Just did my regular visit to mintpal and to my horror I saw mintcoin in the single digits, it was awful.. Yeah, I wonder why it went down so much. At least this is a good time to invest in more, :p. It's still at 10 sats on poloniex. Maybe someone dumped a massive amount on mintpal and artificially lowered the price. It's down to 8 on Cryptsy too though (people are dumping into that). still waiting for 3 sats here I believe the price will bounce back two digit soon. It is a good time to invest. That is not gonna happen. There is too much intrinsic value with Mintcoin that it won't reach such levels anymore, maybe at the beginning. At this stage, we have reached the bottom and even dipped below it. It is heavily manipulated and will rise from here on out. There is a lot of development with the Android wallet and activities with the Fund.

No one tell me mintcoin is good. No one ask me to support mintcoin. I just get the conclusion that mintcoin is good by myself. But now ... the mintcoin price is dumped. I trust mintcoin, Why you don't trust it.

does any one here know how to set up a tipbot for mint? could be a nice way to expand
There used to be two (on Reddit, and aslo on Twitter). I think the Reddit one, the owner is willing to let someone else handle it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/MultiCoinTipping/

Maybe a new exchange would bring some new light to MINT, the exchange is growing fast & will add new coins daily.. One vote every hour & it could be listed in a few days, MINT could use the new attention (aside from Cryptsy & MintPal).. https://sharexcoin.com/votings?coin=MINTI don't believe that getting the coin on to new exchanges is going to fix the value issue. The same people that use other exchanges will be going to the new one, so you're still pulling from the same pool of people. With that said, I'm not against getting it on to more exchanges just because why not? But I don't see any value increases as a result.

Wish I wouldn't have bought back into mint. It's future doesn't seem so bright the trend has been nothing but downward for the past few months. A few months back a few people were screaming I'm not selling my mint till it hits 100 sat 1 person inparticular that I can remember lol good luck with that it seems all that's going on in the exchanges is a bunch of dumping. I hate to talk negative especially because this is one of the coins of I've loved since I stumbled across it. I'd just like an explanation as to why people believe mint will have a good future because as I said right now it isn't looking so good.

MINT still has a valuable block chain. It just has way too many coins to be traded by single coin to satoshi. What mint needs is a 10,000:1 split.

The whole market is down now and altcoins get hit hardest. From what I've been reading, some major Chinese investors are pumping money into Bitcoin and also commented that China is friendly towards Bitcoin. Li Xiao Lai: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=611044.0

It has gone from 100 Sat down to 15 multiple times and has always gone back up. Don't base your opinions on any coin over a short-term change (or, in the case of DVC, medium-term as it will usually drop for 3-5 months before increasing).

Plenty of coins launched at the same time as mint are now right at the bottom of coinmarketcap. Mint is still near the top at 29th place. It will probably get pumped when bitcoin starts to rise in price again, and might even reach 100 sat. The downside is that might be a long time in the future. It looks like we will have to put up with low prices in the short term.

Everyone should have at this site; http://haveamint.com/Ask if they will consider taking Mintcoin as payment. Their name seems to resonate well with Mintcoin.

How do you come to the conclusion that its future doesn't look bright? By the price on the exchanges? Look at what is being done for mintcoin instead: 50+ merchants, allot of exchanges, android wallet on the way, legally registered foundation and so on.. It has been said many times before: MintCoins is NOT for short time profit. The value will be built organically and not from pump/dump..

Mintcoin has a good future, just look at it long term. Now there are 20% coins generated on a yearly base, in three years this will be only 5%. What do you think that will do with the price Anyway, I will not sell untill we reached the 5% , then we will see...

Im just waiting for the price to drop enough to hit the ltc market to buy in a substantial quantity I really don't get this attitude, especially if you have already been following the coin. If you think this is a good coin then back it up with your money now. I don't think it is likely but if Mint starts teetering between 1 and 2 sats then it's pretty much over - as the Proof of Stake selling point becomes meaningless. So hovering like a vulture will get you nowhere here.
