Rishabh Pant was sent to open the innings and i had my expectations to be the next Adam Gilchrist from India to take advantage of the power overs and he failed miserably once again as an opener  . The selectors should accept the fact that Rishabh Pant is more of an ODI and Test player than a T20 player.

It looked like Suryakumar Yadav was literally batting on a different pitch. His strike rate was 217 and the next 21 batters SR in this match were averaging just above 100. That was a shocker!

Pant batting at the top order is a nice move due to his gameplay, just give him 5-6 matches if he fails then others are waiting in line.

SKY is the only batter who has scored two centuries in a T20I match within a year. Lockie Ferguson looked so helpless when SKY started going after him. The poor guy tried every available option in his last over against him but everything failed. If it was not SKY then India would have given a target of Max 150 runs. Good thinking by Indian team management in promoting SKY on the batting order.

New-look India under Hardik Pandya done amazing performance in second Twenty/20 match of this series after first match completely washed out due to rain and SKY is surely new hero with his amazing skills and impressive batting most of the players done good job as now they were playing fearless game which helps them for having big target 191 which bring down Kiwis before start of their batting and after start of their batting bowlers were also on target specially Bhuvi is still having good potential for controlling opening batsmen.

Now it's all on BCCI management how they keep this team because giving them free hand allowing to play without any pressure is surely going to be brought new standard for them most of the youngsters are having natural talent which needs some experience for having positive results and with the keeping mission of next world cup in mind they can take good results.

Target like 191 is surely match winning in New Zealand conditions and there was no hope that Indian young and inexperienced batting line up can do score like this but Surya Kumar was in excellent touch, and he hammered all around to kiwi bowlers for his century with the striker rate of 201 with this performance surely he deserved th1 Number One rank in T20i batting ranking, and he can keep this place for long time because technically he is the best player and currently no one can give him challenge.

After having huge target like these, bowlers were also at the top and take few early wickets which not allowed New Zealand for having any good response and at the end they lost the match by big margin which is surely a setback for them after losing their seminal against Pakistan in Australia.
