Darkcoin is nothing to do with Tor.

Tor is an NSA funded honeypot, last year they supplied >60% of the Tor Project funding. This is openly and publically verifiable. Common sense suggests that they also run most of the Tor exit nodes. Tor is also slow, unreliable, and a pain in the arse to use.

Darkcoin/DS+/DarkTransit will be much faster, much easier to use, and not owned by the spooks.

Subversive technologies are useful to the US Intelligence for subverting foreign governments or conducting operations in other countries. For example, chinese, iranians, etc using TOR to surf foreign websites, bypassing government control. So the US has an interest in funding such tech.

Almost no government (except the USA) has NSA-level capabilities to break / honeypot / guesstimate with high probabilities systems like TOR, anonymous cryptos etc... So they are quite useful in the rest of the planet.

NSA-proofing is the last layer so that you can also be safe vs the US government surveillance.

Earn your own DRK coins by mining at the multipool. Not only that, you can earn DRK using your old ASIC hardware on SHA256 and SCRYPT coins!

DarkCoin by xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
DRK Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into DRK. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into DRK and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the DRK payments are sent.

As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient DRK can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better.
If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired DarkCoin.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Donations welcome!

The last shift paid out 44+ DRK on all algos!

Cheers!

be carefull with your included logo.. under new bitcointalk rules this could be considered spam and might get it deleted, see here : http://www.coindesk.com/starcraft-urocoin-mining-pool-prohibition/

280x Vapor-x 's ?? One of my fans is clicking :/

Haha yep that's exactly what was wrong with mine, the click was like Chinese water torture.

I never noticed it in the days of Scrypt and Scrypt-N, I was too busy hiding behind the couch.

Now with x11 the rigs are so cool and quiet I notice things like little clicks.

So tonight I thought, "I can fix this"... I attach a picture of my repair job:

I think I have a problem (a mental one).  I set up my first MN yesterday with the help of Ghostplayer/Yidakee and I think I have spent at least eight hours since staring at my wallet balance waiting for my first payment.

I know that it might be days until I get my first piece of the action and I didn't set up this MN with the main priority to make loads of coins but to be part of the network feels so freaking cool!  Come on voting mechanism!  Give me a fraction of a DRK and make me a very happy man!

Since most Western non-US governments just bend over and let the US info-rape them, this is duct tape at best.

A while ago Evan mentioned that it might in future be possible for Masternodes to function on dynamic IPs - this would be a huge help, far harder to hit a thousand constantly moving targets.

Or have them on your side.  Wink

If The Company decide they find Darkcoin/DS+ useful, as they should, anyone trying to DDOS the network is going to get disappeared in a hurry.
