Funny that with me all the withdrawals are working just fine... I wonder if you are holding a short position and thus fear mongering? 3 days ago I would have felt the same as you, mostly. This isn't the first time POLO has held up a withdrawal for no apparent reasons.... but over 72 hours, that's another story. And I am not alone now.

Deposits are open now.
As for adding new coins, we don't want to jump into that too fast. Soon, though.

I am withdrawing all my alts to Bittrex, my mining wallet to Bittrex as well. I cannot afford to risk anymore with Poloniex. Once I am done moving all coins, I plan to call the IRS office there later today. See what can be done. Everyone better make back up docs of their POLO exchange balances and any correspondence with Polo.
After 3.5 years of trading there I never thought it would come to this.... sad day
Ticket Resolved. Earlier today. I may be a little Harsh on my favorite exchange, but they are having a run on issues and need to tighten things up a bit. 80 hours from the time of withdrawal is a very serious matter. Especially when BTC is rocketing too ATH.

I am not a new user in Polo, but they are definitely up to something. Recently I asked for 2k withdraws (BTC) & I am waiting for days now to get them out. Support tickets are being ignored. I have had some issues in the past & support was always fast enough to react, but now it's a different story altogether. I am worried about Polo as I keep quite a lot of BTC there to trade, hope it's temporary, but got a bad feeling...

I have had some issues in the past & support was always fast enough to react, but now it's a different story altogether. I am worried about Polo as I keep quite a lot of BTC there to trade, hope it's temporary, but got a bad feeling... I agree wholeheartedly! Poloniex is the only alt-exchange which has a ridiculously low default level withdrawal limit of 2k per day - which is barely enough to withdraw 1 bitcoin per day! And then on top of that arbitrary limit of 2k per day they now have the cheek to delay many users with their "Awaiting Approval" BS! As far as i'm concerned its all part of a scam they're running... a fractional reserve scam which counts on a large percentage of their customer base to be unable to withdraw their coins from the exchange - thereby allowing the exchange to do what they will with these customers' coins! (one can only imagine what they are up to with them) 2k per day withdrawal limit is a snail paced trickle pace for many traders on Poloniex... and it seems as if they are now no longer satisfied with this ridiculous 2k per day withdrawal limit and so now they're finding other creative ways to further delay people getting their coins off the exchange! this ridiculous situation whereby they are arbitrarily targeting certain customers for BS reasons and holding up their withdrawals in manual checks which often take up to 72 hours - or like in my case - were never even approved! so for these victimised customers Poloniex has managed to slow their withdrawal rate down to about 1 btc (2k worth) every 72 hours!! that's about 1/3 of a bitcoin on average per day which these customers are able to withdraw! Congratulations Poloniex!! They are a bunch of manipulative crooks! and they WILL go belly up ... make my words! Only a crooked company up to no good would use these kinds of manipulations to hold onto customers coins at all costs and then blame it on AML and other BS!! No other alt-coin exchanges have any of these bullshit limits on withdrawals! Poloniex deserves to go down for this!! F.ck Poloniex!!

If you are talking about 2000 BTC, it's kinda insane to someone to keeping their huge money in exchange sites. How long have you been waited for your tickets? -snip-
I agree wholeheartedly! Poloniex is the only alt-exchange which has a ridiculously low default level withdrawal limit of 2k per day - which is barely enough to withdraw 1 bitcoin per day! You will have $25k withdrawal limit of your account already level 3 (You need to verify some of your information first before this option can be open)

Correct me if I am wrong but a lot of newbies entering into crypto nowdays. Coinbase is also having issues these days and they are also regulated heavily. You know, if crypto gets a sudden influx of new money there will be tons of issues/manual verifications etc. so my recommendation is just to be calm and patient... And do not keep the bitcoins on Poloniex you are going to sell, and if you want to speculate on bitcoin price, also Poloniex is offering a tool for that (tether).

A week ago I closed a margin position. As a resident of Washington, it was my last act at Polo. My account was immediately suspended. I had to contact support for a withdrawal. It took those motherfuckers a week to respond and then they asked for information I could only have if I had access to my account. Another round with support and they have just sent me my coins. I hope someone knows where to find these guys. Please give them my regards.
I hope I am not the last man to get out.
Time for a drink!

People are leaving poloniex in masses. No wonder with the utter BS they are pulling. People can't even trade on there with the time-outs. It's bad.. Hopefully someone can pay them a visit personally and see if they are in the middle of shredding papers and the moving truck is in front of their office yet.

Im not keeping any coins on Polo. reason why. I ve seen this scenario play out a few times before. We have no idea why this was necessary. Therefore we dont know if there are bigger problems going on. also these were people who lost significant sums of money and they are about to stir up a shit storm for Polo. Do not trust them. Be prepared for them to be gone at any time. Fish
just before a exchange goes down, They are often like a cat digging in their litter box trying to cover up. The major delisting was the first sign. You have been warned.

They need to get their act together or people will stop using them to the point that they will become unprofitable. They should immediately fix these issues as this is the only way to build confidence in the users. This looks like a Cryptsy scenario otherwise. Speaking of which I hope somebody catches Big Vern and throws him in jail.

I just had to wonder if they cannot cover the amount of BTC withdrawals placed on them when there is such a demand to pull out and sell. If so, then where are the customers BTC?
They should always have enough coin ready for all customers even if a run on BTC withdrawals. Otherwise one might suspect they are using BTC funds for other things and are unprepared for such an instance. Who knows, but it sure feels that way.
Since my withdrawal was approved, I have yet to attempt to withdrawal again, But I will not let it get that much again. I am going to remove BTC more often in smaller amounts. If anymore problems I am going back to Bittrex.
