adjusted staged work up by 20 in cgminer and all is good again Uh, how do you do that exactly? I thought ST: or Staged Work was just a status?

The share of the pie is always proportional to your speed if you mine long enough.
You just answered your question ... 'your speed compared to the network speed', so a stable pool adds to the income by reducing the downtime So you like that Deepbit is a small pool, thus it is less DDOSed, so less downtime? What about higher variance, large periods to find a block, thus unpredictable payouts? When DeepBit were big, people hated on them for that. Now they're small, people hate on them for that too. Do you have a constructive criticism to offer? There is no hate, just wonder how people tolerate the large variance and the waiting between payouts. It was my preferred pool back in 2011 when it was the biggest one.

The range for the queue is 1-10. So how could he adjust it up by 20? I set mine up to 5 from the default 1 to see what happens. Thanks, Sam

PPL hate on them because of the operator's ego.

When writing a config file in cgminer it can only be set 1 - 10 but in the AI it can be set higher. Yes the queue. I have it actually set at 30 now as it only takes a few seconds to use this staged work before awaiting more work, and sometimes I am still not get 100% work utility. May adjust further later on today.

Thanks for the tip. I'll tinker around with it a bit.

I have a problem with the shares being accounted, not sure if it's just for the stats or the miner is working for nothing. It shows average speed, but no shares are registered and the worker's rate shows 0 MH/s with 100% stale. Is it a pool problem or miner problem? It's cgminer 3.6.4 from fresh git
EDIT: It does work fine with two other pools, so it seems it's not the miner

Now it is OK. The account was unused for some time, so probably it just needed a full hour of mining to catchup.

how about reducing payout to 0,005 B atleast, as its value and diff increases its stupid to have this 0,01 B withdraw limit
