Darkbids.com, a Darkcoin Auction and Market, is now ready for testing. How about posting an auction or two and helping test the site out. It's also a good way to promote using DRK for everyday transactions, and might even be a great way for you to get more DRK.... 

Do you mean it's ready to test with real sales of real products for real DRK? If so, I'll be happy to put some items up, not sure if I'll have time this weekend though. Test products mixed with real products could be a little confusing though.

For those of who think DRK is likely to rise in the not-too-distant future, it's probably a perfect time to sell those unwanted goods.

Yesterday's RC3 event is a blessing in disguise for Darkcoin.

 - the devs have learned exactly now to fine tune the masternode handling for 100% stability
 - RC3 was a major improvement on RC2 in stability of hard fork launch
 - testnet is getting a major revamp and extended in scope and scale
 - 2 new devs being brought on board

 - "DRKLord brings about 10 years of experience with C, C++, x84/64 ASM and many other skills to the team"
 - "CHAOSiTEC is a long time Darkcoin supporter with extensive knowledge of cryptocurrency and programming"

Setbacks are ok if they ultimately lead to progress and growth in scope and knowledge by the dev team. That appears to be exactly what's happening here.

Why do we need masternodes when we can have simply PoS and PoW. Isn`t it the same ? You just lockdown some DRK in your wallet and you receive a certain amount whenever you keep your wallet open.

Yes it is ready to test with real products, both retail inventory and auction items. I don't like the test products up myself so I will remove all of them as soon as I get some real items posted. The site wouldn't look completed without those placeholders there

Masternodes process DarkSend transactions. PoW is still how new coins are generated, and how regular transactions are processed, masternodes just get a cut of the block reward (20%).

New coding for the tx id thing they had to fix. Had something to do with the code taking to long to resolve issues that could effect the blockchain.
