3 days (unless it is a holiday or Saturday/Sunday).

Update: The funds finally arrived, but after 8 days instead of 1-2. My requests to Bitstamp support to investigate the cause of the delay have thus far gone unanswered. On the Mtgox timeline that puts us at approximately mid May.

I'm really disappointed with all the API changes...

It's extremely hard to get any descent historical data from bitstamp..

We used to be able to download transactions since a certain unixtimestamp, why isn't that available anymore? How can someone be confident about his/her historical transaction download?

Found my posts helpful? Consider buying me a beer :-)!:

probably this api changes are about performance issues. Less load to server when the standard request is cached for all instead of making a lot of different db requests.

They were better off with Cloudflare. Incapsula/Incapable have sent my bot into an unhappy state  Roll Eyes

"How are you justifying these as fair use?  They are clearly and unequivocally a copyright violation."
"I really want to know how you justify that under the fair use doctrine?  It does not conform to a single point of fair use."

iirc bitmessage had security issues...

Why don't you implement a message center on the webpage? And instead of sending content in the emails, emails just say you have a new message. Interactive brokers does that for example...

We have plans to implement something along those lines however currently other things unfortunately have much higher priority.
