And now we have a nice trolling in our Bitcointalk thread. You guys know no project can succeed in the crypto space without trolling right? This project is getting better every day Indeed Like the old Dogecoin I miss the good old 2014 days. Remember, we have validation soon!!

Can someone send me an Invitation Code, please? Also if I activate the code and be online part-time, and solve the flip on time, will I get terminated?
Thanks

ask for an invitation in the telegram channel. If you decide to flip, get rewarded and mining starts. Next check 02/15/2020 Network growth in this era is 20%. Dynamics like a virus.

It is time to renew statistics on flips:
Epoch #32: 625 flips in total, 3.2% of which are with weak consensus, 3.5% are without consensus, 2.0% are bad flips Epoch #33: 729 flips in total, 3.8% of which are with weak consensus, 5.1% are without consensus, 2.3% are bad flips Epoch #34: 887 flips in total, 7.1% of which are with weak consensus, 7.8% are without consensus, 1.1% are bad flips Epoch #35: 933 flips in total, 4.9% of which are with weak consensus, 6.0% are without consensus, 2.4% are bad flips
So percentage of flips with weak consensus and without consensus got better this time, bad flips stays at average level.

Your first validation is the most important just sync it the day of the validation, and once you pass the validation you can start mining, it's hard to get a validation code this early, they usually send validation on the day of the validation to make sure it will not be wasted, so many validation were wasted.

Idena invitations are like gold, and it will be more valuable in time. Good and smartly spent invitation will benefit network, make it grow and return reward when new guy pass 3 validations in a row.
We only need to have some system to improve and maintain quality of flips. Maybe some qualification round or levels to filter flips.

I agree I wasted once before and don't want to experienced that again, I am only going to refer my close friends who are really interested to mine so I can check his development and if he has a good internet connection so I'll know if he the nodes is syncing properly and he can solve the flips.

The issues with the flips is the contributor submit or make flips that the story is not clear and developer use it on validation. Maybe the developer can consider to make penalty for contributor who is make wrong flips so next they are not make same mistake again. Saturday 8 Feb is my first validation and a couple flips too confusing.

Inviter can terminate your invitation in any time he want until you become verified person. You are under his control and depend on him. You are not protected. And this completely contradicts what is written in idena manifest - "web without servers and censors, blockchain mining must be democratic, decentralization..."

Dear Idena community,
A new version of the Idena node is about to be released. This will be a hard fork. All the balances and identity states will be saved. ❗️Please do not submit flips, do not provide invitations and do not deposit DNAs to exchange during the next 1 hour.
The release announcment will be published soon. The miner status for all nodes will be deactivated. Once you update the node version, please activate the miner status.
Planned changes: 1. Delete flip submission transaction 2. Synchronization improvement: apply online mining status once per 15 minutes 3. Broadcasting protocol improvement: push & pull blocks and votes 4. Increase the number of flips for the long session to enlarge qualification committees 5. Limit the number of available invitations per epoch for the foundation address: min(500, max(50, 1/3*networksize)) 6. Block proposer selection improvement 7. Bug fixes

How can I update to v0.17.1 on my VPS? Same steps as below but with the new version number? cd /home && wget https://github.com/idena-network/idena-go/releases/download/v0.17.1/idena-node-linux-0.17.1 chmod +x idena-node-linux-0.17.1 screen ./idena-node-linux-0.17.1 Thanks! Edit: Yes, replacing the version is the way to go. Note: You can use the code above to update your node.

And this completely contradicts what is written in idena manifest - "web without servers and censors, blockchain mining must be democratic, decentralization..." After the candidate passed the first validation no one can terminate your identity. Your inviter can only delete you from his contact list and even if this is possible, who are in their right mind that will do this since every successful validation of your invites gives you idena rewards upto 3 epochs. One of my invite is already on its age 2 and i receive a total of 500 idena from his last 2 validations.

Oh god... so, your invitation got terminated and you got so pissed about it that now you are going to dedicate your entire life to bring down justice on Andrew? Oh my god... that is so funny... Testnet guy and Hackerman...
By the way, no one mentioned that devs sent most of the funding for comunity proposed projects (Telegram bots) that Endogen is developing...

Why it is that I'm only getting one peer sometimes none at all and sometimes I got up to ten peers other sometimes even though I have a very good internet connection, what must be done to maintain those nodes, I have a bad feeling for things when the validation happens again.

I had the same problems with built-in node. Never got more than 5-6 connections. Then I decided that is better to go on VPS rather than running the node locally. There I have 17-18 connections all the time, and I don't need to keep my PC on 24/7. If you still want to run the node locally, you should have a look in here: https://idena.io/?view=guide#guide-issues-1
