889 Gh/s, bottomed at 777 :-( dropping fast. People should know it will just take a while, but will still average the same amount of payouts to you than if you were to use another pool. I will put 1.1Gh/s on it tonight and hope to hit a jackpot block. I'd get like 3.4 bitcents if it happens.

It's been mentioned quite a few times: Deepbit doesn't include appropriate transaction fees for payouts, meaning it's very rare for any Bitcoin node other than Deepbit to actually include the transaction in a block (most won't even relay it so they never get seen by most the network).
Basically the only way to get paid is to continue mining on Deepbit so they eventually find another block.

Which is why I just moved all workers to BTC Guild I hadn't had issues with Deepbit payout in the past, luckily it is a small transaction of like 0.04 or something

I have been with DeepBit since very early this year and run at an average of 1.9Gh, yesterday I had a lot of connection problems (as far as I am aware not my end) and the pool was unable to supply enough work quick enough. The pool rate did drop considerably, but has come back up today, still having the odd unable to supply work quick enough, but all seems stable again. Any information on what happened ?
In respects to some whom have jumped ship, I have done the maths on average twice a month comparing to my possible earnings with BTCGuild, and yes you would get your coin into your wallet quicker, but not as much that is for certain as they just passed through 401,000Gh with so many users. Key to it is patience, earn more and be patient, and you will get your coin, even if it does take a couple of weeks, it will be more than a couple of weeks total else where.
All just my opinion.
Regards

I can confirm that confirmation can take a couple of days because most small transactions are only included by the pool itself, since those transactions don't have fees. Also I want to note that no payment was ever lost. All transactions are issued immediately, but confirmation takes some time.
Today I'm doing some maintenance on the payment system, so payments may be paused for some time. Don't worry, it will be restarted and refilled again, all automatic payments will be issued then.

Decided to resync one of my nodes involved in payments, that's a painfully slow process, just over 220 000 blocks now, no wonder that they aren't offering "classic" bitcoin client to new users anymore on the bitcoin.org...
(this won't affect your unconfirmed TXes, they will be confirmed normally by our next block)

THIS POOL IS NO LONGER ALLOWING INSTANT PAYOUT
I just moved all my miners to a new pool. 1.5GH/s
Anytime I try to Instant Payout it informs me I MUST wait for Automatic Payouts.

I've had suspended payments on this pool for the good part of a year now. I first emailed about them to Tycho as instructed in December, and he said the payments would be unlocked in a few days. I sent another email over a month ago, and it hasn't been responded to. It's not much, a bit over 0.4 BTC, but I'd sure like to get it.
Tycho, could you please dig into your email inbox and get this sorted out?

I keep mining on here; hoping we'll hit a block. Takes about 5 days to hit one, and it's been 7 now... any day now. So once we do, it should verify all the manual payouts. Usually just have one ASIC on this pool, but during the night I switch them all over hoping to hit a jackpot :-)

I'm actually not even getting the automatic payouts. This pool is refusing me my rewards I just mentioned the possible delays caused by resync in my previous message. But this issue is solved now anyway, you can request your payment.

Deepbit actually solved two blocks last night! I got over 0.1 BTC in rewards, but am only able to transfer out whole bitcents so I have 0.00977515 BTC leftover which is very annoying! We can never close out the whole balance? I can see automatic payments only being in increments of 0.01, but if we do an instant payout it should give everything. Or, if you wanna keep it, give me a "donate remaining balance to pool" option. It just peeves me that there will ALWAYS be numbers in my account and can never make it 0.00000000.

Just type in the amount down to the Satoshi, which is the 8th digit after the decimal point.
