There is another problem attached to it and that is when any of the best player is being tested positive this mean the original strength of the team is reduced and then bench players will be picked up. And something like this happens when many such players of a team is positive so then that tournament would not be played with best players or it would not be matching up to the other side strong players and world cup would is not where you would like such things to happen.

As a player there immune system will be far better than a common man and it is possible they might recover faster.

I just hope every player follows the social distancing norm and are fit before the game.

Also when these pakistani players will reach England they will be tested again and remain in quarantine for 14 days. This is not only for those who had covid19 but the whole cricket team will experience 14 days quarantine in England.

They won't be treated but they will quarantined as per the SOP. The problem is that Pakistani players did not take this disease seriously and that is why more than one have been tested positive. They should behave like professional if they want to play international cricket.

Good news from the Pakistan team is that six players who were positive has now tested and the results are negative. Those players are Hafez , Raiaz, Zaman, Shadab, Rizwan and Hasnain . Though they have not travelling with the team which they will be leaving today to England and will be under isolation for 2 weeks.

I do not understand till yesterday they all were covid 19 positive and today they became negative. How is this possible? Amazingly within few hours they are not having this dreadful virus. If it's not a drama then it is a negligence in part of the medical institution which conducted there test.

How can the medical department be so careless to conduct the wrong test result and keep in mind these are not ordinary persons. These are the international players who are about to travel to the UK. To be on the safe side, they should be tested again on arriving in UK, as no one wants these players to be a threat for the England cricket team.

Paistan's medical system completely exposed by this Corona so many fake laborteries and medical institutes was not on merit just because of this we have many players was positive and then negative PCB is also not good management mostly they are favouring their own peoples so they give contract to wrong person and have result in wrong as Hafeez check by his own then all this exposed and now PCB is also in shameful situation and doing new tests and have better results.

What worst could get it from here is that once the players reach to England and again if the test are being done and they turned into positive then what will happen, will they be sent back to their country or will they be treating them there and after that they can play the matches once their results become negative. Many more such things could happen in coming time.

Under normal circumstances, if a foreign national tests positive upon arrival in England, he'll be either admitted to a hospital there, or he'll be placed under supervised isolation quarantine (for asymptomatic cases). The patient will be allowed to travel to the home country, only in cases where he has all the required permissions from both the countries, and the travel will be permitted only in an air-ambulance.

Do you think the BCCI will void the sponsorship because they are Chinese brands, there are written contracts and what happens if VIVO goes to court, i have no idea about the contract agreement but i am pretty sure they will have clause that will aide them in voiding a contract just like that as they are not paying small amount for these sponsorship. What is the reason for Coco Cola to cut the ties, whatever it may be the reason the BCCI has more funds to conduct the tournament if they have a favorable situation regarding the virus.

I don't think you understand the current situation of the BCCI. They are usually in the news for corruption and other reasons and now these sponsorship and advertiser issues made their situation even worse.

On top of all this, they have suffered huge losses thanks to COVID which is why it isn't just about the funds. It seems that they are looking at Sep-Oct to conduct IPL though I am expecting them to postpone the event once again.

Cocacola cutting the ties might lead to some loss in funds for BCCI but that is not going to stop the IPL if they plan to conduct it. Moreover, Vivo sponsorship wouldn't be a problem, the cries for boycotting Chinese products is just a publicity stunt nothing more. And as 7788bitcoin mentioned, they might have a written contract in place and if BCCI breaks the contract they might have to pay some compensation.
Just check this - OnePlus 8 Pro sold out within minutes of going on sale even as calls for boycotting Chinese items.

Being a regular visitor to India, I would say that the Indian laws are flexible. VIVO can go to the court and it is even possible that they may get a favorable ruling from the judges. But the government can pass a bill with two-third majority in the parliament to reverse the judgement. And under current circumstances, it will be suicidal for the Indian opposition parties to support VIVO.

Are you claiming that BCCI has gone from the richest cricket body to loosing everything, what about the other cricket bodies during this period, there is no matches and everyone is suffering during this period and it is not a situation that is enforced on BCCI alone and with the sponsorship issue, they will get a thousand other sponsors if they loose one and hence it is not even a big deal.

As i mentioned above the COVID situation is not exclusively for BCCI or cricket, there is no NBA and they are loosing millions and so does many sports and some are not even willing to restart the sport without live gate.

I am not familiar how the law works in India but the supreme court could uphold the law if it is unconstitutional and if there is an agreement and they want to annul the contract without proper reason then logically they could get the protection from the court.

That is funny, asking to boycott Chinese products using Chinese products and TikTok is also a Chinese company  . Is there any Indian mobile phone brands that does not have Chinese manufacturing units and i highly doubt those, if India starts boycotting the products the same can be done by China when it comes to exporting manufactured goods to India and if that happens then electronic products will become expensive as you can only get Chinese electronic items for cheaper rates.

I saw an article today about possible venues for the IPL and the Caribbean is the choice it was given espcially in Barbados and then Saint Kitts and Nevis and the West Indies cricket board will accept any offeres from the BCCI and majority of the players are from these region playing in the IPL, so if BCCI wants to conduct the tournament it is possible to move to these countries like they did in the past when they moved to South Africa .

It is not practical to boycott China, since they produce 99% of the electronic spare parts. Even non-Chinese companies such as Sony, Samsung and Apple use Chinese parts in their products. All this talk about boycotting China is done by some political parties in India (both ruling and opposition). After sometime, everyone will forget about it, and Chinese companies will go ahead with their sponsorship deals with the BCCI.

It is a great news that Pakistan already reached England and hope everything goes smoothly as Cricket is the only sport to return after the pandemic while the rest of the major sports resumed and i really miss wagging a bet on some real games as i am wagging bets on T10 and eCricket all this while. I am sure they will be careful in avoiding outside contact but to be frank it is a really hard situation, just hoping for the best so that we would see other teams resuming the game.

May be, i am not following those and hence i cannot comment on the corruption, economy wise everyone is struggling not just India but the COVID situation will play a major role in resuming cricket in India as the situation is getting worse.
