I think that Chelsea in this coming season would have a serious lapse in their defence line. If I were to compare between them and Liverpool, I would go with Liverpool having a better performance and would bet on them winning over Chelsea any day.
We haven't even talked about how Lukaku is making a way out and a new manager with a new strategy to please, else be fired!?

Arsenal on the other hand would be coming in hot. With a penalty win against Manchester city in the weekend community shield and top finishers last season, new players in midfield and strike, everywhere is looking good for them and they are sure ready to shoot those canons!

It is true that Chelsea is going through a rebuilding phase right now, with players changing teams and coaches. Nkuku absence will be regretted, but Chelsea wealth of top strikers may offer alternatives until he recovers. Despite the ambiguity surrounding their lineups, the long standing rivalry between both clubs adds a thrilling factor that elevates their confrontation to a compelling spectacle.

Never say never, it's very good when a manager has the versatility to switch between players, bench some while they rest and put some in good use, more reason why you will see some clubs buy multiples of Midfielders and attackers should in case things go sour, you don't over-rely on a single player and you don't feel too comfortable that a player will survive and no need for replacement. Now that Nkuku will be absent from the team, what is Pochetinno going to do if other midfielders sustain an injury? I think for now, the transfer market is still open, they should get one player for Nkuku for replacement if there is money remaining in the manager's pocket.

Manchester City are an important team and they have strengthened their defence by reinforcing Gvardiol. Still, I think Arsenal is a team that can compete with them. Both teams had competitive matches last year. Even though Arsenal haven't been successful in their last period, I can say that Manchester City is the most difficult opponent. I think we can see a rivalry between the two teams this year as well.

Arteta will definitely try to compete with Guardiola, but my guess is that Arsenal will have a downturn at some point. You see how Guardiola brings the team to the peak, at the beginning of the season they don't always have the best game, but towards the end of the season they reach their optimal form and I think this is a very correct strategy.

Arsenal, on the contrary, started the season very well, but in the most crucial period, at the end of the season, they lost all advantage, conceded too many goals and as a result lost the championship to City. If Arteta does not change anything and everything repeats again, then most likely the result will be the same.

I think Arteta gained significant experience from last year and will warn his players about this. Manchester City were lucky because last year Arsenal have been losing in the league with huge inconsistencies lately. I don't think we will follow the same scenario this year. If Arsenal takes the lead this year, they will continue to develop various tactics with Arteta to use this advantage.

Yeah Arteta is very experienced, I love the way he handles the club though there performance last year was a but low but  I believe they will strategize,  because when you look at Arsenal players you will see that their future is bright

I have known Manchester City not to disappoint in time like this, but let us see what would happen. Let me guess that Manchester City would have been winning from the first half and would also win full time. I will prefer 1.83 odd to 1.33 odd.

I don't think there's anyone who's having any sort of doubt that Manchester City is going to win this game by a wide margin because the quality of players in this Manchester City squad can never be compared to that of Burnley.
Burnley who won the English championship last season we definitely want to prove a point but I think that they will be totally outclassed by Manchester City so I think it will be a direct win if anybody should want to stake his money on the game

Vincent Kompany vs Pep Guardiola in first game of EPL. This season's EPL will be more challenging; I only hope that my favorite club becomes significantly better than before. Never assume excessive expectation from Manchester City because it is the opening game of the season, and there are a lot of objectives from fans and gamblers. Some people are currently putting wagers on the game for tonight, but the majority of individuals believe Manchester City will come out on top. They will always control the game as usual, and Pep Guardiola always expects to win his first game.

Burnley did so well in the Championship last season and most of the thanks has to go to Vincent Kompany, he changed how Burnley play football and they became so impressive, but the EPL is a tougher stage for Burnley and Kompany, for example, they were on top of their game last season in the Championship, but when they met City in the Fa Cup, they were thrashed 6-0, that is the gulf in class between the two teams and the two leagues.

I am not expecting an upset from Burnley tonight, City will definitely get the job done, i know the first few weeks of a new season can be tricky, but not in this game; City will win it easily.

Last season was the greatest season that Arsenal could achieve under coach Arteta, the hope of all Arsenal fans for this season Arteta can lead Arsenal to a championship and bring home a trophy.
But for the Premier League it seems that it is still difficult for Arsenal to finish the League by coming out as champions because they have a tough task, namely to match and collect more points than the defending Premier League champions, namely Manchester City.

To be honest, it's actually too much for those who flatter Arsenal as Premier League champions this season because the journey to becoming a champion is not easy.
I think the runner-up title or finishing in the top 4 positions is more appropriate for Arsenal to have again this season.

I don’t really know why most people are so confident that Manchester City are going to win the match. We all know that Manchester City are the champions and were the best team last season, but this is a new season, and they are playing against a club that has just been promoted to the Premier League. Even if Manchester City are going to win the match, it’s not really going to be easy for them. Let’s see how Manchester City is going to perform this season without those players who left the club. I just hope it won’t have much of a negative impact on the club’s performance.

Maybe a big game Chelsea vs Liverpool. Although Chelsea were bad last season, I think they are still strong enough for Liverpool. Who wins? I favour Liverpool. 

Chelsea vs Liverpool will be one of the most interesting matches of the week. Chelsea's performance was very poor last season, but as we can see, they have a new coach and new players. I expect them to perform very well this season. From the matches that Chelsea played in the preseason, there has already been an improvement in the club’s performance. I know their match against Liverpool will be a tough one for the two teams, but I won’t be surprised if the match ends in a draw or if Chelsea win.

Liverpool has reach an agreement with Brighton to gets Moises Caicedo and they have to spend 110 millions to gets this player and previously Moises Caicedo often linked to Chelsea and even Moises Caicedo has personal agreement with them but apparently Liverpool were successfully to hijack him because Chelsea only dare to bid 100 millions and suddently Liverpool has came with 110 millions and this offers make Brighton agree to release him to Liverpool and this price currently broke the record as the most expensive midfielder in the Premier league after Enzo Fernandez and reported Caicedo will do medical check soon however i never thought this transfer will be happened because previously Liverpool were working on to Romeo Latvia transfer

it looks like Liverpool were in a hurry with the transfer this time the offer from Chelsea made Liverpool have to increase their offer because Brighton will only sell the club with the highest bid, and this is too high in my opinion, the most benefiting from this player transfer is Brighton and this club together with West Ham is a club that has made big profits in the transfer market this season, and for some reason, I think many players are overvalued so that it will put a lot of pressure on these players if they don't live up to expectations, And Caicedo will become the player with the most expensive transfer fee this season beating Gvardiol who went to Manchester City from Leipzig Bundesliga.
With Liverpool's focus on buying midfielders in the current transfer market, proving that they will indeed bring in 3 or even 4 midfielders because Klopp saw that it was their weakness last season that made Liverpool fail to be in the top four last season.

I feel stupid that Liverpool and Chelsea are fighting for a player that has a single goal in his last 37 appearance, lets have small shame except perhaps this transfer is now personal between Chelsea and Liverpool. Caicedo is a coward, he is just repeating back step of Mbape between PSG and Real Madrid, and there is nothing special about this guy, maybe not to everypne but I can proudly say for me, he does'nt derserve to be worth $120 million, it is going to be fun at the end of the season if Liverpool or Chelsea didn't win the Premier League.

How can Caicedo be worth more than Declan Rice? Think about it, there is something that s wrong with this transfer and perhaps a review is needed for accepting Liverpool terms and booking for medicals only to change mind that it he already had a personal terms with Chelsea since May, that's red flag and who knows if Brighton is the one pumping the ideas into his head to raise the bar so they can make money since they haven't won something tangible in century.

The Premier League competition is always fierce and no team is underestimated, hasn't it been proven long ago that the Premier League often has surprises with the defeat of the favorite team.
But in predicting a match, we have to be realistic, regardless that later something you don't want will happen, and in football, surprises are a natural thing.

Well, talking about being realistic in predicting the outcome of matches in the premier league,  for me, i do sometimes go against the crowd, most especially when I see a really high odd, which means the chances of that team winning is low, but also means that, if that team by any chance wins, the potential amount of money for those that bet for that team will also be high based on the odds.
So most times when I see such, even though i know that the chances of winning is very low, i still go against the crowd, but i only do this with a very small amount of money, some thing I am really comfortable loosing knowing that my chances of winning such bet is very slim, though for the several times ive done those over the years, it has only worked out for me once, and that was in 2022 world cup Portugal vs Morocco or Ecuador vs Morocco, i cant remember the match in particular now, but i know that Morocco was in that game and it was the team i betted for when the crowd was betting for their counterpart, and Morocco later won.

I also don't consider Burnley but I see the team's strength realistically so I think Manchester City's chances of winning this match are quite large.

You are right, and to be honest, i dont think any one who is truly a fan of sports will say anything different from what you have said, the game is sure for Manchester city, unless they themselves decides to allow Burnley win.

It would be interesting to see if Burnley are able to create the miracle surprise to upset Manchester City in the first match of the English Premier League this season even though I think it would be too hard for that result to happen today, I guess the home fans of Burnley might have to accept the first loss of their team against Manchester City at the start of this season.

I actually also want a different result in the match later and if Burnley manages to beat Manchester City, of course it will be an extraordinary achievement on their promotional debut in the EPL. Even though they lost to Man City, but their defeat was not easy, they will provide resistance for Man City.

But feeling Man City will win comfortably, maybe this is true. Burnley will be under a lot of pressure against the big clubs this season in the EPL, but I feel they can hold their own. I'm sure Man City vs Burnley will present a good and lively opening match. My prediction is that Man City will win with a narrow score of 1-2 for Man City to win.

Of course Burnley are going to lose this game... I don't remember Man City losing to EPL newcomers... Especially since it's the first kick-off game of this season... And another factor for City's good game is that they lost in the Super Cup to Arsenal recently... Burnley will lose without a chance...

I also think that what you say can happen to Burnley, because Burnley is not a team that can make it difficult for Manchester City and Manchester City themselves might also think that Burnley is an easy opponent for them in the first week of this season so I also agree more with what what you're saying, that is Burnley will lose to Manchester City without any chance.

that's the reason why i were going all in city. Burnley being promoted to the EPL but its performance is still questionable at this moment. I don't underestimate it but i doubt if burnley will able to give a tough game for city. It's caused by burnley was not facing manchester city last season. The club just being promoted to the EPL now. Burnley must be careful with manchester city with all of its stars. City will try to use full power against burnley. Guardiola needs to try its main line up against burnley to make sure whether the main squad is still strong enough or not to win a lot of trophies again this season. My guess if guardiola will be playing haaland and KDB together.

The opening match can be a tough one but I think no one doubts Man City because they really are a solid team and of course the reigning Premier League champions. Although they will be playing as guests but it is undeniable that Man City's level is far above Burnley, so the game against Burnley shouldn't be a difficult mission for Man City.

Despite how Burnley play way better under Vincent Kompany, they have a better chance playing the all out defense and counter attack than going toe to toe with Man City in a possession battle.
Manchester City loves when the opponents comes out to play, when the opponents is not defensive. This leaves aot of spaces at the back.
Burnley don't have the quality of players Man City has to pay that kind of football against them and win.

That's by the way though.
I would really love to see how this Burnley team does this season. This is a team that have always played the ancient traditional football of FBs that are actually defenders and just defenders, not players that join in the attack. They were not used to the modern football style of playing football but Kompany has changed that and it has worked so far. They won the championship last season. One thing I'm looking forward to is how they play this season. Would they turn out to be a force like Brighton or they'll just be another Sheffield United.
