I keep my Dash in cold storage as collateral for masternodes. Normal DASH clients tucked away in virtual machines that I can take out if there is a problem.
Otherwise I have a few DASH change on a hot wallet. I haven't looked into lending out any DASH, I personally like keeping my funds secure rather than on an exchange somewhere.

Your coins are fine, of course. If you want the code to be upgraded/maintained/fixed(if it breaks), you better find a new developer to do it, because the original developer has sold out and the acquirer has said he won't be continuing it.

It is a fair question, development of "Dashcoin" will stay frozen and the Github will be locked. The original developer decided not to continue with that project and our focus is DASH. You are all welcome to join the DASH community if you wish to, it is a really promising project.

This is a natural step and I'm so glad this got finally proposed, I have been struggling recently with the security every time I had to restart a masternode, always fearing a keylogger + malware could steal my coins.

Now, if you don't mind me asking, for those of you using trezor with DASH already, is it possible to use the same trezor to store both BTC and DASH or do I need one trezor to store each coin? a.k.a.  do I need to buy another trezor?

LOL no. You wasted your money buying a github repo.

A decentralized community is not something you can buy. There were and are many people beside that slb idiot (or maybe not such an idiot, since he did get money for nothing out of you guys) who were and are active and non-infringing users of the trademark as members of a decentralized collaborative effort. They all have trademark rights, and all but one of them did not agree to any sort of transfer.

But we covered this way back when, so no need to repeat the whole discussion.
