[ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Worlds First Decentralized Game/World on the Blockchain

I downloaded the blockchain and I'm trying to get the downloaded blockchain in the directory but I must be doing something wrong.  

I downloaded 7 zip.. then proceeded to unzip the huntercoin file with the extension .zip.001 to the Appdata directory.

I am uploading an alternative to see if it helps.

These will be the dat files zipped:

blk0001.zip
blk0002.zip
blk0003.zip
blk0004.zip
blkindex.zip
game.zip
nameindexfull.zip

Right now blk0001.zip and blk0002.zip are done and blk0003 is 50% and will take a few hours for them all to complete.

Same directions apply... for the default setup, unzip each of these in your c:\users\<name>\appdata\huntercoin directory and then run your huntercoin executable.

For them to take a position in HUC speculating that the development will come along and yeild something pretty sweet.

Even a small investment of $10,000 usd would buy a good chunk of HUC atm. Every 10k helps!

People are at least watching needless to say, but not jumping on the bandwagon quite yet because of the number of problems with HUC for the moment.

I am going to take another stab at this with a t-shirt maker friend here. I think its important to purchase them for HunterCoin. If there are any high res/vector graphics of characters, logo, etc..... he would prefer those of course.

I ran QT and it hangs for a while then I get this.

It's exactly what I mean. The random disaster is a very brilliant move. But 10 HUCs general makes it extremely dangerous for afk players. I think under the disater incoming and without the 2 sidekicks attached to a general, the map shoud be much less crowed anyway if remains 1 HUC a general. Just my guess.

I know its very early, but its feeling like the 1/10,000 is high, but was a reasonable starting point. It feels like the game will hit the next mandatory disaster block in which there is time to recycle etc which defeats the purpose of the disaster i think. As discussed a rising or higher probability might be better.

Also its been discussed quite a bit, but I am still wondering about the recycling for the 10HUC during attacks. Although I have used it to my advantage quite often in the past, would it be more game worthy if the 10HUC (or 50%-70%) used to purchase the general became allocated on the game board and reduce some of the frivolous attacks?   I know, I know I am guilty of participating in that behavior... but with little to no risk in destructing, lack of players, etc... well you know....

The general's real worth is in keeping its subordinates alive.

This certainly got my interest.  What sort of attack would create "free coins" and wouldn't such an attack be highly visible on the network?

Is he referring to the time travel tricks which have been well known since the first week or so after genesis block?  IIRC that predates almost everyone in this thread, and has never been any big secret.  There is probably even discussion of it in the on-chain chat.

I'm agreeing that this is some silly FUD unless they can offer some evidence that any cheating is occurring.  Cheating at the HUC game with anything but time-travel forks would be a phenomenal accomplishment, and you'd think that someone would want to take the credit for finding a way.

Yes he's most definitely lying - you can actually use analyseutxo rpc and see how many total coins there are in circulation -- together with looking through the entire game map history...

Although we haven't ruled out changing anything - I'd say Domob's disaster implementation on the "code" level was definitely successful and he has done amazing work.

As with every "new" crypto we have to take some responsibility for pushing some stuff (and want to, so we can shape our vision) -- but in the end anyone can edit the code, fork it, get miners to upgrade or whatever.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to test the downloads... spent my free time getting some disaster coins today.
