Haaland was able to produce a remarkable performance last season. But in the last few matches Haaland failed to show his skills. Notably, the semi-finals and finals of the Champions League did not have any commendable performances. But hopefully Haaland will do well this season.

Haaland had a great performance at the start of last season. We saw goals from Haaland in almost every match. He performed very well. He was in excellent form at the start of the Champions League as well. However, we have not seen a very good performance from Haaland in the semi-final and final. But I think that's because of Guardiola's match strategy. Guardiola changed his match tactics in the last few matches. Haaland was central to Guardiola's match strategy in the opening matches. But we have not seen this in the last few matches. Guardiola was well aware that Haaland would be the main target for the opposing team's defenders. City doesn't really have trouble beating anyone really. We are talking about a team that beat Real Madrid 4-0 on the semi finals of UCL, think a bout how good they are and how great their talent is. This means that it doesn't really matter to City who they are playing against, if they are playing then they are winning. Of course they do not spend a whole year winning every single game, they do end up losing at least a few times each year, not a lot but a couple times.

Those games do end up in a loss for them not because other team played well, but because they didn't play as well as they could. If that happens, then I would be shocked, I do not expect them to have that, and honestly didn't even expected them to lose to Arsenal neither.

Everyone knew what kind of a career Haaland would have at City so I think last season team were kinda well prepared for him. If that's the case then I think with Haaland adjusting to City tactics in a year, I would say he would score more goals but I don't think it's not reasonable to think that way. I would say it all depend on tactics. I would further add that this season also he would have same no. of goals or somewhat near to that last season's figure or maybe more.

City are not the kind of team to be demoralised easily. I haven't seen City under Guardiola taking pressure after a loss or so. They always have been calm and always play confidently.

however Chelsea's strength is still unpredictable. with the reshuffle made in the squad and also coaching there will definitely be changes in Chelsea's game.

From the preseason matches that Chelsea played, we all saw how they performed and we can see their is improvement in their performance, so we can see that the reshuffle that their new coach has done has improved the teams performance greatly, but preseason can’t be compared to normal season, so let’s wait for the season to start and see how their performance will be, but am still sure they are going to perform well next season, their is already changes in the way the player’s are playing, their is now team work compare to the way they played last season.

I also think that Haaland won’t really be able to score much goals next season. If defenders don’t give Haaland any opportunity, I notice his performance is not  always good in the match, and if you notice towards the ending of last season, Haaland wasn’t given much opportunity, and he couldn’t score much goals again. If we can see how they played in the community shield, Arsenal defenders didn’t give Haaland any opportunity, which makes him kind of useless in the match, am sure other clubs will copy the same thing.

It doesn't mean that haaland lost his quality in last season match but indeed the player cooperation was very strong in Manchstr city so it not surprising that haaland didn't perform well just because he didn't score in the champions league.
But at least he made a good contribution in the premier league and was one of the top goalscorers last season which helped City to get the FA cup and get the title in the premier league as well.
I may not be a fan of Manchester city but I am sure haaland this season will make a good contribution to getting the Champions league trophy again this season even though he has to pass other big clubs but City chances will be bigger after having experience in the champions league.
There is no need to doubt or fear that Haaland will fail again because last season lessons were enough to give him a bad experience and will be corrected this season.

He should start and find it difficult to score tommorow night because this is Burnley no matter how strong you are they always look very hard to break and score. During the days of Sean Dyche before he was sacked they are know for how stubborn and offensive tacklers they have. Erling Haaland might not sckre tomorrow night still.

Liverpool also cannot be underestimated, their strength may be reduced but the coach has other options to make the best formation. this is the first match, I think some coaches might test some players with new tactics and strategies.

IMO, in terms of the strength of these two teams, we cannot predict. after all, both Chelsea and Liverpool, are both in the stage of rebuilding the team to its previous performance. Chelsea underwent a significant overhaul, maybe it will be a differentiator for them this season. Likewise with Liverpool, the fact is that several of their veteran players left in the transfer window this summer.

We can not be sure, how the performance of their newcomers. although, the players Liverpool have brought in this season are of pretty good quality. but still, we can not measure the strength of these two teams. only after the match starts, we will know how their style of play. especially Chelsea, the squad reshuffle that occurred in the Chelsea camp is a concern for football lovers. whether they are able to subvert Liverpool, or vice versa. Moreover, this is the first match, with quite a tough opponent for the two teams that will compete later.
if we refer to the H2H meeting of these two teams, the last 6 meetings have ended in a draw. maybe that's also why, the bookies don't favor one of them. for sure, this match will be a crucial match for both teams at the start of the 2023/2034 Premier League campaign.

Manchester united have finally decided to let go of Harry Maguire by accepting a £30m bid from westham and talks are still ongoing to determine the structure of payment concerning the deal, which means that they'll have to look for a replacement before the end of the window, according to the new Ten Hag has got a four man option for his replacement,  Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice, Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba, Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard and Marc Guehi from Crystal.
 However the price of Tapsoba and Guehi seems very high leaving them to pick between Pavard and Tobido who are cheaper options left for me I'll go with Pavard because he has a final year left in his contract and would be a lot more cheaper and also he has a lot to offer with his experience in top European competitions and that's why Manchester united should be looking out for him more than others since they're in the Champions League competition and Pavard has had a lot of experience playing in the champions league over the years.

Moyes is Manchester United fans legend, signing Harry Maguire to West Ham is a thing of joy, Maguire is not wanted in Manchester United anymore, but he fail to accept it because of the huge amount of money he earn in the club.
 Ten Hag doesn't have him on his plan for next season, is best for him to find a club where he will be playing steady ahead of world cup next year. It's a good move Maguire let him out on more energy and enjoy his new club. Manchester United fans are so happy to see him leave. He cost us so much pains.

Another piece of news about Manchester United in this season is about their new player Højlund, he is a player in Manchester United who joined in this transfer window and people even compare Højlund with Haaland and maybe he can improve the performance of Manchester United in the next season but Højlund is currently injured and according to some news, he will get recovered in the next 6 weeks.
I'm not sure why but in this transfer window I see even more teams that hire a player and the player gets injured just a few days after getting hired.

We know that Vincent Kompany has played as a centre-back for over eleven years and he has also had success with Manchester City. But now he has to prove he can beat Pep Guardiola, his former coach. You could say this fight is like a former student vs teacher match.

Burnley I think would've had better chances of taking something out of their first English Premier League match of the season had the Manchester club won their Community Shield game against Arsenal on Sunday.
City lost that game and wouldn't want to jeopardize their chances of retaining the English Premier League title this season and that's why they'll go all out to win the game and send a clear message to other Premier League clubs that they're still the Champions of England and are capable to retain the title. Burnley will want to also prove a point against City but I think they'll be totally outclassed in the game

It can be used as one of the good reasons but on the other hand usually for the beginning of the season especially for the first match I think everyone wants to show something good and 3 points is a target that is definitely expected especially in this case for Manchester City who are the defending champions.
In the last few matches if you look at H2H Manchester City have always won with a score of more than 2 goals so I think this condition will still continue to occur in this opening match.
Bunrley is a promotion club but they have often felt how the atmosphere in the premier league is so in this case I think their chances just want a draw but even then it will definitely be very difficult to get.

As long as Manchester City still has Pep Guardiola as a coach, then I believe that players like Haaland will still be able to have many goals in every season. Unless, if Haaland is old and Haaland runs out of energy then Haaland performance will decrease it is natural. But anyway, the fact is that Haaland is still young and also Haaland still has great ambitions that of course, Haaland will be able to maintain a great performance for next season as well. After all, we should also be able to recognize that first season Haaland has been able to succeed like that, so it would be very reasonable for Haaland in second season later to be even better than before.

I think for things like this it is not complicated for City. even though there is another final next week that City must face but the opening match they will definitely want something good so I think a score of 2 goals or even more can still happen.

Liverpool lost two of their major midfield players in the transfer window, so their midfield will still be lacking in some areas that can be exploited by Chelsea if their midfield does well. If Chelsea wins the midfield in the game, they can win the whole game and take the three points.

I believe that Chelsea have improved watching their preseason matches, and I expect Chelsea to continue with that form when the season starts, but now that the season is about to start and one of their key players is out of the squad, it will definitely affect them, especially when they are talking about strikers. Know that no matter how good other players are, if they don't have a good player to hold that position of striking, it will reduce their performance, and I think this is what happened to Chelsea last season, all their poor performances also contributed because of the good strikers Chelsea did not have. Anyone who watched Chelsea's matches last season will know that they lack finishing.
 
Liverpool is not a small team, so Chelsea playing against them without a reliable striker is bad, and that will affect them seriously. In fact, even with a striker, I don't think Chelsea can beat Liverpool now. I believe that Chelsea's lack of a good striking position will make it easier for Liverpool to win the game, or if Chelsea is lucky, it may lead to a draw, because I don't know who is capable of making the striking position busy for Chelsea to score goals.

It is not reasonable at all. Only the top top footballers have the ability to maintain top performance season after season at the same intensity. Haaland has done this for the seasons he has players, from the EPL, to the Bundesliga to the Austrian Bundesliga.

I will be really impressed if he replicates the successes of last season.

Every time they play each other, Chelsea and Liverpool are constantly at odds with one another.  No matter how awful both team is, their match always finishes in a draw. Given that both team's player lineups have changed for the new season, we are unable to predict how well either side will perform because of no good midfield player. 
Nkuku shouldn't be the only striker that Chelsea brought in during the transfer window. I believe Chelsea has other quality strikers who can step in for Nkuku during the months he will be out by the injury he sustained in the preseason game.
