I changed the *.bat version of renat0 in order to also address non default installation paths. Edited: This version should also work if you have java 8 installed. This version still seems buggy, so don't expect it to work on every machine!!!!@ECHO OFF &SETLOCAL IF EXIST java ( start "Qora" java -Xmx256m -Djava.library.path=libs/native -jar Qora.jar ) ELSE ( IF EXIST "%PROGRAMFILES%\Java\jre7" ( start "Qora" "%PROGRAMFILES%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx256m -Djava.library.path=libs/native -jar Qora.jar ) ELSE ( IF EXIST "%PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Java\jre7" ( start "Qora" "%PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx256m -Djava.library.path=libs/native -jar Qora.jar ) ELSE (

Hey community members. We will really soon start a twitter campaign. Qora Member ''reader31'' will use a professional company who will run this campaign the first month for free, this because he know this company for a longer time and they also do the marketing of his own company.
What he asks is the follow, we need:
qora related quotes, punchlines, one liners, anything cool really...to be used for recurring tweets.
So members just post everything you can think of, any articles or whatever in the thread and we will use it for marketing.
Thanks
yes should have my team kick it into gear in the next 2 to 3 days... Nice. With all the trolls gone its getting a bit quiet in here Some campaigning couldn't hurt

http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/07/02.html#18:53:51.658523Qora reveals his original priorities were Arbitrary transactions -> Asset Exchange -> Wallet rework and then other thingsI'll vote for Asset Exchange after this poll ends then. http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/07/02.html#19:02:36.632715Qora says asset exchange aren't complicated if you compare to anonymization when asked if he's able to do AE alone. Leaves to mind that he can do AE alone but not anonymization, but not sureWe are only at roughly 10% average network forging power. I don't know if this is dangerous but I think it wouldn't be too bad if we could have at least 25%. I'm forging nonstop and I know it's profitless but it'd mean a lot if we could bring more security to the network. Please forge if you can and secure the network. Thanks I'm still forging Ok then, Asset Exchange will be my next vote if Qora's plan was that.

You could be FUDing but as a supporter I want the price to crash to aid distribution and uptake. I would be happy with it being in the teens but I doubt it will get there. And if people aren't buying now then they are stupid.

The Balance column shows a weird negative amount in v11, is it just me? Confirmed and Generating Balance columns are ok, show the right amount. The wallet starts ok after shutdown now, so that bug is fixed, thank you!

Polinex seems to me to be an exchange of day traders using all the usual tricks to manipulate the markets.
Qora should try to get on more exchanges, expecially Cryptsy and Mintpal.

http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/07/03.html#18:45:31.587338respected and known member agran suggested we raise fees to incentivate miners to forge I strongly oppose this! Forging will never be profitable. Fighting over measley return is useless. nxt fee should be lower but people keep fighting for this 6 cent fee and that brings an average 0.1% yearly return. That's right, instead of lowering fee and making it better they wanna keep this "gigantic" 0.1% yearly return (i suggested we stop comparing ourselves to nxt yet i keep doing it, i apologize i know it's hard) PoS forging isn't supposed to be profitable. It can't be! You forge to keep network secure and that's it. That's enough incentive. You forge to keep your coins valuable! Fighting for stupid 0.x or 0.0x% yearly return is stupid because it doesn't really make a difference unless it was more than 1% and if it were 1% nobody would use such currency due to being so expansive. If we are cheaper in fees, more people will use qora and we'll have more tx. That will earn us more fee too. I think this fee is good and I see no reason to raise it. So far we've had 0 attacks so forging incentive is working. I think we'll need to decrease it in the future if price goes up. This is my opinion. Let's keep Qora competitive and never become satisfied. Also, regarding forging I think we shouldn't be below 2.5b coins forging. We are at ~18% right now and we should aim to never go below 25% so I'd like to ask everyone to forge. I contacted bter and poloniex not to stop forging since they have big stakes. The Balance column shows a weird negative amount in v11, is it just me? Confirmed and Generating Balance columns are ok, show the right amount. The wallet starts ok after shutdown now, so that bug is fixed, thank you!
That's an old bug. For me right now for example balance isn't negative but it's 6% lower than it should be. I just ignore it, when I restart client it returns back to normal. Yeah forging should never be seen as mining just interest on a bank account. It seems one of the gimmicks at the moment with new coins is to pay a large interest, its a fad, we shouldn't follow fads. The forging is so low now due to low usage anyway isn't it?
