where is the 5000gh/s on the topic

They never seem to get revised down these pool owner seem to leave it at their peak hash rate once it hits that I have on the other hand seen plenty of revisions by them in the upwards direction...

So basically, every time deepbit is hit by a DDOS Tycho should just set it to 0?

While I agree in general, ATM it's kinda inappropriate here...

Back up for me now too.  Just cashed out all of my earnings and have jumped to another pool for a while.

Deepbit reporting their own hashrate at 2421 Gh/s, about half of what it was when I last paid any attention.

BitCoinCharts reporting total network power at 8.159 Thash/s

Surprisingly we are under DDoS again. It's still going on, but pool operation is restored at this moment.
I was unable to react quickly, sorry for that.

Also, this forum account can also make "official" posts about Deepbit, this is normal.

I am still unable to get to deepbit using the deepbit selection in gui..  8:10 AM EST -5 GMT  my block(s) are 98.70.*.*

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

'deepbit selection in gui' would imply my miner. I am also not able to get the website to respond. It would seem the few that have connected are just getting lucky and squeaking in a connection between attacks.....

The site is somewhat slow, so I gather the attacks are still going, but the website seems relatively stable to me, and my miner is connected and running. (I really should have looked into setting up backup pools earlier, but as it is the miner's pointed at deepbit and I've been busy lately so I couldn't mess with it.)

DDoS is still there, that's the cause of service interruptions. I'm working on this.

Can't access website and can't mine - not since yesterday afternoon. Both the website and the pool have been completely unreachable for me for the past 14+ hours.

Could have mined elsewhere while it was unavailable.  Plenty of pools would be glad to have the temporary hashrate bump Wink

I cant get my miners to CONNECT to deepbit's pool, I currently have a few CONNECTED, but it appears some form of DDoS blocker style shield is stopping my new connection attempts....

2ghash offline...... "connection problems" Whilst my other cards are doing just fine
