3 points were secured by Manchester United but I feel that their performance in this match was underrated and even if you look at the comparison of Wolves with all their internal problems I still feel that yesterday's match Wolves were much better in terms of attack because Manchester United looked like they were confused in this regard. It's lucky that Varane managed to be the difference in this match because if it ends up being a draw then I think it's a failure for Manchester United.

If the defenders continue to perform like this, they can do well against the bigger teams. Despite having many players in attack, Manchester United's attack is not strong enough. Manchester United have more inexperienced players in attack. Ten Hag should fix this issue ASAP.

Chelsea and Liverpool are English giants, both of them will always find a quick way to improve their appearance. Because the process of becoming an ideal squad takes time, for Liverpool and Chelsea this is commonplace. This season with new players and Liverpool trying to patch the midfield position will be maximized properly. The current Chelsea coach is clearly different in quality even though in the transfer window it is considered wasteful because it costs a very large amount. But we can see the results at the end, at least for the first season Pochettino finished in the top 5 is already a good development.

The Big Match between Liverpool vs Chelsea entertained the audience with various surprises, buying and selling attacks and playing with high intensity became the hallmark of the EPL. The combination of new players and old players looks very solid, Chelsea appeared unexpectedly able to hold Liverpool to a draw which was previously superior. The transfer market for both clubs is still ongoing, it looks like either Liverpool or Chelsea will add a few more players to the squad.

The second week of the EPL will also present an interesting match, Tottenham vs Man United on 19 August. Man City vs Newcastle on 20 August, it will be interesting to wait whether these clubs will also draw.

I wouldn't say that Manchester United performed brilliantly because I was expecting to see them score more goals than just one but to my greatest surprise,they didn't play like those that wants to score more goals. Manchester United needs a good striking force so that scoring goals wouldn't be a problem. I see a very strong defence that Eric Hag has built.

They played horrible and only a blind supporter would say they played good as a team. Their defense is not even there yet and it's only a matter of time before it will be exposed. I bet that will happen once they faced at least a top 7 team. They will concede a lot of goals if they keep playing like this.

I agree here; I was also expecting well-balanced performance from them after having good business in this transfer window, but it looks like things are not as expected, and they can go through down with performance like this against top teams in yesterday match they were badly struggling against team like Wolves and have no good attack and defence which helps them for better result here we can call them lucky as they won and have full three points in their first game of this season.

Ten Haq needs to bring some good changes if he wants his team again into top four if they keep going with performance like this surely they could be not able to compete and having another terrible season ahead of them like we have few seasons back.

Yes, I think Liverpool didn't perform too badly and they even managed to bring home a point. This season Klopp has rejuvenated his squad and it is an update that should be appreciated. While Chelsea have also appeared with a new face this season, Pochettino's arrival has certainly lifted the team's degree from last season's slump. I believe this season the Blues will again be able to compete in the Premier League even though it is quite difficult to dominate the top.

hopefully Chelsea and Liverpool can still compete with other teams which I think they are no less strong than the two of them. Man City, United and Arsenal are the strong favorites this season. Chelsea and Liverpool must be able to make their performances more stable and try not to drop points if they want to compete. I'm not saying they're weak, but these two might struggle a bit to compete for trophies this season.

It was a normal result for Liverpool-Chelsea to end in a draw, but we can make an average estimate after the first 5 matches of both teams. It's like Chelsea still haven't quite gotten used to playing together. Liverpool, on the other hand, starts the season more cautiously. An important match for both teams ended in a draw without upsetting either team. The performances that I am most curious about in the second matches will be the performances of these teams.

His been all over the news haven’t concluded his medical and while £115m would be a lot of money for a defensive midfielder but, from his quality of play, you could tell he would surely prove his worth for the amount he has been transferred with. To think of it, Chelsea is lacking a bit defensively and you can tell from the ease Liverpool had in penetrating there defense line but, with Caicedo haven’t joined the team, he would do a lot in having to coordinate the defense line as well as provide support for their attack.

Since Kante departed Chelsea, I knew they needed to sign a new player to fill that spot, and from the looks of things and Caicedo's stats with his last team, he'll be the right fit. Even though some believe he is overpriced for 115 million euros as a defensive midfielder, what matters most is how he provides and gives back to his club on the pitch. He won't be as expensive if he doesn't have the potential to fill that position, and I'm confident he'll do well and fill the void left by Ngolo Kante.

The distance will certainly show who is worth what, but I am not impressed with the game of Liverpool beforehand. Despite the fact that the newcomers in the person of Soboslai and Mac Allister showed themselves well, Liverpool had only 35% of ball possession. Even if the newcomers continue to play well, I would not say that Liverpool have improved - this is only a compensation for those players who left. If other clubs at least have not weakened, then the status quo of last season will be maintained. As for Chelsea, I can’t say anything about them yet because I got confused in the kaleidoscope of their players.

He should be able to fill the void of Ngolo Kante and play good football for many years. Anticipating these, they paid him 115 million Euros. I think Caicedo is a great signing and I don't think they will regret taking him. Because the money started to look very low in the football market this year.

I kind of understand you that you say that you don't want to go into a debate and I think a first three pointer in the season is more important than playing beautiful combinations and attacks, but frankly, Manchester United played pretty bad and a loss would not have been an unjust result in this game.

Kudos to Wolverhampton because it doesn't happen very often that a team like them has equal ball possession in Old Trafford and double the number shots on target. I think that is enough for ten Haag to have some concerns for the next games.

Yes the three points is all that counts for the moment but he would not want his team to play every match like that because on many occasions they won't get away with those three points with similar performances.

It looks like this is not a very good start and not too bad, But Manchester United performance in the first match against Wolves was not impressive enough. But I see a change that might take time for the Manchester United players to be properly organized in the upcoming match. I think Manchester United haven't fully returned to their best form like last season.

Wolves were able to provide strong competition in this match, but they had to admit it was difficult to score against Manchester United, which was guarded by Onana. Apart from that, the final result was in favor of Manchester United and they deserved to welcome this victory with happy to add to their enthusiasm for the next match.

Based on Chelsea's transfer record so far, they have spent as much as €323m to build their squad. Todd Boehly has really invested heavily in Chelsea since he took over from Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich, the transfer market has actually managed to drain his net balance over the years.

Todd Boehly has enormous ambitions to return Chelsea to its former glory, but this team will need a lot of time and investment. Pochettino is in charge of all the players brought in and he must know exactly what to do throughout the season. Chelsea are focused on the Premier League and domestic competition, and Pochettino should have no big problems getting Chelsea into the top 4 at the end of the season.

You don't judge the outcome of the league performance of a team from the beginning of a game, if you noticed Manchester united last season lost two of their opening games, a horrible back to back defeat against Brighton and Brentford and everyone thought that would be one of the worst season for them but it ended up being of the best since after Sir Alex Ferguson's era, they finish third, won a trophy and even played the FA cup final though they lost to city, the league just started and some players are still adjusting to the new tournament maybe due to an injury or lack of fitness and though their performance was not as expected but they managed to secure the  3points which is most important.
 As for the captain  Bruno Fernandes he's definitely the best option for the role and the players and board supported it so im not going to judge his ability with just one awful performance, however he was the one that created the chance that made Wanbissaka assist a goal, i think Erik Ten Hag would learn from the match and make the necessary corrections against  their next match, moreover they might still sign more players before the window ends especially in the midfield area.
