Unlike drk though it has a tier 1 dev. XC will be explosive this week.
LOL... talk about a "foot in the mouth" crossbred with "facepalm" moment...

Agree XC has very strong fundamentals, and considering it's only 5 weeks old it's chart looks very similar to early days drk.. Unlike drk though it has a tier 1 dev. XC will be explosive this week. I had a few (very few) XCs some time ago.. managed to sell them at 0.0042(29 May).. and guess what.. it is about 3.5 times cheaper now.. Do you suggest I should have stayed on the ship while going underwater?

Thats the thing I saw when I read the whitepaper. The vast majority of small/medium businesses do not want their books open to the world. And the vast majority of people do not want their personal books open to the world. Unless you actually want to. And now you have a choice for the first time with cryptos. The word to that crumbles bitcoin (& litecoin), fungible. Bitcoin core developer Gregory Maxwell commented on the recent coin validation efforts:
“To stop this nonsense we have to make it impractical to pull off by changing the default behavior in the bitcoin ecosystem. We consider the lack of a central authority to be an essential virtue, which means that we can’t be protected by one either. We must protect ourselves. This means things like avoiding address reuse, avoiding centralized infrastructure, adopting— and funding!— privacy enhancing technology.”

I had a few (very few) XCs some time ago.. Jeez. I didn't know that had gone that high. I bought mine at 24. Then they went to 12 and bought a whole lot more just to offset my loss on the rebound. Sure enough they rebounded to 22 at which point I tossed the lot overboard and just about broke even before they sank beneath the waves.. "Explosive" coin sure enough. Explodes your pockets. Top "tier" developer sure enough. Brings "tiers" to your eyes.

Hah, Darkcoin lacks this explosive cash-flushing technology, whereas Shitcoin will have it as soon as I finish implementing Shitcoin Wipe, which frees up your valuable HDD space and removes blockages from the Bloatchain.

Someone did a while back. There's also a 'Trollcoin', and 'Scamcoin' has just been relaunched.

Top "tier" developer sure enough. Brings "tiers" to your eyes.
Oh man you are rocking the boat around here for sure. I saw that post too and felt like posting here, but I generally refrain from attacking some other coins, unless they come and stir shit first. Did you see the fat punk make another condescending snide remark about "other alt-coins having problems with fork" ? Man those clowns deserve to get their BTCs taken away from them, which is what the team did.

Enforcement "on" means that the network will disregard blocks that are deemed fradualent thus not adding them to the blockchain. This is there to prevent people from tampering with the masternode payments to, for example, pay themselves rather than the elected node. The cause of the unwanted forking to this point was bugs in this enforcement protocol which caused miners to disagree on which blocks should be discarded. Most of the bugs were worked out at the time of the second payment attempt, but a race situation occurred on mainnet (hard to reproduce due to the lack of mining clients testnet) which once again confused the enforcement protocol.
This time enforcing "on" or "off" is a binary switch that is controled by the devs (i.e. it can be switched on and off without people needing to update clients or stop masternode payments). At launch the switch will be "off" which means that the network will accept all blocks (thus no danger of forking) and record the blocks it thinks should be rejected in the debug log. Once Evan is certain that the log only shows blocks that are actually supposed to be rejected and concludes that the enforcement system is bug free -- he will flip the switch to "on".
In short, payments to masternodes can countinue while the enforcing system is vetted on mainnet via the debug log -- and once things are working correctly the enforcement system will be brought online. On the off-chance there is a problem, the system can be once again turned off, debugged, and patched all without stopping payments (obviously a patch would require people to update clients).
Hope that explains it.
So... basically now masternode payments can be implemented via soft fork instead of hard fork? Any potential problems will affect only the masternode operators, and will not affect normal transactions, mining, the network in general? The enforcement switch will essentially create a hard fork for us, no need to update clients, and only once everything is working properly? If so - brilliant! Exactly. If Evan finds issues while the enforcement is still "off" then we all may need to update to a patched version, but as you said once everything works correctly enforcement will be switched to "on" and that will hardfork the blockchain without anybody needing to update -- also we can hardfork back seamlessly as well if on the off-chance that is necessary. All of this does not require an immediate client update to revert payments so there will be none of the panic (or the dumping) that occurred during the last two attempts. So yes -- brilliant!
