Why do it still load when I have downloaded the whole blockchain?? 22 weeks left...
Did you unzip to the right place? The unzipped files belong in the same folder as your wallet, NOT the same folder as the executable. yes , take a look :  Try renaming that folder to just "huntercoin" thats not the right name of that folder. |

Also, in addition to no huntercoind in 11f, the domob bot cant create a new player.... it's stuck on registering, never gets activated

Yes, you need to rename the folder to "huntercoin". If you run the executable as is, the huntercoin directory will be created. However it will start downloading from block 1 because its using the default directory. Essentially you have three options, from easist to hardest. 1) Rename the folder to AppData/Roaming/huntercoin 2) Create AppData/Roaming/huntercoin and copy over the dat files 3) Create a shortcut and use --datadir argument to point to the current directory |

And this opened a new problem , but its 21 weeks now and almost 50% on the sync bar. The problem is Runtime Error :  |

My only advice would be to delete everything including the huntercoin folder and start over.
USE the BGB block chain and installation instructions. Worked for me. You also don't need to have the QT in your appdata directory.

Suddenly my whole computer freezes at almost every block, sometimes for up to 45 seconds. I usually get warning popups about either high disk usage or high cpu usage. And yes, it only happens when either version of huntercoin is open. Qt wallet or mithrilman.

I think I fixed my problem making a shortcut with -testnet added in the name. 4 weeks left. But is it normal being stuck at block 279164?

and now this happens , I really want my coins So close, but yet so far! Yes , not much left , 4 weeks , but the sync have totally stopped and are stuck . Why so many bugs with the wallet client? Or it might be just me doing something wrong , but I wanna know where I have failed. Why do it need upgraded nodes ? I have followed BGB's download instructions 100 % . Can the problem be because the windows user I use is not an administrator on my system? ( I have another user that is admin , so I gotta type in the admin password everytime I open or download something that require admin promissions , this is for security reasons .) |

Using -testnet will run the test network for HUC. That is fine if you want to experiment and learn, but its not the 'real' game since its the test chain.
Downloading the blockchain should cause it to synch pretty fast. There isn't something correct in your setup. What else is in your 'shortcut'?

Hey BGB! Thanks for telling me this , I think I kinda figured out that something wasn't on track with the testnet thingy. so I removed the testnet in the shortcut. But now I think I starts in -testnet what ever I do , same thing when I open again. |

Hey BGB! Thanks for telling me this , I think I kinda figured out that something wasn't on track with the testnet thingy. so I removed the testnet in the shortcut. But now I think I starts in -testnet what ever I do , same thing when I open again. I think it worked by deleting blkindex.dat and it should redownload itself. But now Im back on 28 weeks and 0 blocks. It's stuck there. I got the whole blockchain downloaded tho , just not the blkinex.dat 100 % after I deleted it. But the blkinex is getting bigger in kB so I think it will be done after that. Sorry my bad english typos/grammar. |
