Does anybody know what happened to Chaeplin? Sometimes you don't realize how useful something is until is is gone. His http://drk.poolhash.org/ site was the best for monitoring MN's

Purely on paper, 57.5% looks about right to me... At 2000 Masternodes, 30% ROI looks closest to the money, by then DRK will be worth more and MN owners will need to spend a bit extra hardening infrastructure and security... End game here is a piece of plastic or mobile phone app that allows us to access our DRK in the most convenient and secure way possible, we'll need a robust and decentralised hive of MNs to service Instant(Tx) and whatever other Service Bus like killer apps that rise to the top

It is a free market so I wont say "don't worry about the price" or anything similar. I would advice not to depend on Darkcoin for your immediate living expenses, that is not wise and makes for a weak investment because the moment you have any real life emergency you will have to dump loosing value and affecting the coin. I think is better to invest money that you wont need for around a year or so. I have been working very hard for DRK and not participating much in the forums because I am a firm believer that our success is out there engaging new businesses and spreading the word about Darkcoin with investors and early bitcoiners.
The people that can influence the success of the coin are not reading specific altcoin threads, at least not on a regular basis. So if you can dedicate some time, volunteer over at DCT and help contacting real businesses, we are slowly adding supporters and have already received amazing business leads from the community. Some of the major exchanges and crypto companies have open conversations with us but are not ready to add Darkcoin right away, it will take time and we need to show consistency and a better general climate is needed, but we are taking advantage of this stage to develop relationships so that when the time is ripe we can add several services in a short time. In fact there are a few announcements that will be coming out soon, our strategy right now is adding Darkcoin to one crypto service at a time no matter if big or small until we can reach critical mass but it takes time.
I think we are seeing a strong consolidation phase and Darkcoin will emerge as the clear leader in terms of coins with privacy features. Time has proven that this enterprise requires talent, honesty, commitment and endurance that Darkcoin has and no other coin in our space has. With InstantX we will not only be valulable from a privacy perspective but all around. No matter what the price does the development team never stops working, Evan is committed and motivated by the idea of creating something big, real and useful. This ensures the continuity of the coin, and in this trying times endurance is the most important thing, price swings happen we will eventually catch our wave upward, specially after proving how resilient the coin is and how serious is everybody involved, other coins will die and the best coins will continue. What we are seeing right now is just natural evolution, the ability to adapt to the changing environment and the survival of the fittest.
Hey Brother I was just wondering how your promo stuff was going? Did that tool help? I think promotion efforts are going really well, it is really the joint effort of many active community members. That is what I like about Darkcoin anyone that wants to help can do it. I am not sure what tool you are referring too? We did implement a Sugar CRM platform that has helped organize my efforts and Fernando is working on the Foundation website that I think will help a lot to organize the community efforts below an official umbrella. Does that answer your question?

mister whale, please continue to dump
my orders haven't been filled yet
I don't think this is a whale. Some mini whales dumped 100,000DRK+ in three hits within the last 30 days. We are currently seeing smaller amounts of dumping influencing the market. As pointed out up thread though, volume is low so I suppose this has a comparable effect. I stand corrected. Just saw the 33k dump last night. Resistance indeed. I dumped 20k yesterday. I always told myself that at $1.70 I would have to sell about half of my coins. I reached my panic point. I quit my job few months ago because of my DRK investments (I went all-in with 95% of my net worth), so I needed to secure my future to have enough money to start a business. Hopefully you understand, price has never been important for me, but it becomes important when your personal future gets in danger. I'm done dumping now and holding on to my remaining 30k as a long term hold. I'm still a firm believer in this project and I'm fairly confident that at the end of the road this project will change the world. This is utterly unacceptable behavior. You have been engaged in this community long enough to know that there is over the counter methods and interest to purchase Darkcoin, even by Evan himself. You basically decided to punish the community by dumping on an exchange as you turned supposedly part of your holding back to BTC. Shame, shame, shame on you!

This is a free market so he can really do as he pleases with his coins. He recognized that maybe he invested more than he could afford to hold long term, so he is back to a more comfortable position for him. This means that in the future he wont be so pressured to sell if problems arise and also that the coins will be better distributed. Just buy the coins back in the markets, the dust will settle and the price will rise, the fundamentals of Darkcoin just keep getting stronger.

Devs:
If you build multi-sig into DRK, especially on mobile, then there is an argument against reduced regulation as regulation is mainly about consumer protection from things like exchanges and other financial intermediaries losing your money while they are in custody of it.
If you maintain a hold over it through multi-sig, you remove a major need for regulations.
Then its just about FinCEN stuff - reporting of financial crimes.

I was away from the forums for a few days, so I missed on this opportunity, let me know if you are looking to sell in the future.

That blue arrow shows the price of bitcoin on October 30th, last year
. A couple of days later, price just skyrocketed. I know it is a wishful thinking but what if, just what IF, it repeats the same pattern this year and we are days away from the next Bitcoin bubble and it takes Darkcoin with it! Kaboom!

Multi-Sig is already in the code. It would be up to the app developer to include it. Does anybody know what happened to Chaeplin? Sometimes you don't realize how useful something is until is is gone. His http://drk.poolhash.org/ site was the best for monitoring MN's I sent him a message today.

No trading API and automatic sending of funds back to the user after each trade completion would solve the obvious market manipulation and exchange-owner-running-off-with-your-money problems. Don't like exchange bots using your exchange balance against you? Don't leave your money on exchanges. Don't use exchanges with a trading API for bots. No more gox and botpal incidents.

MintPal Vows to Fight Former Moolah CEO in Courthttp://www.coindesk.com/mintpal-fight-moolah-ceo-court/Bhai said that as of today, Green remains in control of the cache of bitcoins, the amount of which he says is difficult to estimate. He cited activity under a LocalBitcoins account presumed to be owned by Green as evidence that most, if not all, of the funds held by Green have already been sold.
