Yes,having something to say about Haaland,I think this season is going to be different,he will still win the golden boot,but I don't think he will get the number of goals he got last season.This is premier league and we know how aggressive defenders are there,the moment they see that you have been superb in your goals scoring form,they will place all their attention on you and make sure they put you on goal drought.It is true that Mancity will be demoralized by the result they got in the community Shield,and it will be a boost of moral for Arsenal that won them going into the premier league this season.The game against Burnley is going to be a win win for city,but Burnley will still give them headache and that game might end 1:2 in favour of city.While Arsenal will comfortably win theirs on Saturday against Northingham Forest.

Haaland won't have the same opportunity he did last season when they were already succeeding and that gave the Manchester City players greater confidence, but the season hasn't even begun, it will be very difficult to predict what this season will come with, it will actually be difficult to maintain the number of goals he had last season. and premier league is tough and very aggressive as you said so the man might not get lucky this time, and from the look of things, plenty of clubs are warming up, so it is not going to be an easy bone to chew.

The opening game is Burnley - Manchester City. On paper of course this is a comfortable matchup for Manchester City. However this is the beginning of the season so let's see if we would see some struggles. They started the season with a sad loss against Arsenal in the Community Shield game. It would have been helpful for them to motivate themselves for this game more if they won.

But of course we are still talking about Manchester City. They should be able to win this game by one or two-goal gap probably. The gap would be even higher to me if we weren't at the beginning of the season. But who knows maybe I would still be wrong about it and we see a bigger win.

The results of this game are very clear to me and even the coach of Burnley, Vincent Kompany said his team can't perform like Manchester City or Arsenal and all they can do is to try hard and get the best results they can get in this game to earn more possible points from it.
Also, the intresting thing about this game is Kompany is was a player who played for Manchester City for years and he was a superstar there and now he is going to coach Burnley against his team.

Haaland has been able to succeed like that, so it would be very reasonable for Haaland in second season later to be even better than before.

It is not reasonable at all. Only the top top footballers have the ability to maintain top performance season after season at the same intensity. Haaland has done this for the seasons he has players, from the EPL, to the Bundesliga to the Austrian Bundesliga.

I will be really impressed if he replicates the successes of last season.

Absolutely right and Haaland hasn't only been consisting for years in different leagues and all competitions, he also has smashed records nonstop in a way that I believe some of them will exist for a very long time. I once saw an overview of the number of Champions League goals scored at the age of I think 21, and there was an overview of the best strikers we know, like Messi, Ronaldo and some others and Haaland blasted through these numbers. He scored 35 goals in 30 games and if he has a strong Champions League season again, he could already make it into the all time top 10 at the age of 23.

Liverpool and Chelsea faced tough opponents in the opening match of the season. It is difficult to predict which team will win. However, both the teams have tried to build a strong squad. Both the teams have made several changes within the squad.
But in this match I will bet Liverpool to win. Even though it's Chelsea's home match, I consider Liverpool favourites. In this match, Chelsea are not getting two important players in their squad, Nkunku and Fofana. Besides, I don't see any good performance from Chelsea in friendly matches. They could not win against Newcastle and Dortmund. Both the matches were drawn. The overall condition of the Chelsea team is still not stable. Thus, making accurate predictions becomes a daunting task. Especially when the league is so competitive. Chelsea has made a complete change in their squad. Probably that will bring them good performance. But anyone who is going to expect great results from Chelsea is probably going to be heartbroken. For Liverpool, it is a chance for redemption. They will be looking to start strong in this season. Let’s see what happens. But honestly, I am not very confident about Chelsea.

Burnley finished Championship first and advanced to Premier League. Manchester City is the title holder. They will play each other in season opener. Is this a coincidence?
There's a big quality difference. I expect Manchester City win with a lot of goals. It could be a game where Manchester City intimidates their opponents.

Hahaha the match would be interesting, man city are most likely to win the game but not sure if they will actually intimidate their opponent, as their opponent would not want to loss their first March after the struggle from wining the championship competition.

If Chelsea are really a better team, they should be able to do well even without Nkuku who is out injured. The Chelsea team played well during the preseason and show promising signs to have a better season, Liverpool will give them a good chance to put up a display that will be hard to ignore by the critics of the club. Liverpool lost two of their major midfield players in the transfer window, so their midfield will still be lacking in some areas that can be exploited by Chelsea if their midfield does well. If Chelsea wins the midfield in the game, they can win the whole game and take the three points.

I think it's not about whether Chelsea is a great team or not, but at this moment, at least we have also to realize that Chelsea is starting everything from scratch again. The reshuffling of players and also the coaching chairs, that makes Chelsea still in the development stage this moment. So yes, with Nkuku not in their squad later, of course this will affect Chelsea performance later. Nkuku shouldn't be the only striker that Chelsea brought in during the transfer window. I believe Chelsea has other quality strikers who can step in for Nkuku during the months he will be out by the injury he sustained in the preseason game.

I think that Chelsea in this coming season would have a serious lapse in their defence line. If I were to compare between them and Liverpool, I would go with Liverpool having a better performance and would bet on them winning over Chelsea any day.
We haven't even talked about how Lukaku is making a way out and a new manager with a new strategy to please, else be fired!?

Arsenal on the other hand would be coming in hot. With a penalty win against Manchester city in the weekend community shield and top finishers last season, new players in midfield and strike, everywhere is looking good for them and they are sure ready to shoot those canons!

I am personally waiting to see Chelsea - Liverpool match in Stamford Bridge since Liverpool odds look better in that away game. I wonder know if Klopp will be able to restore the team to its good and successful shape.

Knowing him as the danger man capable of scoring goals, he may be well tackled and marked. Being tightly marked has not fully stopped him before from scoring goals as he still tries to lose his marker and open up for passes from his teammates.

You forget to understand that the Chelsea new coach have had a very experience in the EPL before moving to france to coach one of the biggest club in the planet, and if you noticed he took his time to make a selection of young talented players that he'll be able to work with and left the ones loyal to the team and would obey his instructions i think they'll be looking to build a very stronger squad this season with players that understand eachother other than chasing a trophy but one thing i know is that they'll have good performance and finsh in the top four or maybe close, we seen in previous times where good coaches come into a team with poor performance and chance their mentality and style of play, it happened to Manchester united when Erik Ten Hag came in and Pouchettino could bring that winning mentality to Chelsea as well

Burnley are notorious for giving big teams a tough in the Premier League. They were relegated from the Premier League and are currently back. We don't know if they're still that small team that gives big teams a hard time and constantly loses to small teams like theirs. Everyone is waiting to see how Haaland will kick off the new season. Will he be a goal-scoring machine like he was last season, or will he disappoint after performing so well in his debut season? I don't have high hopes for him this season, but I believe he'll do fine, even not as good as last season.

So one of the options for Pochettino is to recruit a new striker in the remaining time of this summer's transfer window. Nkuku is sure to miss half of the season for the election period, another option for Pochettino is to change the formation without playing a pure striker, something we have often seen done by several Chelsea coaches before, so Pochettino only needs to take advantage of existing players without the need to recruit new players .

I don't think Chelsea have a shortage of strikers, Pochettino still has players in stock to replace Nkuku. Armando Broja, Nicolas Jackson and Romelu Lukaku could take over in that role, but Lukaku is likely to move on.

But if we consider the player quality, Burnley should be not an obstacle for Man City. Although they may miss De Bruyne and Gvardiol, they have enough players to replace them. They have Bernardo Silva to replace De Bruyne and they have some players on the defense line. So, the absence of the 2 players won't impact anything, I believe Man City to win their first match.

It doesn't mean that haaland lost his quality in last season match but indeed the player cooperation was very strong in Manchstr city so it not surprising that haaland didn't perform well just because he didn't score in the champions league.
But at least he made a good contribution in the premier league and was one of the top goalscorers last season which helped City to get the FA cup and get the title in the premier league as well.

And I agree with you, even though he didn't score a few goals in the final game that brought Man City to victory in the UCL, his contribution to the club was very influential. Just look at how the opposing players focused on Haaland during the match, and this made them a little confused by other players at Man City who were also actually strong. Unity in Man City is very solid, they support each other to make the club win. Chelsea is still trying to improve the team for the next season and they sent a 55m for Roméo Lavia and Southampton, this player is very young and he is just a 19-year-old player who can be a good investment for Chelsea because if they hire this player from Southampton and he improves his performance in Chelsea, Lavia can even have better performance in the next years.
It seems the first goal for Chelsea in the new season was not to sell older players but to have players like Lavia at younger ages.

Replacing De Bruyne isn't easy though I think De Bruyne is one of hose players who are irreplaceable. You can do it only somehow, not really totally. But yes on paper I think there are no questions left that Manchester City should win this with more or less ease. Maybe not easily, but it shouldn't be one of their hardest games this season. To kick off a season can be a bit more tricky than other games, but they had their first test against Arsenal and almost won that game, so they can't be too bad and it should be enough for them to win against Burnley.

Arsenal have spent around 230 million euros on transfer fees this summer. This amount is only for three players at the same time. They have made a big investment into their midfield especially. Rice and Havertz will have a big responsibility in their roles. Especially Rice will be expected to perform even more considering his cost and skills.

Rice can make the midfield much more reliable in time to help decrease the number of goals Arsenal concede as well. When it comes to Havertz I'm not too much expectant from him for now. First we need to see how he will perform in his natural role here. I guess Arteta wouldn't put him in the centre-forward position much.

The man is fcking huge mate and to mark him almost seem impossible because he uses his physical advantage to the very fullest just like famous zlatan ibramovich and plus the fact that Manchester city are good when it's comes to opening the defense of their opponent which gives their striker an edge to always have the chances to score .In paper this game is actually supposed to be an easy win for them and as it's their first game of the new league season I don't think they will condone any fuck ups.
