Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on. DEFINITELY not complaining tho. Is the 24h average correct? Cause in the last 24h box, I'm 2BTC over what I normally get in a normal 24h timeframe. Even tho the statistics page says -% luck. Even the estimate PPS calculator is bringing up what my 'old' BTC (-alittle bit) estimate is around. Well, whatever it is... KEEP IT UP!!!! Did the difficulty drop? Maybe my time machine is working. Wait, you made 2 full BTC more than usual? Geez, you must be putting down close to 13 GH/s.

I went from 0.79 BTC per day to 0.42 BTC with the same hashpower in less than 24 hours. What the hell. Variance is a bitch.

tycho, I haven't seen any discussion of merged mining on other block chains like namecoin here yet (at least, no hits on a search of this thread). Are you working on this? https://github.com/vinced/namecoin/blob/mergedmine/doc/README_merged-mining.mdhttp://dot-bit.org/Merged_MiningBasically, we can earn namecoins and bitcoins at the same time. It sounds crazy, but it appears that there is no loss of bitcoin hashing power when adding namecoin mining. Just additional free profits. The only thing needed to enable this is changes on your end. Thanks!

I think https://deepbit.net/stats still shows the correct info on the right? http://blockexplorer.com/q/getdifficulty still shows 1690906.2047244 Perhaps the page can be updated and list the date when the last change happened and perhaps also indicate at what date we can expect the next difficulty: http://blockexplorer.com/q/estimate 1867431.05259403 so we can prepare for dent in payout ;-)

Hey, I'm having trouble getting any of my miners to connect to Deepbit.net's server. I switched my payout rate from per-share to proportional and haven't been able to connect since. Oh wait...I just realized it changed my worker name randomly! Not cool. Well, I'll change my login batch file to match then. But why the random change that made me switch pools?

Does the current PPS amount quoted include the fee, or is it calculated after? Current rate is 0.00003262705594458 BTC per share.
Would I get 0.00003262705594458, or 0.00003262705594458*0.9?
Thanks

Average shares per block: 1548770 (-9.2%) Average in last 24 hours: 1977226 (+14.5%)
How to "read" this? Stay with proportional or per share in this situation?

Hey, I was just wondering, how do I find out how much the PPC method is per share? I've been looking all over the place and can't seem to find it listed anywhere.

The former. It has already factored in the 10%. Hey, I was just wondering, how do I find out how much the PPC method is per share? I've been looking all over the place and can't seem to find it listed anywhere.
1st post of this thread. Tycho keeps it updated with the PPS #. Cheers, Kermee

You would of made a slightly more with PPS vs. Proportional during the last 24 hours. 10% fee for PPS vs. 3% fee for Proportional which is a difference of 7% so once you're more than about 7% 'unlucky' (in general using incorrect math)... you're making more with PPS. As with all historical 'Luck' results, does not guarantee future luck results. PPS should only be for people willing to 'eat' the 10% fee and just want a very stable income for a specific difficulty level. Cheers, Kermee

I got a question. I'm mining at Deepbit and on TM, with two separate GPUs, one per rig. I am also running two BC nodes (one is backup).
This morning I found that one of my nodes Generated 0.02331947 coins. This is weird, I have never generated anything. Now, my question is this... was this a block that I found FOR THE POOL? If so, why did I get the fees (i'm assuming they were the fees)

The current pay per share is 0.00002661294865101. That is on the deepbit's main page. Sam
