All that's happening is a diversification in the "anon" market across algos. DRK and CLK are moving towards each other and may end up at parity, thereby serving the POW and POS sectors independently. Remember, DRK doesn't offer a POS product so that market is wide open for anyone that wants it. (And don't give me any POW vs POS b.s. - POS is here to stay as 'market distribution is a genuine alternative to mining).

Although, right now, they may be competing with each other, ultimately - if CLK turns out to be any good - it will serve to consolidate the 'privacy offering' right across the market.

I know this because I live in a "trendy" street with a lot of coffee shops. There used to be only 2 coffee shops. But when more started arriving, the price of a cup of coffee - instead of going down - went UP ! That's because the consolidation of the street's identity as a trendy place to visit generated demand at a faster rate than supply and drew in people from afar.

Similarly, the consolidation of the privacy sector in the cryptoeconomyand the establishment of a leading POW and leading POS coin could mean that everyone decides they have to have a holding in both and ultimately make the presence of the two coins permanent.

But, as so often happens on forums, an early rebuttal of something you've said has resulted in you reacting against it in an affronted manner and then the downwards spiral that claims all too many people takes over. I'm guessing if we met each other socially we'd be able to have a good conversation and learn about each other. But alas, this format of back and forth banter where I have no physical cues about you and how you are (and likewise you have none on me) can result in almost immediate misunderstanding and disdain.

Can I please suggest you read my post #50615 on page 2531 (and bigrcanada’s post #50548 quoted within the text of my post) to try and comprehend what we’re dealing with here. It does take a bit of effort to get underneath all the surface noise and identify what's truly valuable. im not just another troll im a huge dark holder and supporter but im so tired and dissapointed...thanks for the link as i didnt knEw about this progression but this is not reflectin the market even though such a big job its on the corner but none is supporting and buying dark and the price keeps going down...im also loosing my patience from devs they look like they dont care about community and supporters .Its like they are doing the job for theirselves...As i said im not going to afford any more losses. DRK just has a nice head start, it's going to be open sourced soon - no seriously privacy appreciative merchant or customer is going to adopt closed source solution. DRK is about to mature to real world usage. If other coins have planned some other usable features or apps deemed as valuable, DRK can just easily implement those, no problem. It's not like if some coin announces its plans to create USB sticks or chat apps, that it would mean that DRK can't have those if someone thinks they have some value or use.. it's not rocket science.

Looking forward to NightTrader myself as well btw!

Let me know, what makes you tired and dissapoited ? They delay of RC 4 ? Did you ever touch a piece of software that is anything else than a userinterface ?
If yes, than i don´t know wheres your problem, if NO go and sell your 20k now and put your shit BTC on another hyped coin - ALN is new on cryptsy.
go in there before it´s too late. They have a full new concept and a withepaper that smashs down everything i´ve seen before.
If you own 20K DRK and bought them on a higher price than you could dump them now, then your BTC you spend on DRK weren´t hard owned.
So if you once got them easyly, why you shoudn´t loose them the same easy way. Sometimes your the winner, sometimes you are the looser.
Sell now, buy back much higher and cry again !
