Someone tell Koeman that if you're 1-2 down and you're looking for goals, putting a bunch of attacking players and stacking them up up front doesn't necessarily means you'll score goals  Trincao, Messi, Dembele, Griezmann, Brainwhite, Coutinho...as soon as Koeman subbed Jordi out (leaving 3 defenders in the backline), we had like three chances to score the 1-3 cuz there was no defence...just look at what Modric did at the end

The last goal is from Modric. I can say Barcelona was not on their average form today. Played very worst. I don't remember when the last time they played this bad in La Liga. In the other hand Madrid mid and defence was op on the field. Really enjoyed the game as a Madrid fan. Also had a bet on the odd of more than 4 with RM. 6 points ahead of Barcelona not bad.

After two defeats in a row, this win against Barca should restore some calmness at Real. And it should also end these weirds rumors that Zidane is going to be sacked soon. They are now on top of the La Liga table again, 6 points ahead of Barca. The Champions League loss was bad but that's been only the first match of the groupstage. I am sure they will look better against Gladbach on Tuesday.

Ha ha liked the 1st line. Really I also surprised when Koeman subbed Jordi Alba for Braithwhate, I was like what is he doing. We could have 5 goals tonight if Neto couldn't save those crucial shots. And that goal from Modric was a top class.
Messi is really missing CR7 lol.

Meanwhile It's just happened at La Liga. Real Madrid win against Barcelona at the Camp Nou! I could not even believe my eyes yet and never though such big win for Madrid, scored three so far the tactics by Zidane was good. Can you imagine the following match of Barcelona against Juventus!

This one really was lost by Barca, not won by Real. Barca had everything going on for them in the beginning of the second half and then they made that stupid penalty in situation when defender could have just left Ramos. Like he does not now there is VAR referee and VAR will always help Real in the end This time there was clear pulling and ref had to give it.

After falling down 2:1 Koeman made it sure that Real wins it by those subs, you were 100% on point with the above comment. Lovely goal from Modric, shows what a bit of experience does to players. Just imagine if that chance has fallen on let's say Jovic's foot

@tomahawk9 just when I thought that Real Madrid will lose tonight, and Zidane will be sacked shortly his player’s fought for him and got him some reprieve, however if he fails to build on tonight’s performance then he’ll be sacked for sure. Also Koeman will be under tremendous pressure now, and he’ll need Messi’s magical performances to bail him, but do you’ll believe that Messi can yet deliver those performances and save Koeman from the sack?.

To be honest, I will never be happy when Barcelona lose a match. But this time I'm happy that Koeman's quality as a coach is just as bad as the one he replaced. It is very rare to see Barcelona playing with 3 defender because usually the coach will use 4 defender. But what Koeman did tonight in my opinion was a big mistake and I will never like him as a coach until the end of the season. Tired of watching Barcelona game now only because of Koeman.
I hope he will be sacked soon if Barcelona also lose to Juventus at UCL.

I couldn't make out the time for this El-classic match, perhaps it really don't feel like it, following the fact that, I didn't know which player I was to be watching out for. I'm a Ronaldo fan and having to make observations between Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo has been the light of the game but, with Ronaldo not on the pitch, it didn't just feel like the El-classic I'm used to watching. It's just Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Though, I'm happy for the great whites to have worn the game and all the big players of the team proved themselves by scoring a goal in the likes of karem Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric. It's really an amazing game but not so fun without Ronaldo. I was looking forward to a game with Barcelona claiming all the possessions but, everything was at equilibrium except for the fact that, Real Madrid bagged the three points. Kudos for the great whites.

Real Madrid only needs to focus on Messi, there is no Suarez anymore. If they can make Messi frustrated, then Real Madrid will have a chance to win or draw.

honestly i don't see this match between Real Madrid - Barcelona as a classic as in the past, this is more like a normal game where whoever wins will not cause much impact because barcelona is not doing well this season and the same can I say for the real madrid (even though i am real madrid fan). It is a game that I will not place any bets on and that would not surprise me if it ended in a draw. both barcelona and real madrid need to consider changing some current players and adding other players. I will only watch this game because there will be no better games at this time in the Premier League

it was a very good game, i thought it would be a boring game and i was already planning on watching a movie but for some reason i said to myself: "i will give it a try..." and i started watching the game i even forgot about movie. Real madrid played very well and scored 3 goals which was something impressive, barcelona was also not too bad, but showed that it still needs changes and to have good results and if it continues like that then becoming a champion can be just a dream far.

If Koeman does not change his game strategy, Barcelona will lose against Juventus. Barcelona played very badly today. Especially their defense is very bad. Koeman should first of all fix Barcelona's defense line up, correct their mistakes. If Barcelona play like this shit, they will not be able to win against any good team.

Barcelona players had never been fixed for almost three seasons, every new coach will take an oath of fixing Barcelona players but its always at the opposite, there some things Barcelona had never understand, Lionel messi is a very good players that every players wants him to use and control the ball all the time, that's why when Lionel is absent, Barcelona plays a very fantastic games, in my opinion , the coach or the players are to be blamed because all players are capable of playing well, so if they can really with hold their excessive trust on Messi, then Barcelona match will be a good one to watch.

I saw just some tickets win exact score 1-3 for Real Madrid and man, those guys were so happy about the win and they should be as Real destroyed Barca without giving them any chances to come back. Wait, I missed the el-clasico game this time because there was a bit of work piling up all day. I didn't see how Barcelona was crushed by the Madrid squad, but of course it was not a result that the supporter including myself could accept.

I'm not going to comment on that game because I didn't watch it, but this result torment Barcelona a lot as they have to be 12th on 7 point. It is not impossible for Barcelona to be in the top 4 in the next 5 or 6 matche. But I know there will be a lot of people who doubt Ronald Koeman will lead the Barcelona squad until the end of the season if in the first 10 game they can't compete in the top 4.

No, no. I wouldn't think so. It's only a matter of time. This is not an end for Barcelona and Messi is not over and he will continue to contribute to the team in the coming season.

I wasn't opportuned to watch the game live so I settled for video highlights. Real Madrid was dominated for most parts of the game and were just lucky to get that penalty but the last goal by Modric was a beauty to watch though. Regardless of the fact that Madrid won, we shouldn't get carried away and ignore the fact that both Barcelona and Real Madrid's performance this season has been nothing to write home about. It's disappointing  since I expect more from both teams.

Agreed. He should try to get signed by another club instead of fighting hard to get back a first team shirt at Barcelona. He's yet to make an impact since joining from Althetico.
